LudBen Dante

I stayed for three nights. I’m a bit suspicious of all the 5/5 Google reviews. On the positive side, the location is central, the rooms including the bathroom and shower are cleaned every day, Francesco promptly responds to service needs, hot water in the shower, strong WiFi, TV works well, mini refrigerator is provided, electric kettle and tea bags, adequate lighting in the room and LudBen Dante hallway, and there are three sets of keys to keep the room secure. It would have been convenient if Francesco had emailed the codes needed to enter the building, LudBen Dante suite, and the room instead of miscommunication through text messages on the day I arrived. I did arrive 20 minutes early but having all the codes would have made entry to the room problem free. The building is old and you will need to haul your luggage up three flights of stairs. At night, you will have to climb up or down the stairs and find the keyhole at the top of the stairs to the LudBen Dante suite in total darkness for the stairway lights don’t work. I slipped and nearly had a serious accident grabbing the handrail just in time. The bedspread is stained and doesn’t look it has been cleaned for a long time. The mattress is hard and street noise comes through the window which interferes with getting a good night’s rest. As for breakfast, you are given a coupon which you can take to the cafe across the street in exchange for an Italian breakfast of coffee or cappuccino and a croissant. If you want an American style breakfast you will need to wait until 8:30AM and pay for it. Towel exchange was changed from every two days when I booked the room to every three days. Francesco was accommodating and alerted the cleaning woman to provide fresh towels every two days. However, I would not stay in a place if towels were changed every three days. Checkout is promptly at 10AM and all keys need to be returned to the room. If you need to store your luggage past checkout then it can be left in the hallway and you will need to use the codes to get into the building and LudBen Dante suite. I gave LudBen Dante only two stars for there was no lift, stairway lights don’t work making access to the room dangerous, noise level from street noise, hard mattress, building and room codes not provided before arrival, and the dirty bedspread.

On the website, breakfast was scheduled from 06:00 to 11:00, but the bar only opened at 08:00-08:30. On the other hand, I find it extremely exaggerated to pay 10 euros per day for a coffee and a brioche.

The only positive aspect was the location. It is in the center of Naples. Regarding the room itself, it is new and clean. However, the building is in very poor condition, with many cracks, there is no elevator and the balconies are at risk of falling debris. During our stay, one night a piece of cornice fell to the street and it is dangerous. We were very scared. The shower drain was clogged.

We chose the LudBen Dante accommodation. We highly recommend it: it was a reliable choice. Francesco is kind and helpful; he responded promptly. Mrs. Maria is a wonderful person. The room cleaning is impeccable, thanks to her. The location is very good and strategic, very close to the center, to the main attractions and well served by public transport. Beautiful, very clean, quiet, and spacious room. We stayed one night with 4 friends. I recommend it.

I stayed with my family in this beautiful B&B. The structure is welcoming inside a typical Neapolitan building. A stone's throw from the metro and the center. The host was always in touch with us and ready to meet all our requests. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We will come back.

The structure is excellent, centrally located, and served by the metro. The owner is delightful. It's a pity that breakfast is served by unfriendly people who change the price for extras every time. Recommended!

Excellent accommodation. We stayed with our children, and the room was spacious and clean. The location is ideal, just 50 meters from Dante metro station, perfect for visiting Spaccanapoli, the Spanish Quarter, and the city's main attractions. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, promptly resolving a small issue we had with breakfast. The only downside is the breakfast itself: on the website, it was listed as available from 06:00 to 11:00, but the bar only opened between 08:00 and 08:30, with an excessive cost. Paying 20 euros per day for four people for a coffee and a croissant seemed overpriced. Despite this, the accommodation is extremely convenient, and we highly recommend it!

Great. Spacious and clean rooms. The only downside is the soap dish and shampoo in the shower and shower caps, which are needed for ladies. However, everything else is perfect. Excellent location.

Structure in the city center, just a few steps from the subway. Clean room, excellent assistance. Too bad breakfast was missing.

The room is welcoming, clean, and especially just a stone's throw from the attractions of Naples. We were just a step away from the metro so we could visit the peripheral areas. The manager is very helpful, especially with the requests made! My husband and I are happy to have stayed there and, if we return to Naples, we will definitely book there again. Recommended.

Good morning, we found ourselves well in your structure. The room was really spacious and bright. Only two things did not go well for us honestly. First: I had expressly requested a balcony since we are smokers and you guaranteed its presence. What we found cannot be considered a balcony. You should have honestly informed me about the dimensions and I would have evaluated. Second: I had asked for information regarding breakfast, I was told that during the booking phase I could choose. However, during the booking phase, perhaps because I paid in a single solution with the credit card, I was not asked anything, and honestly at that moment I had not thought about it anymore. My disappointment lies in the fact that on the evening of our arrival I asked Francesco how to have breakfast and I was told that since I had not chosen during the booking phase it was not possible to add it. In my opinion, that was not a response to give to the customer.

The cleaning lady was very kind and helpful to us. An excellent staff.

LudBen Dante was the best choice we could make. 1. Location: I cannot imagine better. 2. Cleanliness: impeccable. 3. Availability of the host: absolutely constant, courteous and quick. Review from ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Always a guarantee! 5 stars for both the staff, who are always kind and helpful with every request, and for the very clean, spacious, and tidy rooms.
