Al Vicoletto – A simple place, just the way we like it
We are Laura and Maurizio, and for almost ten years we’ve been welcoming people to this corner of Tortolì with simplicity and care.

At Al Vicoletto you’ll find three quiet, bright rooms in a peaceful alley of the old town. Restaurants, shops, and the main square are all just a short walk away.

There’s a private courtyard for parking, a patio for relaxing, and reliable Wi-Fi for those working remotely or staying connected.

If you want to explore Tortolì or the coast, you can rent a bike directly from us.

Breakfast is available on request, prepared with local products — a slow, gentle start to your day.

We’re happy to share honest tips about what to do, where to go, and what to eat. No big speeches, just a real chat.

We speak Italian, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. But most of all, we enjoy talking with people.

Our tour manager made a wise selection when he chose the Bed & Breakfast managed by Mr. Maurizio Cheri to let me experience living with a Sardinian family. Maurizio and his family were very sociable, and he was a talented chef in the kitchen. Upon my arrival, we jointly outlined my menu for the next seven days of stay. I have only seen a breakfast serving of bananas and oranges served as artfully in his home kitchen as in the best gourmet restaurants. Dinner was equally elegant. His 'hotel' was clean and orderly like his kitchen. My only regret is that I could not stay there longer.

I had a great time. Family atmosphere, kind, you feel at home. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Personally, for a B&B it was too gourmet. But I have nothing else to say. Excellent. I will definitely return.

A life choice Al Vicoletto wasn’t born from a business plan. It was born from a desire. We wanted a place where we could welcome people, share time and stories, live with more slowness and more truth. In 2016, thanks also to many people who believed in us through a crowdfunding campaign, that desire took shape. Since then, many things have changed. We've grown, Laura, Sole, and Francesco have joined the journey. But the soul of Al Vicoletto remains the same: simple, attentive, genuine hospitality. Laura joined in 2020. She’s from Veneto, lived in Mexico, and speaks five languages. But more than that, she brought a quiet strength and a unique perspective that enriches this project every day. We live just a few steps from the rooms, in the heart of Tortolì. Here everything is close, and everything moves at a human pace — through a local dish, a kind word, or a traveler who comes back. We like the idea that those who come here don’t just find a room, but a different way to feel Sardinia.
