Fabio is a thoughtful host very kind and helpful. Villa Albonico is a wonderful place with an incredible view on lake Como from the balcony of the room. We recommand strongly this place to enjoy the visit of the area by car, boat or as pedestrian (a lot of nice trails in the surroundings).

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Albonico, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Fabio and Isabetta were the perfect hosts, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The villa itself is a true gem—charming, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Como that made every morning a delight. The house and the grounds were kept immaculate throughout the duration of my stay, which only added to the overall sense of tranquility. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, capturing rustic Italian charm. Breakfasts were a highlight, with homemade croissants and a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. There were also a number of fruit trees and a lovely vegetable garden that added a special touch.\n\nLeaving was genuinely difficult, and I already know I will be returning on my next trip to Lake Como. Thank you very much, Fabio and Isabetta, for making my stay so memorable.

My stay at Villa Albonico was spectacular, to say the least! The views were incomparable from my room and from the breakfast area. Fabio was also incredibly helpful in giving recommendations for dinner, sights, and even helping me find the bus. Villa Albonico is a must-stay bed & breakfast if you are planning to go to Como.

The best thing about the property is Fabio (the manager) presence. He is helpful, friendly, professional, always present, and taking care of every detail.\n\nAlthough my family and I were there during a very hot weather which nobody can control, Fabio's way of doing things cannot but be appreciated.

Fabio and his partner were great hosts. We would definitely stay there again if going to Lake Como. Beautiful views from the B&B and also the walks to the restaurants and bars. Fabio also gave us a ride to the train station on our last day to make sure we made it on time. It was perfect.

We only stayed for one night on the way back from our holidays in Italy. Fabio welcomed us very friendly and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Villa Albonico cannot be reached by car directly so you have to be aware that there will be some steps before arriving. However, finding a free parking was pretty easy and the way to walk was not too long. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast on the terrace of Villa Albonico with lake view was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location but the price/quality ratio is not proportional. What you get does not correspond to the photos: to get to the B&B, you really have to climb a lot of stairs and be in good physical condition. The breakfast buffet is not what is depicted and described; if you want ham or an egg or... you have to pay extra. So breakfast is basic.

Villa Albonico is located in Laglio, in an ancient and picturesque neighbourhood, about 10 km from the township of Como.

It's ideally located at only 4 km from motorway (exit: Como Lago) and it's connected with regular buses to/from Como and Menaggio

An highly recommended experience it's a boat cruise to Bellagio and the upper lake, boarding at the nearby Carate Urio pier.

Accessible walks or more challenging itineraries can be undertaken starting directly from the B&B.
