Casino Tonti Iarussi is a charming stone farmhouse with roots dating back to the early 1800s, recently renovated to preserve the authenticity of local tradition. Situated on a plateau at an altitude of 800 meters, this facility is located in the heart of nature, surrounded by meadows and oak forests, offering its guests an ideal retreat to rejuvenate and enjoy enchanting landscapes.

Inside, the ground floor features a spacious living room of about 50 square meters characterized by a large stone fireplace, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped, encouraging moments of conviviality with family and friends. The common areas also offer a double sofa bed, armchairs, and tables available for informal dinners, while the first floor includes two double bedrooms and a small room with a bunk bed, allowing comfortable accommodation for up to eight people.

For my conception of a vacation, it is the ideal mountain place. A dive into nature. It makes you feel far away from the dynamics of today's chaotic society. Silence reigns supreme, and it is the first thing I look for in a vacation. The house is completely independent. There are no houses within hundreds of meters. It is a veritable paradise. My girlfriend and I, along with another couple of friends and two dogs, had a wonderful time. We chose it among many because it met our search criteria: isolated, with a garden, an outdoor barbecue, and the possibility of bringing pets. The owners are kind and welcoming. Have them tell you the story of Casino Tonti Iarussi! We definitely want to return in late winter to use the fireplace and make the atmosphere even more magical. Recommended for everyone who aligns with the review.

Beautiful house located in the middle of nature, we relaxed and had a lot of fun. Perfect if you also bring your dog, where it can play freely outdoors. Very kind and helpful owners.

Spectacular farmhouse, with meadows stretching for hundreds of meters. Spacious and well-maintained farmhouse. Use the heating a lot as it takes a little bit to warm it up. Extremely friendly and helpful manager. Cleaning could be improved but is adequate for a countryside farmhouse.

Welcoming and clean structure (tidy and fragrant linens) equipped with everything. Very large and relaxing outdoor space, although a bit shabby (the barbecue area a bit abandoned and the swing without cushions). Outdoor tables and benches a bit makeshift but more than enough for a countryside cottage. Dogs accepted without restrictions and additional charges. The outdoor space is not fenced but the land around it is huge and far from the village road. Certainly, you need to have an animal that responds to recall because the outdoor space is large and full of wildlife, making it very interesting for any animal with a keen sense of smell. The spiral staircase that leads from the lower floor of the living room and kitchen area, to the upper floor with the bedrooms and bathroom, is a bit narrow and steep, and my two dogs were afraid to climb it, so I had to sleep in the living room (there was also a sofa bed available there). The road leading from the main street to the cottage is not paved and it is better to have a not too low car, but it's just a few hundred meters. However, the owner was very kind, attentive, and helpful.

The structure and its worthy natural surroundings seemed so special and welcoming to us that it led us to return more than once during the year. We believe that stone farmhouses so well maintained, found in such contexts, are not very frequent in the countryside or mountains, and therefore are worth more than one experience. Each time we were able to appreciate that staying there translated into an almost affectionate flattery as well as being an ideal response to expectations. Furthermore, we liked: the exquisite friendliness of the owners, the functionality and warmth of the stone house, the still intact landscape, and last but not least, the freshness of spirit of the local people. Below are some verses - silent and strong - by Emily Dickinson to depict with a few masterful strokes the long and changing enchantment of this place. "The light of the Morning - where the Dew resides - The light of Noon - destined for the Wheat - The light of the afternoon - for the flowers - And for the wild cherries - the light of Sunset!" Emily Dickinson. Thus, at every hour a light and an enchantment: the dew, the hay, the flowers, the wild cherries. And always at every hour spaces, mountains, elusive creatures, stones, wind, woods, gentle faces, intense earth that has the scents of the proudest nature. And of man's past here so present, so silent and strong as to leave one stunned.
