Very nice, comfortable and clean place at the ideal location for my purposes. The fridge, stove and sink are very helpful. The manager is very friendly and competent and speaks very well English which was very good because I speak no Italian. Highly recommended.

We stayed in room n°4, very spacious, clean, fully equipped with a kitchenette, nice bathroom, private terrace. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and discreet. Abundant breakfast, served on the terrace. Grocery store right across from the bed and breakfast. (Prefer a room behind the house, the south side is on a fairly busy street).

The rooms are clean and the hosts very friendly. Anyone booking Il Marlo definitely needs a car or should rent bicycles. This is not a problem at all in Carrara.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi did not work and the signal was very weak. We were forced to go outside the room to do some internet searches and, unfortunately, we were surrounded by mosquitoes. Some light bulbs in the room were not working. Other than that, the room was functional and clean for our needs.

Excellent property. It stands out for the large room space and modern, comfortable furnishings. The bathroom is very modern, with a hairdryer and provided with shower gel in the shower, soap bars and liquid soap. There is also a kettle with tea and coffee. The cleanliness is commendable.

Even if only for one night, this is the second time I have visited this establishment, which is very convenient for me as it is not far from the train stations. Considering my brief visits, I make this establishment my ideal place for my use. The room is large and well organized, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is quite comfortable, making Il Marlo an excellent place for quality and price.

In Marina di Carrara for work, I spent two nights at Il Marlo with 4 other colleagues. I found the rooms charming and clean, with a good value for money. The owner also proved to be helpful towards our needs for bed arrangement and flexibility in check-in. Surely if I had to return to this city, I would look for accommodation again in this structure.

Great stay even for just one night. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped bedroom (large screen, free wifi, comfortable bed, independent air conditioning). Bathroom with large shower box, possibility of a coffee in the morning with a coffee machine and pods or a hot tea with kettle. Kindness and courtesy from the manager. Small outdoor patio useful for relaxation and for smokers. The soundproofing of the room needs to be reevaluated (we practically took a shower together with the neighboring family in the room at 7 in the morning). I highly recommend this property for the excellent value for money.

I found myself very well in the new, clean, and comfortable structure. The only negative note concerns the neighbors, unfortunately, my room was communicating with another one, so noisy neighbors. The managers are friendly and helpful, a thank you also to Elena who accompanied me to the station. Definitely recommend Il Marlo. Cristina.

The courtesy of the owners - the very close-knit Antonella and Carlo - is the best business card for a modern, well-furnished structure that is ideal for a few days of relaxation. The small veranda where you can eat, relax, or play cards, the air conditioning, the large shower, and the convenient parking are some of the most pleasant elements of the holiday.\n\nA friendly and discreet context, in a very convenient location (just a few minutes by car) to go to the beaches of Carrara and Massa or - why not - to savor the scents and flavors of the Lunigiana hinterland.\n\nThe prices, if compared to the nearby Versilia, are undoubtedly reasonable and fair.\n\nThe flaws? Few and not substantial: elusive wi-fi, dancing coffee machine, cleaning done at slightly different times.

Excellent structure, modern style furnishings with extensive use of marble and LED lights. Very livable, spacious areas. Very large and well-equipped bathroom. Kitchen fully equipped, spacious wardrobe, and bedside tables with large drawers. Television with wall-mounted swivel support, excellent while eating at the table and in the evening when in bed. The structure is convenient to small markets or large supermarket chains, convenient to the center and various nearby centers, convenient to pharmacies, restaurants, pizzerias, rotisseries, and so on. Rating well above average and absolutely deserved.

The structure is brand new, the room we stayed in was really spacious, very clean and well furnished. The breakfast, excellent both in quantity and quality, was served to us in the garden. In relation to the quality of the service, the price is low. The owners, Carlo and Antonella, besides being very helpful (for example, we were very late for check-in but there was no problem) and professional, are simply exceptional. It is a pity to have stayed for a short time. We will definitely return.
