We were very lucky to find La Corte Del Gelsi, a beautifully renovated stone farmhouse/cottage. Beautiful views of the valley and Brendola community from the back of the house. Several lovely local options to go for a nice dinner nearby while also you're close to Vicenza where we spent a day touring the historical Centro. Davide, our host, was so kind and generous of his time to make sure we were comfortable. Lovely quiet setting overlooking olive trees and close by vineyards and to top it off a very beautiful pool to enjoy the outside of the property. Very highly recommend a stay!

What a beautiful place and oasis of calm! The country house has been beautifully renovated, with a great and antique/exquisite interior. We felt so comfortable that we extended our stay. This was also due to the incredibly warm, loving, and helpful hosts Davide & Maurizio.\n\nThe breakfast is regional and a lot of it is homemade, tasting wonderful. We already miss Maurizio's baking and cooking skills, the great service, and the warmth and joie de vivre of Davide and Maurizio. The house has a stunning charm and a great soul.\n\nThe view from the terrace across the pool down to the valley is stunning. We enjoyed it very much and will be back!

From 3 days we extended to 5, then 7, then 10 incredibly beautiful vacation days. Newly opened in March 2023, the property is in a pristine condition. Renovated and furnished with attention to detail, I have rarely seen such good and beautiful work. So, if you love the ambiance of a top modernized country house with equally top renovated antique furniture, this is the place for you. The location is very quiet, perfect for those looking for exactly this near the city, while those who want to live in the hustle and bustle of the city should look elsewhere. Piacenza is only 15 minutes away by car, but you can also ride directly into the city on a mountain bike over the mountain. The breakfast is varied and high quality. The cakes and breads are freshly baked on site. Surrounding the property are meadows with young olive trees, where you can sit perfectly for a spritz and the sunset either here or by the pool. It's almost embarrassing to give the maximum number of stars, but I can't do otherwise here. It's still a hidden gem that will surely soon be fully booked. No need for photos, Davide's beautiful shots are real and reflect the current situation. Unfortunately, this review platform has technical issues...

An authentic corner of peace, with hospitality that warms the heart. We stayed at the Corte dei Gelsi for three nights with my husband, during a particularly delicate time for our family. From the very first moment, Davide's warm welcome, with his calm and reassuring smile, made us feel in a safe place, almost suspended, where we could truly relax. Arriving here was like accessing a little paradise. Every detail speaks of the joy of the little things that matter: nothing is exaggerated or artificial, everything is authentic, cared for with simplicity and love. I loved the warm colors, the enveloping scent of the interiors, the reassuring texture of the "grandma's" sheets, and the delicious breakfast dishes with the taste of time and tradition. Davide's attention was constant, never intrusive but always present. The dinner recommendations were timely and perfect for our needs, even though the desire to return “home” was growing stronger. Among the most beautiful moments was the time spent on the bench under the tree, immersed in a silence full of wonder and possibilities. There we found a bit of ourselves again. A special thought also goes to Maurizio, another guest of the structure, with whom we shared pleasant chats by the pool at sunset. Together with the company of the new furry friends of the house, wonderful cats that could only win our affection. The desire to return is very strong. We feel we have left a piece of our heart there, but also that we have found a place not far from home, where we can be welcomed in the best way.

The Corte dei gelsi is a precious address, the place is stunning and the house, beautifully renovated, is surrounded by nature. The rooms are very nice, tastefully decorated, quiet, and spotless. The breakfast prepared by Davide is the best; the room with a garden view is very nice, and the products are fresh and of excellent quality. Davide is also a great host, very kind and empathetic; it is very pleasant to have a chat with him. You really can't have better; I hope to return soon, it's rare to find such welcoming places.

Staying at Davide and Maurizio's was a dream! The house is immersed in nature, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, ideal for spending a few days relaxing. We stayed at La Corte dei Gelsi for one night. The owners Davide and Maurizio were super helpful and kind, providing us with directions and suggestions. The structure is welcoming with a beautiful view and completely away from noise, ideal for relaxing by the pool as well. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, super breakfast with locally sourced and quality products (including homemade pastries!). If you are in this area, it is absolutely recommended!

We had lunch on Easter this year. It was a wonderful experience. Warm welcome and friendliness from Davide and Maurizio, the owners, in a truly magical setting. Well renovated old courtyard house. We will return in the summer to fully enjoy the landscape and the well-positioned pool. All this accompanied by excellent food, carefully prepared in taste and presentation. The structure is wonderful. It feels like taking a leap back in time! It's immersed in greenery, no noises are heard, and you are enveloped in a heavenly peace. Enchanting, relaxing, cozy... are some adjectives that describe this magical place, a recently renovated rustic immersed in nature but also close to a few kilometers from the A4 if you want to visit most of the beautiful and important Veneto cities!\n\nThe owner, Davide, is available to offer you the best. We stayed in the spacious 'Corte Benedettina' on the ground floor, warm and quiet, breakfast with fresh products, nothing prepackaged!\nAs soon as it will be possible, I will return for a few days, certainly in summer to enjoy the beautiful pool, perhaps cooling off after a hot day of hiking or mountain biking in the hills of the adjacent Berici Hills!
