We had a really positive experience in this property. The house is comfortable and equipped with every service, with an impeccable level of cleanliness and Mrs. Caterina was very kind and helpful. The location is really convenient, especially for those traveling, being close to the station and just outside the center of the village. Moreover, the proximity to the river provides a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The price/quality ratio is good, considering the service offered. Definitely recommended for those looking for comfort and a strategic location in Borgo Val di Taro.

Hey, I'm Cristina

Good morning everyone! welcome to my home with a view! we are in the Taro valley in the valley of the PGI porcini mushroom where nature envelops you. I love this place. I would like everyone to know it, that everyone could see the sea from the mountain, smell the scent of the woods and sometimes see a little animal hiding warily...there is a beautiful river where you can cool off in the summer...I love meeting people exchange ideas and ways of being with them. Everyone is welcome: we are a TRAVEL PROUD certified facility. . whoever you are, whoever you love, you are welcome with us!!

Area Semicentro

Borgo Val di Taro is a municipality of approximately 7,500 inhabitants located in Emilia Romagna, in the province of Parma. Located along the course of the Taro stream, it rises above 410 m above sea level. The origins of Borgo Val di Taro are very ancient and the first attestations date back to Roman domination. Over the centuries it was long disputed among the nobles of the
area, who wanted absolute dominion over the entire Taro valley. Now it is a town that lives on tourism, agriculture and small artisan businesses. The Taro is the protagonist crossing the entire valley: from its birth in Santa Maria, it crosses Bedonia, Compiano with its medieval castle, Borgotaro to descend towards the plain. The valley is a mosaic of landscapes that constitute a natural environment without roads or noise; ancient oak groves and old chestnut groves envelop it all around. You can practice various sports from hiking with different interesting itineraries, yoga, horse riding, cycling, tennis, paddel, swimming in the summer in the beautiful swimming pool just 3 minutes from the town. And then there are the food and wine festivals from the Mushroom and Chestnut Fair, and the small celebrations in the surrounding villages. In Bedonia there is a beautiful planetarium open periodically to the public. And then if you come during the carnival the town comes alive with parties and drinks, even in summer on the last Sunday of July. Why should you pass through here? First of all, it's good! There's a cool climate even in summer, there's the protected nature of the Ghirardi oasis, a WWF reserve, the food is good... in short, come to Borgo, I'm sure that you will come back!!!
