Curo personalmente le camere e la pulizia, il mio standard è una semplice domanda: io vorrei dormire in questa stanza? Mi spiace se qualche rumore ha disturbato il vostro soggiorno, di solito ricevo commenti positivi sulla silenziosità delle camere. Ho controllato il calendario delle prenotazioni e non mi risultano altri ospiti nella stanza accanto nel periodo di soggiorno, l'unica possibilità resta che il rumore sia arrivato dal piano superiore, dove abita una persona di solito molto silenziosa, ma ci sta l'eccezione, di cui mi scuso personalmente.

I stayed at Nido degli Olivi for the Carnival of Viareggio. The two rooms (one family and the other for two people) are located on the ground floor of a small villa, in a green, quiet and peaceful environment. They both have independent access to ensure maximum privacy. The property is surrounded by a large garden, and there is internal parking. It is certainly the ideal place to visit Lucca, Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi and combine relaxation with the holiday spirit. Gina, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. Starting this summer, there will also be a space for barbecue/drinks in the garden and a kitchen available. The presence of only two rooms guarantees intimacy, confidentiality and peace.

We were guests of Gina and her husband, during the Barter Week, in exchange for a holistic treatment for both. The welcome was excellent, we immediately felt pampered by the owners. The room was clean, super cute and tidy. In the morning, we really enjoyed the breakfast in their kitchen exchanging a few words and getting recommendations on places to visit during the day. We only stayed one night at this B&B, a 10-minute drive from the center of Viareggio, but it was a pleasant experience. It is a fairly dated house located in a residential area, which has converted a couple of ground floor rooms by renovating them: ours was spacious and clean. We were welcomed by the very kind and helpful Gina, who will also advise you on what to see in the area! Breakfast is served directly in the room at an agreed time, and is really very rich, with sweet and savory options. The only flaw of the structure is the temperature of the room: being a house with many years, the walls probably do not retain heat well, so we had to keep the air conditioner on all the time, otherwise it would cool down in no time. I definitely recommend it if you are passing through the area.

I booked both rooms at 'Il Nido fra gli Olivi' property, comfortable and easy to reach just a few kilometers from the highway. Upon arrival, the owner Gina welcomed us, letting us park the car in the internal parking and escorted us to the room, which is very spacious and equipped with all comforts, including a small fridge to use if needed and a tea corner. The second room, where three people stayed, is also very spacious and has a walk-in closet. Excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to visit nearby, also excellent are the sweets she prepares for breakfast. Courteous and always available, if I happen to go to the area again, I will definitely contact her. Highly recommended!

In fact, after the first day we went directly to the bar. The main flaw is that the room is very dark, there is little lighting even inside and the mattress is too soft. Unfortunately, I had back pain for three days. I couldn't sleep.

Dopo 9 unni una recensione negativa ci sta. Dispiace che niente sia stato detto al momento perché magari qualcosa avremmo potuto fare per migliorare l'esperienza di soggiorno. Il Nido non può certo competere con hotel di lusso, né vuole farlo, ma cerchiamo di offrire una colazione speciale, con prodotti freschi e di qualità, tanto che, a conti fatti, il costo è pari alla spesa. La posizione dell'alloggio è in un paese circondato dal verde, con i principali servizi a pochi passi. Molti ospiti ne apprezzano la quiete lontano dai rumori del traffico e anche la comodità dei letti, ma è una questione di gusti soggettiva sui quali non si può discutere. Ringrazio per l'ottimo voto dato alla pulizia, in tempi di pandemia credo sia davvero importante la cura prestata a questo aspetto.

The environment is extremely clean and cared for in the smallest details, we were welcomed very well and made immediately comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, varied and beautifully presented. We were pleasantly surprised by some attentions reserved for us (not to be revealed). We were provided with information on where to eat local products and not in places that are not extremely touristy (excellent). Ideal also for children, where they can climb without danger in the huge garden of Olives. The peculiarity of this structure is that it is managed by a person who puts in a lot of passion and is very attentive to details and makes the stay something truly special.

I went for the Carnival of Viareggio, I found myself very well. Like a royal palace, simple but refined in the smallest details, order and cleanliness get a 10. Compliments from Marco and Caterina.

It is truly a nest in every sense. The place inspires tranquility, peace, protection, and serenity. It is cared for in every detail, spotlessly clean or rather one could say clean on clean. What you see in the photos does not do justice to the reality. Getting to the sea is a moment, but here you are immersed in nature. The breakfast is more than abundant. In short, it is a real nest.

If you are looking for a "real" B&B, for availability and courtesy, for attention to detail and also to be a little "pampered" by the managers, this is the place for you! The room is very nice: spacious and carefully decorated. At breakfast nothing is missing and Gina, who manages the place, is a very helpful person and full of attention. We stayed in this B&B for a few days and I must say that we really felt at home. It is highly recommended for those looking for a quiet place, but in a strategic position to visit Versilia.
