Hello, and thank you for choosing us. Please be informed that FROM APRIL 1 TO OCTOBER 31, upon check-in, you are required to pay in cash the tourist tax for the Municipality of Carovigno, which is €1.30 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 12 years of age are exempt.
Please notify us in advance of your check-in time, as the property does not have a 24-hour reception.
CHECK-IN TIME IS FROM 5:00 PM TO 7:00 PM, AND CHECK-OUT IS BY 10:00 AM. Any flexibility must be requested and agreed upon well in advance.
For arrivals between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, a €50 late check-in fee applies, payable in cash upon arrival.
Check-ins after 9:00 PM are not accepted, even with payment.
All late check-in requests are subject to confirmation by the property.
Please send a copy of the bank transfer within 1 day of booking. Beyond that time, the reservation will be considered cancelled.
For last-minute bookings, please send proof of instant bank transfer.
If you choose to pay a deposit via bank transfer, you must send the payment proof within 1 day of booking. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be paid in cash at the property.
The property has 2 showers. One of them, a comfortable stone shower cabin, is built into the bedroom.

You will be staying in a 13th-century historical residence, once an ancient oven belonging to the Carovigno Castle (just a few steps away), recently renovated and equipped with air conditioning.
As a welcome kit, you will receive coffee pods, a bottle of water, and a bottle of wine.
74 sqm entirely at your disposal, including a lovely outdoor relaxation area, perfect for hanging laundry, enjoying a glass of wine, or storing bikes and beach gear.
Having an outdoor space is a rare feature in historical centers, and Domus Cesare offers full privacy for both relaxation and laundry.
The property has a small kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. It is fully equipped for preparing small meals (pans, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, oil, and salt).
Quiet area, well-served by restaurants.
There is one bathroom (toilet, bidet spray, shower, and sink), and an additional shower is located in the bedroom.
Domus Cesare was created to promote the historic center of Carovigno, known as "Rione la Terra", and to share our thousand-year-old traditions with guests.
The property, dating back to the 13th century, is located within the ancient city walls bordered by Porta Brindisi, Porta Nuova, and Arco del Prete. It has recently undergone meticulous restoration to preserve its charm and authenticity.
Upon check-out, the house must be left clean and tidy as it was found.
Final cleaning is included in the price. Daily cleaning can be requested for an additional fee of €100, or cleaning supplies for self-maintenance will be provided at check-in, along with linens.
Linen (sheets and towels) is changed once a week, or with each new guest.
Extra linen change is available at €15 per kit.
Pets are not allowed in the property.
Visitors are not allowed, unless previously communicated.
Each guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property or its furnishings.
Keys must be returned at the end of your stay. In case of loss, a €200 fee will be charged.
Domus Cesare is not liable for the loss or theft of personal items or valuables.
Please turn off all lights, air conditioning, and other appliances when leaving the house to avoid short circuits.
Do not flush diapers, paper, or bulky materials down the toilet – use the provided waste bins.
Please remember: on departure day, Domus Cesare must be vacated by 10:00 AM to allow for cleaning and preparation for incoming guests. Late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
One infant up to 2 years stays free of charge (can sleep in parents’ bed).
If you need a crib, please request it at booking. The crib is available at €20 per stay, including a linen set. Only one crib is available.
Only one infant (0–2 years) may stay for free. Additional infants will be charged €20 per night.
Bookings for 2 guests include use of the double bed only.
If both guests prefer separate beds (double + sofa bed or single bed), a €50 supplement applies for the entire stay, payable in cash at check-in. Please notify us in advance so beds can be prepared accordingly.
For 3 guests, you may choose one of the following options:
Single bed in the bedroom (suitable for children up to 15 years old)
Extra-comfort sofa bed in the living room
For 4 guests, the extra-comfort sofa bed (18 cm mattress) will automatically be prepared.
If no preference is indicated at booking for the 3rd guest, the host reserves the right to choose the most suitable arrangement.
Use of alternative heating devices is prohibited. Penalties may apply for unusual energy consumption.
Waste must be sorted and disposed of according to the local recycling calendar, available in the house. Alternatively, you may bring your sorted waste to the Ecological Island at Via Santa Sabina 105 or at one of the intelligent waste stations:
