Fantastic 10-day stay. Trulli Ulivo was a beautiful country sanctuary. Our hosts, Orazio and Mariatheresa, were excellent. They really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. The property is well located for exploring the sights of Puglia. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great central location for visiting Puglia's attractions. Very quiet village only a few kilometres from charming and underrated Cisternino, one of the few places not yet overrun by tourists (like ourselves :-)). Beautifully renovated trullo, very private and comfortable. Great hosts who went out of their way to assist with any needs. Highly recommended.

Our stay in the Ulivo Trullo was outstanding. The Trullo was spotless and extremely well designed. The interior was nicely decorated and the lighting was modern and perfect for the space. Orazio and Mariateresa are exceptional hosts. They are very attentive to all the details and are eager to help with any needs or questions. The location of our Trullo was perfect for exploring all the main towns and beaches, and being only 5 minutes from Cisternino was great so we could have dinner easily in one of the valley's most picturesque towns. A beautiful and filling breakfast each morning was another bonus. We highly recommend staying here for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure in the Puglia countryside.

We booked 2 apartments for 8 people for 4 nights, which were ideal and comfortable for everyone, equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We had a rich and delicious breakfast. The wonderful and peaceful environment recharged us all, we would be happy to return anytime, we loved this place! It was also an excellent choice in terms of price-value, we visited the attractions of the area from here. We stayed in a comfortable and clean 'trulli' for 3 nights. The property is run by an enthusiastic couple and it shows. They make you feel welcome and assist in every way they can. It is close to visit Valle d'Itria and its cities. It has many animals on site, nice for small children. We loved our stay.

The location was perfect for us, great for walking and visiting surrounding villages/towns/beaches. The accommodation was very comfortable, spacious and super clean. Orazio and his family were all very friendly and helpful. They gave us advice on touring the region and lent us bikes with the registered routes in the GPS so we wouldn't get lost! That was great! The trullo was very nice and cool, which we really appreciated after spending the day outside. We also had the sweet surprise of finding cherries from the garden (the best ever) left for us on the terrace! Also, the breakfast was so good with homemade jam that we will not forget. Thank you! A place a bit away from the city, but not very far and very quiet. Very friendly welcome.\nAccommodation in an authentic and charming place. Maybe a bit dark, but that’s the typical traditional dwelling that requires it.\nOur child really enjoyed the presence of farm animals (horses, peacock, duck, hen, cats, rabbits)\nBreakfast à la carte to take to the room or outside on tables: good and plentiful.\nI recommend it unless you want to be in the city to go eat on foot (car needed).

Orazio and his family are smiling, very welcoming and discreet. They invite us to fully enjoy the accommodation and services (bicycles available and outdoor kitchen). The nearby pizzeria run by his parents is quiet, family-friendly and very convenient. During our stay, we had an administrative issue: Orazio offered to take care of it to let us enjoy our holidays. A pool is missing but the sea is very close! Quality accommodation and hospitality.

We stayed here in June 2019 for 6 days (way too short) and found it ideal. Orazio and Mariateresa have created a little paradise for themselves, their animals, and their guests. They have renovated and maintained the property with the utmost care for every detail. The large apartment is ideal for a family. The rooms are more spacious than they appear in the photos. There is a front courtyard with a table and chairs under a sunshade and surrounded by beautiful plants, an entrance with a sink where you can also cook, a living room and from there accessible 2 separate bedrooms in Trulli, 1 with single beds, 1 with a double bed, and a nice bathroom. All rooms are equipped with mosquito screens. We slept in the Trulli like marmots. All rooms are always pleasantly cool thanks to the thick stone walls - air conditioning is unnecessary. The location of the property in Caranna is also ideal, on the edge of the hill to the Idria valley with pleasant cool air in the evening - and close to well-known places like Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca or Ostuni and at the same time close to the Adriatic coast, so you get to the sea more quickly (15 minutes by car) than from these places. Caranna is also a beautiful, still rural village. The hosts also run a very good and affordable pizzeria next to their house at a sports facility. The place becomes completely unique thanks to the hosts Orazio and Mariateresa - a young couple, both constantly and very diligently take care of everything and also of the well-being of their guests, provide every information, ensure a great breakfast with fresh fruits and homemade cakes and show an incomparable trust in their vision and their guests. We would also like to mention their dog Lillo - he also follows everything that happens very attentively, but always unobtrusively, like a good spirit of the property. I want to thank all of you for a very special stay!

