Me and my travel buddy had a great time at the Opera Boutique B&B! It was perfectly located as a 10-minute walk from our conference venue. The breakfast was amazing every morning! The staff were super nice, flexible, and easy to work with. Most important for a hot summer in Florence, their room had amazing air conditioning!

We had a lovely stay at Opera Boutique B&B. The neighborhood is really quiet and nice. 15 minutes walking distance to SMN train station, 15 minutes walking distance to city center.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The room was charming, and the owner was incredibly gracious and kind. Immaculate room, with phenomenal service, and only a ~20 minute walk from most of the major attractions in the city.

Well located, nice big rooms with high ceilings and well decorated with many references to (classical) music. Very hospitable owners; we were treated like friends. Good advice about where to eat and go. Breakfast served in the room was excellent. Recommended.

From the moment we arrived, Francesca and Paolo welcomed us with a warmth that made us feel at home. Their Ópera Boutique B&B exceeded all our expectations. The room was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything necessary for a perfect stay... and much more! Every detail was thought out for the comfort of the guests. The location is ideal: in a quiet neighborhood that allows for relaxation, but just steps away from excellent dining options and easy access to the main points of interest in the city. It was undoubtedly a delightful experience. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Great accommodation, the only inconvenience is the noise from the street but the managers did their best by providing earplugs and installing very thick windows.

Area Fortezza da Basso

A masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, built between 1534 and 1536 on a design by court architect Antonio da Sangallo the young for the first duke of Florence, Alessandro de'Medici, the Fortezza da Basso (or San Giovanni Battista in homage to the patron of Florence) since 1967 is the main structure of the exhibition-congress center of Florence and central Italy, located in a strategic position in the historic center of the city.
