We went to Loano for a wedding, and this place really turned our busy weekend into a restful holiday. The house is an amazing refuge, surrounded by flowers, fruit trees and many charming details. We were lucky to visit in June when it is less busy and to receive an upgrade on our room, which we really appreciated. The room had absolutely everything we needed and the bed was super comfy. They also let us check out later. The most exceptional part, however, was the owners themselves. They run this B&B with so much love and care. The breakfast is to die for. It is very tasty, abundant and a true tasting of local flavors. After many chats and stories from the owners they sent us home with an incredible souvenir of home-grown lemons. We just finished making lemon sorbet, limoncello and other sweets with those lemons. Everything is absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. Next time we are in the area we will definitely go back.

The hosts are very accommodating, extremely helpful and nice. For breakfast, homemade jam, yogurt, pastries and bread as well as fruit from their own garden are served. The parking is in the courtyard. Our guest room was small but nice.

An old-fashioned welcome that warms the heart: a gem in Loano. We stayed at Casa del Nostromo and can only describe this experience as one of the most beautiful and humane we have ever had. We arrived late and left early, but the impact was so extraordinary that we cannot wait to return. The real difference here is made by the owners: a retired couple with kindness and gentleness from another era. Their concept of hospitality is the "old-fashioned" model, now rare: the guest is on holiday, should rest, feel well and be pampered. Extraordinary helpfulness. From the very beginning they were more than kind. We had requested an early check-in and they did everything possible to accommodate us. Then, due to an unforeseen event, the third person who was supposed to travel with us could no longer come: not only did they change our room (initially booked as a triple), but they also lowered the price. As if that were not enough, on the day of departure we had a serious problem with the car that delayed our plans; their response? No problem, in fact, they were sincerely sorry for our setback. On arrival we discovered that, because it was available, they had reserved one of the most beautiful rooms for us. Spacious, very clean, cool, bathroom also large, complete with towels and soaps, minibar with a note to mark what you took. The owners are constantly present and available of their own accord: extremely flexible with timing; when you go out you leave the key inside and upon returning they are immediately there, ready to welcome you back with a smile at any hour. We do not know how they manage to always be so alert and active! The property and breakfast: an oasis of relaxation. The property is a splendid retro-style villa immersed in greenery, among olive trees and lemon plants, situated in a slightly hilly area. The garden is furnished with small tables, chairs and sun loungers, perfect for relaxing in the breeze. The location: it is not in the immediate vicinity of the chaos of the seafront (it is about 600 meters away, with a very slight and manageable uphill on the return from Loano town center), which is a huge advantage: it allows you to escape the summer heat and sleep in absolute silence. Facilities: there is internal parking, and the owner is always ready to open the gate for you. Additionally, the property is absolutely pet friendly. Breakfast: a magical moment. You choose from a very rich list: yogurt, juices, biscuits, but above all homemade bread, special artisanal jams and the cake of the day, whose story the owners lovingly tell you. A special farewell. The warmth and generosity of these people stay with you. Before leaving they even said goodbye to us by giving us the breakfast cookies and some enormous untreated lemons picked directly from their trees. We were truly lucky to find this place. Highly recommended to anyone looking not just for a bed but for a piece of heart and genuine humanity. Thank you for everything!

We stayed at this wonderful property on December 13 and 14. We had a great time. The place was spotlessly clean, personally cared for by the owners down to the smallest details. Calling the breakfast "excellent" would be an understatement, with homemade jams and cookies made by the very kind landlady, as well as homemade bread and many other delicious items. The host was extremely helpful; we asked him about the history of the property and he explained why it is called "Nostromo", and he also recommended places for dinner. In short, it was a pleasant surprise and we will definitely return to this little corner of paradise.