Charming place. I stayed with two friends in this beautiful and peaceful masseria in the countryside among olive trees and trulli. An excellent base to visit and discover the whole Valle d'Itria. The apartment, spotless, spacious and comfortable, reflects the atmosphere of the past with today's conveniences. The excellent and abundant breakfast, prepared in a small and delightful trullo and eaten in the apartment, ranges from sweet to savory with fresh local products. The warm welcome, availability and friendliness of Orazio and his partner help make the stay pleasant and homely. Unfortunately we only stayed two nights and the weather was not very kind, but it deserves a longer stay to enjoy the beautiful outdoor spaces and the tranquility of the place. A wonderful structure run by wonderful people. Sleeping in the trullo was a very nice experience. The courtyard with the animals is beautiful. Unfortunately, the weather did not help us, but Orazio and Maria Teresa did everything possible to make us have an Apulian evening by organizing a delicious dinner for us in a family environment, even more than that. The structure is beautiful and well-kept: you stay in modernized, warm, and welcoming trulli, with rustic-style furnishings that fit well with the context. Orazio, the manager and owner of the structure, welcomed us and immediately proved to be a polite and affable person. His wife is also friendly and kind, always available to the guests. The breakfast is appropriate and adequate, previously agreed upon before the stay. In conclusion, this structure is recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in the peace and tranquility of the countryside of a lively Apulian village like Cisternino. We will definitely choose the Masseria Trulli sull'Aia again!

Great location to visit the Itria Valley and also reach the sea. A lovely small farmhouse with trulli equipped with all comforts. There are also animals. The breakfast is excellent and can be enjoyed both in the room and outdoors. Very friendly and helpful managers. We had a great time. I absolutely recommend it.

It was truly a pleasant discovery. The property is in a strategic position to visit the locations of the Valle D'Itria. The B&B is small but well-kept and is located in a very quiet area surrounded by the greenery of the countryside. It is pet-friendly, and animals are welcome. The trullo is truly characteristic, well-furnished internally with everything necessary for a really pleasant stay. The owners are always available, very kind, and they do not let you lack anything. Walking early in the morning among the animals of the farm and occasionally feeding them is something simple but wonderful that I missed since I was a child. I will definitely return in case of future holidays in Puglia. Thank you for the hospitality.

We stayed at the end of August in this beautiful structure. Our room, the trullo "Ulivo", presented a perfect combination of tradition and modernity: equipped with every comfort, spacious, very clean and very charming. The structure is located relatively close to the town of Cisternino and is practically equidistant from many tourist destinations (Ostuni, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare). Furthermore, it offers a lot of services (such as the sports center) and hosts several animals. The owners were very kind and helpful and every morning the proposed breakfast was very good.

