Rosario is a great host and very helpful. He even arranged a ZTA registration for our car as it was parked within the zone. This is our number one pick for accommodation in Palermo.

Very nice place to be. A bit hard to find and you'll have to call the owner to get in the house. Fantastic views from the "Breakfast-room" (balcony). Recomendable.

We had a wonderful stay! Right in the city centre above the market. The host was very welcoming and helpful and the balcony has an incredible view! We didn’t have breakfast but the host still left some snacks out for us. Would definitely recommend and stay again :)

Hosts were really easy to contact and accommodating to our late check in. Comfortable little room with nice bathroom and great view. Super close to the market.

Very nice 3 days stay there. Although I did not like the entrance to the building because it is from the market (I am not a fan of the Ballar historic market), I have to admit that the view overnight was spectacular. Rosario is a great host who recommended nice places and did his best so that we have a comfortable stay at the property, which is 150 m close to a main walking street. The breakfast is standard Italian, so do not expect vegetables, omelet, or anything like that but great coffee, a croissant, fresh fruits, water, and juice.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was nicely decorated and furnished. My daughter had an early morning doctor appointment and this was the perfect location for us to both enjoy the market and surrounding sites and easily access her doctor. We arrived earlier than expected and we were warmly welcomed. The room had amazing, breathtaking city views. And you could hear the vibrant market life but if you needed quiet, closing the windows and shutters offers terrific sound dampening. There will be sounds and smells being so close to the market of course-more ambience than nuisance honestly. The area did not give ‘dangerous’ vibes at night and we felt comfortable walking for our evening walk and out to dinner. Rosario was understanding of our need to leave early as well and he made that quite easy. Not to mention he was so understanding of my broken speaking of Italian. We will hopefully be able to return and stay again. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed.

Great place to stay, Rosario was amazing as he responded quickly to our messages and suggested a great place to have dinner. It's a little difficult to find, but the rooms were great and a five-minute walk to Quattro Canti and the market is right outside the building. Views from the room were magnificent and would definitely stay here again when returning to Palermo.

Very nice host, who can always give tips and strives to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The accommodation is located directly on the market, so you should be okay with being woken up by Italian shouts, which, however, has its charm.

Perfect location, close to everything. On the sixth floor of a building at the Ballarò market. Despite the shabby entrance, the structure is excellent, comfortable, clean, and has a terrace with an amazing view. The manager is very informative, including a historical overview of Palermo. This allowed us to better appreciate all the beautiful things we saw in this city. Highly recommended.

Optimal location for moving towards the major attractions of the city. In the pulsating heart of the Ballarò market, surrounded by colors, smells and flavors. Exciting view of the dome of the Church of the Carmine, allowing one to admire its majolica and sculptures.

I returned to Ballarattik bringing friends, who were fascinated by the location (in the historic market), the comfort of the b&b (the view is spectacular), and the friendliness and availability of host Rosario. Thanks to him and to Ballarò, we had a truly immersive experience in the less touristy Palermo. We came back very, very satisfied.

The Bed and Breakfast is located on the sixth floor of one of the tallest buildings right in the Ballaró district, in the middle of the famous and characteristic market. The view from the windows and the terrace is wonderful, you can admire all the churches of Palermo. The room is clean and tidy, a bit small the space where the bed is placed, but with a really comfortable mattress. Rosario and his wife are super welcoming and willing to give you lots of useful information to visit Palermo. I recommend it for those who really want to immerse themselves in one of the most characteristic neighborhoods made of music, voices, and the scent of arancini. Giulia.

For those who have no problems with adaptation to the location where it is located (it's right in the Ballarò market), Ballarattik is the ideal point to visit the historic center of Palermo. It is a few minutes walk from most of the tourist attractions, only the old port and the new promenade are a bit further away. It's a good, functional structure with a fantastic panoramic terrace, discreetly managed but with Rosario present.

Comfortable, clean and equipped with all comforts. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Ballarò market and a stone's throw from the city's major attractions. Don't be intimidated by the colors and features of the historic center, it will be a true experience.

Excellent facility very close to the center. The room had a terrace with a spectacular view of the center and the Ballarò market. The noises of the market could be heard even with the windows closed, but personally they didn't bother me. The manager was kind and helpful.