Accommodation fortunately located a little away from the chaotic center, which can still be reached on foot in ten minutes. It is a place very suitable for people who appreciate the simple and infinitely beautiful things in life, such as a lovely garden, fruit trees and a beautiful panorama that brings you back to peace. The hosts are simply wonderful, they made us feel at home. The owner picked us up at the station with his car and showed us everything about the place,including its history. The hostess takes incredible care of the breakfasts: homemade bread and jams and wonderful attention to table presentation 😍. Two delightful people, highly recommended for people with a soul ❤️.

We stayed at this property for 2 weekends during which we were able to appreciate not only the wonderful hospitality of the "Nostromo" and his wife, but also the magnificent breakfast! This is absolutely one of the best breakfasts I have ever tasted, not just because of the vast and careful preparation, but also because everything is made strictly with what the fruit trees seasonally provide (including jams)! I also recommend it for those who do not want just the sea, but want to find a corner of Loano to relax and listen to stories from other times!

Beautiful location immersed in greenery, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees, where you can savor a relaxing atmosphere of times gone by, where everything is very well cared for. Excellent breakfasts completely organic, handmade by Mrs. Daniela. Kindness, friendliness, and cleanliness guaranteed. Highly recommended.

Spacious and functional room, well furnished and with a constantly stocked fridge. Very useful mosquito nets on all windows. The only downside is the very small bathroom. Abundant breakfast in the garden with homemade products. Oasis of peace, immersed in greenery, the sea can be reached with a 20-minute walk. For access by car, it's best to contact the owners, as the road is really narrow and it's best to follow a certain route.

A structure that truly resembles the farmhouses of grandparents. I lived in the past for a while, with almost all the comforts for the present. I can only speak well of this structure and the two managers, who have always been very kind.

I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast with my wife for a summer weekend. This is a true Bed and Breakfast where the owners make themselves available to guests to make them feel at home. At any time, you will find someone who greets you cordially. The B&B is located inland but is no more than 15 minutes from the sea, which can be reached by a nice walk through a characteristic alley that tells the rural history of the Loano countryside. Regarding arrival by car, it is better to have the owners explain how to get there, as driving along the aforementioned road risks having to reverse to give way to other cars going downhill, and it is very narrow despite being two-way. As for the rooms, the one assigned to us was very essential, furnished without frills but very tidy and giving a sense of attention to detail. There is no TV, but I think it's intentional. The view is truly enviable and is left to the guests. Breakfast served in the garden is very rich and completely meets guests' requests. I recommend it.

Relaxing place, you can reach the sea with a walk. Courteous and kind hosts... you are their guests but it feels like being at home.

Breakfast is a revelation, which manifests the intimate, warm dialogue that the managers entertain with the guests. Almost a secular religion, a belief, which is embodied in a finely laid table. The "two ways" of being, between those who choose "homemade" things and those who do not, equally offered with love and equal consideration. I spent four days in total relaxation, very hospitable managers, excellent breakfast and clean room. The structure is about 1.5 km from the sea but the walk is pleasant. We will definitely come back.

Located about 10 minutes walk from the center of Loano, it is an oasis of tranquility and peace, completely immersed in nature. Framed in a beautiful garden where you can breathe nature in a perfect alchemy of sounds, scents, and colors, this property is ideal for those who want to live between what the past has left and the near future: breakfast in the morning is a surprise thanks to the delicious cakes that unexpectedly set the table, combined with the sweetness of brioches and jams; the day can be spent at the sea or in other places connected to Loano, for enthusiasts, I would suggest the ancient Via Julia Augusta; in the evening, you can savor the velvety breeze that blows lightly among the garden plants and slowly delivers us to Morpheus, perhaps after a good read or a pleasant chat. The rooms are pleasantly cozy, clean, and tidy, they have the flavor of the houses from a time that struggles to leave the past but wants to project itself into the future: in fact, they are adorned with paintings that have a lot to tell for those who can read them and you can see how ancient objects have great modernity inherent in them. Casa del Nostromo evokes the sea and everything related to it. It's a place to live and breathe!