Staying at this Masseria was like being at home! Orazio and Mariateresa along with their twins will always remain in our hearts. We dreamed of Puglia for several years, but I discovered something even more extraordinary...the Masseria Trulli Sull'Aia! It is a special place immersed in the countryside where the wind, the fig trees, the horses, and the colors of the land made me relive my childhood in Sicily. The superb breakfast, the availability of the owners, and their infinite cordiality and kindness. Relaxation, tranquility, peace just a step away from the sea, immersed in an unforgettable Valle d'Itria. In our trullo, the Pero, everything was perfect, clean, and always fresh. I stayed at this B&B from Friday 07.06 to Sunday 09.06.2024, together with my partner, my 2-year-old son, and a dear friend. What can I say, I had a great time. The place is easily accessible, offers the possibility to park the car inside the structure, in the courtyard there is a real courtyard (horses, rabbits, ducks, chickens, a peacock, cats…) with plenty of greenery and all well maintained. Furthermore, it is quite isolated and therefore allows you to relax and rest (for those who also have these needs) without problems. Additionally, next to it, there is a sports center with paddle and soccer fields (which allow those who wish to engage in sports activities). The apartments are essentially trulli, small but well-kept and equipped with the necessary amenities. Orazio, the owner, was very kind, courteous, and very helpful, meeting all our needs: initially we had booked for two people plus the little one, then a few days before we asked to add another bed and we were accommodated without any problems; initially we had booked for 3 nights, which due to unforeseen circumstances we had to reduce to 2 and even here we were only charged for the 2 nights without any problem; on the morning of departure, we had to leave the apartment very early (at 7.00) and yet Orazio still had breakfast ready for us. Also regarding breakfast, Orazio asked us in advance what we preferred, making sure we got exactly what we asked for (from pasticciotti to yogurt, from focaccia to scrambled eggs…). Furthermore, Orazio, having twin sons, allowed my child to use their children's toys without any issues (from tricycle to cart, etc.). Price absolutely affordable for the place and services offered. In conclusion, I can say that I was fully satisfied and therefore, if asked, I would say: “Absolutely recommendable!”.

We stayed for 2 nights with 4 people, the owner Orazio is a very courteous and helpful person (at the time of booking he did not require any deposit). The Trullo was extremely clean and adequately heated, with a rich and quality breakfast (both savory and sweet). The property is located in Cisternino, a place that allows you to visit wonderful villages just a few kilometers away like Alberobello, Locorotondo, Martinafranca. Parking available, excellent value for money in the end (255.00 euros for all 4, breakfast included).

We stayed at this property for a week and slept inside a trullo, truly delightful and equipped with every comfort. The whole place was surrounded by animals like horses, geese, peacocks, and chickens, which were almost always very well kept in their enclosures. Furthermore, Masseria Trulli sull'Aia also has a small garden for having breakfast or relaxing in the evening on hammocks, surrounded by plum and fig trees always available to the guests. Horace, the owner, was very kind and available for advice and to meet our every request. We really recommend it.

Ai nostri ospiti facciamo scegliere, prima del loro arrivo, attraverso un form on-line cosa gradiscono a colazione. In modo da offrire una colazione "mirata", con roba sempre fresca, senza sprechi e in massima sicurezza. Nel menu della nostra colazione offriamo oltre 20 prodotti tra dolce e salato (biscotti locali, torta fatta in casa, yogurt artigianale, salumi locali, focaccia, friselline, uova, pane fresco ogni mattina, dolci da una pasticceria artigianale etc.....) Se durante il soggiorno si vuol cambiare qualcosa lo si comunica direttamente a noi o tramite messaggi. Non ricordiamo, negli ultimi anni, di aver avuto MAI un voto sulla colazione inferiore all'8/9 (con una media che si avvicina più al 10) Forse a lei il sistema della nostra colazione non è stato abbastanza chiaro (ma poteva dircelo quando era qui, quando le chiedevamo se fosse tutto ok). Non crediamo di meritare un 3 e lo testimoniano tutti i nostri clienti. Grazie comunque per la sua recensione

We stayed 6 days at this property. Saying 'a dream' would be too little. We were hosted in a recently renovated trullo, excellently furnished and exceptionally clean. Everything, from the bedroom to the bathroom, met our expectations. The property is surrounded by greenery and the location is strategic if you want to visit the entire Itria Valley and the sea (we were halfway between Ostuni and Alberobello, but at the same time, 15 minutes from the sea). The breakfast impressed me, rich and made with local raw materials, produced by the owners of the property or coming from bakeries and pastry shops in the area. Our stay was magical, and we must definitely thank Orazio and his wife, kind and always available people. Thank you, if there will be an opportunity, we will definitely come back. Congratulations.

