We spent five days at Villa San Marco and enjoyed every single one of them! It is highly recommended; you should plan to stay for more than one night — you will regret it if you have to leave already after your first breakfast on the wonderful terrace!

What a location! We felt like we'd gone back in time and were experiencing Agrigento as Sicilians did in the 19th century. The property is beautiful and has been in the owner's family for hundreds of years. We were served magnificent breakfasts while looking out over the temples. The family were very kind and happy to chat and share their home. Communication was fantastic and very clear via WhatsApp. This is not luxury accommodation, but simple, rustic and very clean. The drive for the last four minutes was a little harrowing, but we quickly got used to it and really enjoyed seeing foxes and rabbits while returning in the evening. You'll hear dogs barking and peacocks crowing during the night, but that is part of country life. We were very sad to leave such a peaceful place and highly recommend the property. Just be realistic about your expectations and relax.

What an excellent place to stay. From the initial greeting, the room, the grounds and animals, to the delightful breakfast with perfect hosts, everything was superb. The views of the temples were awesome.

Stunning secluded location in the archeological park. Great farmstay. Vincenzo and his family were welcoming and could not have done more for us. Highly recommend as it is a unique property and would definitely stay again.

While visiting Agrigento for the Valley of Temples, there are plenty of hotel choices. However, for the real Sicilian experience, we chose the San Marco-real Sicilian family villa, located inside the gardens, next to the Valley of Temples. We had a spectacular view of the most preserved temple from the outdoor breakfast area. Getting to the villa by narrow dirt road winding between the old stone walls is part of the fun (very bumpy but it's only about a minute's drive). What makes the stay special is the hospitality of the owner, Vincenzo, his son Salvatore, and the rest of the family. Highly recommend it for the hospitality, experience, views, breakfast, best location, and price. You may not like: the road there, the animals around if you are allergic, access to the dinner options (we bought our food and wine on the way from Scala del Turchi 20 minutes away and had a great dinner on the terrace).

We had a remarkable stay at this Villa San Marco. The welcome is particularly warm. The geographical location is exceptional. From the terrace, you can see three temples and the nature is lush as the garden is well maintained. The breakfast is wonderful and the food delicious. If you want to spend an unforgettable moment in Sicily, go to Villa San Marco, an exceptional family is waiting for you there. Thank you for everything.

Absolutely recommendable. 1. From this B&B, you can enjoy the best view of the Valley of the Temples. 2. The owners of the B&B, parents and three children, are very interesting and delightful people. 3. The breakfast is also delicious! And abundant. 4. The place is unique: the park, the house, the bedrooms, the common areas, the animals... everything is fantastic. Fortunately, we were not intimidated by some reviews that described the road to get there as a terrible adventure. I am not particularly skilled at driving, but I have taken this road several times, even in the dark and after a night of rain, without the slightest difficulty.

My husband and I stayed at this property, we liked it right from the start due to the beautiful location within the Valley of the Temples park. We had been warned that the road to access the property is not very comfortable, but still passable if you go slowly. The kind welcome from the owner's son made us feel at ease right away. Breakfast in the morning is served in the outdoor area with a view of the temples. It is rich in genuine products at zero kilometers. We had a small problem that we discussed with the owner, and he was attentive and courteous, perhaps too much... I would have never expected such a privileged treatment. We highly recommend it, especially if you have children... there are a lot of animals, a great idea to introduce your kids to them. In the garden, before breakfast, we had the chance to observe three peacocks roaming free in the garden, spectacular! We sincerely thank the managers.

Very welcoming structure immersed in the Valley of the Temples park with a spectacular view of the Temples. The family managing the structure is very welcoming and helpful. Animals and plants of all kinds make the stay enjoyable. Congratulations to Vincenzo, who knows how to entertain guests pleasantly.