My husband and I stayed at this property over the first of May weekend. Delightful, well-kept, and with a beautiful garden. It's a bit far from the center, but you can easily walk there in less than 10 minutes. The room is clean and also equipped with a mini bar; there is no TV, but you can still watch it in the adjacent common area. The only downside is the Wi-Fi coverage, which is almost non-existent. We suggest investing more in Wi-Fi coverage since even the cell phone signal is weak inside the room. For this reason, we don't give the highest rating, otherwise, everything was really top-notch. The breakfast is rich, genuine, and very well taken care of by the owner, who offers her daily homemade products. If the weather is nice, it is served in the garden. We highlight the availability, friendliness, and kindness of the owners who also gave us a very welcome small gift! Highly recommended.

Located in a quiet and residential area, you can enjoy an excellent view and extreme peace. Excellent breakfasts and the owners are the Top, I highly recommend it.

Splendid! An old house, kept with love, with a fantastic garden where you can relax and have breakfast (excellent breakfast with homemade jams, bread, and pastries) and if you want, in just 10/15 minutes on foot with a quiet walk, you can reach the city center and the sea. Highly recommended place to escape from the city frenzy, and be pampered by the splendid owners who are always happy to give some advice (on the excellent restaurants tried and any trips), without ever being intrusive. Very clean room, furnished with some antique pieces, and equipped with a small private bathroom. I highly recommend it!

We chose Casa del Nostromo by reading the reviews, I confirm all the reviews. Breakfast is very rich with genuine things prepared by the managers, attention to detail, beautiful stylized napkin holders. Our room was not large, but there were 2 of us plus the 2 girls, so an additional third bed is a camping cot, definitely much better in 2. The room is beautiful, clean, attention to detail, the bathroom clean, comfortable, equipped with a washing machine. The only thing missing I don't say the air conditioner, but maybe the ceiling fan. There is the possibility to hang out the stuff outside. We also used the pool located in the courtyard and had lunch at the table in the garden. Very kind and helpful managers. There is even the possibility of preparing grilled meat, they provide you with firewood on request. The location is not exactly close to the sea, you have to go there by car, also because then you would have to return on the uphill road, but there is silence and fresh air along with the songs of owls and crickets. Keys are not given. The managers come to open at any time of day and night, it has never happened to me... I don't find it comfortable at all, because every time we felt sorry to bother the manager also because we returned late in the evening. It is definitely a good structure for those who appreciate genuine things and the hill air.

We stayed one night in this beautiful property. Angela welcomed us, very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast and splendid garden. The feeling I had was that of feeling at home. Very quiet place and a few steps from the sea and the historic center. I would recommend it.

We gave a stay to my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. They really enjoyed it: the structure is very welcoming, the location peaceful and surrounded by greenery. My husband and I have just spent two nights at the Bed and Breakfast Casa del Nostromo this past weekend. A very beautiful period house, clean and well furnished, cared for in every detail, in a quiet location, with a large and beautiful equipped garden and the possibility to have breakfast under the pergola of vines and kiwi plants. It is a 15 minutes walk from the beach, giving the opportunity for a pleasant stroll, easily done in slippers. The hosts are very kind, friendly and always available. The breakfast is excellent and varied, based on delicious cakes cooked daily by Mrs. Daniela, jams and yogurts always prepared by her: a kind of pampering to start the day with gusto! We plan to return as soon as possible and highly recommend it! Rating: 10 in all aspects!

The B&B is a charming historic villa surrounded by a splendid garden with plants whose fruits, in the skilled hands of the hostess, are transformed into delicious jams for breakfast served with warm bread, cakes, and homemade cookies under a porch illuminated by the morning sun. I stayed at this B&B last weekend with my husband. We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with a lovely vintage decor. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-kept. It is located 3 to 4 minutes away from the beach and the city center, in a very quiet side street. There is a beautiful garden with lemons, pomegranate, olive trees, and vines. We had an excellent breakfast under the porch with fantastic jams made by the hostess, crepes with Nutella, and fantastic cookies, always made by the lady with an old family recipe. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we were just passing through, but we will definitely return.
