Wow, this was the most incredible stay. Borgo Bottaia is so charming and has the most amazing views. I highly recommend spending an evening on the property for the sunset, unforgettable! The location was perfect, close enough to go into Florence for the afternoon but far enough away to get the feel of the Tuscan countryside. We did not have a car and taxis were a bit expensive, however Luigi very kindly helped call taxi services for us. I hope to be back one day!

The setting is very beautiful, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside with a lovely pool. The location is ideal for visiting Florence (about 20 minutes by car). The accommodation is spacious with good bedding, and for breakfast, the essentials are provided. However, several points disappointed us. The accommodation remains rustic and note that the air conditioning is noisy. The shower uncontrollably changes temperature, from hot to cold, then burning or icy. The Wi-Fi connection only works in one room and not in the upstairs bedrooms. Soundproofing is very weak, you can clearly hear the neighbors. It's hard to eat outside because of the many mosquitoes. Also, be careful with the reservation photos: they show accommodations with garden and terrace, but that's not the case for all. For the same price, you risk ending up in a dark accommodation, with only one shared terrace. It is necessary to specify this at the time of booking to benefit from light and a garden with a private terrace. The kitchen, on the other hand, lacks light and is not well equipped, there is no dishwasher or oven, very little crockery available. It's a shame, because the place has potential but there are points to improve.

Beautiful place but: No welcome, they leave the key on the door, you have to manage with a disordered used book. Apartment number 5 without soundproofing, you can hear the neighbor above talking and washing. Breakfast is a scam! There is no breakfast. They ask you to come pick up a piece of bread at the reception except on Sundays. Why not say that there is no breakfast. At least we could organize ourselves. Plumbing problem, there was hot water either in the shower or in the kitchen but not both together. Burned or non-functioning light bulbs. Average cleaning, the fridge was dirty. Dirty and wet under the sink. Wake-up call at 8:30 in the morning by the cleaning lady who sweeps with a metal brush on the floor on the upper floor and doesn't want to know anything. The description of the apartment during booking should be clearer to avoid big disappointments. Beautiful place but pleasure spoiled by all these anomalies.

Apartment Oleander (n. 10) spacious on two floors, very quiet, double bathroom, external courtyard for breakfast/snacks outdoors, for the pool it wasn't the season but it looks spectacular. Perhaps the indoor dining table is a bit small for 5 people and the hob is a bit old-fashioned but these are details that can be overlooked for a short stay. Parking number 2 very convenient just a few steps below the apartments, external pathways and children's play area very well maintained, 360° panorama of the Tuscan hills priceless.

Beautiful holiday in this Borgo Bottaia, characteristic and relaxing landscape, clean apartment, kindness and friendliness of the manager. I recommend it to those who want to alternate relaxation and visit to Florence, there is a bus stop 1 km away.

Beautiful location and superb accommodation. What a great job done! The interior of the apartment perfectly matches the architectural style. Lovely large pool with hydromassage. The house (9) stays cool throughout the day (August). The mattresses are firm. It may not be bothersome for everyone, but next time I would bring some kind of mattress topper. There is a lot of peace and quiet. As the only one in the family, I didn't have any issues with mosquitoes. A mosquito net or screen is not a luxury. Furthermore, I can recommend everyone to stay in this place. Very relaxing! Top! Had a lovely week and highly recommend!