Typical structure very well maintained. Our 'Limoni' trullo was large and tastefully furnished. New bathroom. It is important to point out how on hot days the trullo naturally stays cool. Common spaces and garden are spacious and well-kept. There are many animals (horses, rabbits, chickens, dog and cats) which are an attraction for children. There is also a paddle court and a soccer field. Due to the covid emergency, breakfast is no longer served buffet-style (rightly), but after filling out a form and stating your tastes and preferences, every morning you will find a personal box in the trullo specifically set up for breakfast. The latter has always been varied and plentiful with fresh homemade sweets, typical sweets from the nearby pastry shop, Apulian focaccia, frisella, special cookies, yogurt from the nearby dairy, fresh fruit (and the possibility to request many other things that we were not interested in). Orazio and Mariateresa are young, hospitable, genuine people, attentive to all requests and present in the structure for anything/information. The location of the structure is excellent to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside but at the same time very close to the center of Cisternino and equidistant from all the other points of interest in the Itria Valley. My children didn't want to leave, we hope to come back soon! Ottavia and Luigi.

Beautiful Masseria Trulli sull'Aia a few minutes from Cisternino, in a perfect position to visit the whole Valle d'Itria in addition to the cities. Our room (the "Ulivo" trullo) was perfectly clean, welcoming, very well furnished, with great services and accessories. Also, the little garden at the entrance is splendid, just like everything around the property. Breakfast with delicious local and genuine products. The owners Orazio and Maria Teresa are very helpful, kind, and make you feel immediately at home, as well as offering excellent advice on walking/cycling routes and places to visit. We hope to be able to come back because we really enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Masseria Trulli sull'Aia from August 21st to 28th, 2021. Orazio, the manager, was very helpful from the beginning and throughout our stay, providing valuable information on less crowded beaches and places to visit (all the towns of the Itria Valley are at most 25 minutes away by car). The "Limoni" trullo where we stayed is carefully furnished, clean, with a large outdoor space where we had breakfast. We never felt hot despite the high external temperatures, and in the evening there was a pleasant cool breeze. We found it very convenient to choose from different breakfast products every morning (via a questionnaire sent to us before our stay) and the quality of the products offered. Orazio also provides bicycles with a navigator upon request to explore the valley and is available for a trekking in the nearby forest (we will take advantage of it next time). We appreciated the whole context in which the masseria is located, including the pleasant company of the animals. We recommend it to those who, like us, want to spend a holiday in peace, yet close to the sea and many villages worth visiting. We will definitely return if we happen to pass through this magnificent land again. Ale and Bea.

Outstanding combination of the charm of the trulli of Valle d'Itria and the comfort of a structure equipped with all the amenities! Unmissable breakfasts on the lawn in the cool of the trees, with the possibility of choosing between homemade sweets and jams or bakery and pastry products. The farmhouse is located a few minutes by car from the sea and a few km from the main villages of the Valley. Orazio and his family will welcome you to their farmhouse making you feel at home!

When the stay is more than pleasant, there is little to say. The structure is very characteristic, attention to detail, it turns out to be an oasis of peace. Extremely helpful managers, impeccable cleanliness and very good and abundant breakfast. One aspect not to be underestimated, being a B&B, is the possibility of frequent linen change, morning room tidying and the courtesy kit in the bathroom. Unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended!

Structure set in the typical landscape of Valle d'Itria, very well-kept and well-maintained, lots of greenery, play area for children, also animals (horses, geese, little dog, kitten). Impeccable cleanliness, the trullo where I stayed was equipped with everything. The laundry smells of fresh laundry! Small well-equipped kitchenette complete with tablecloth, dish towels, apron. In the courtyard in front of the trullo there are sun loungers, table and chairs, umbrella, drying rack, nothing is missing. The managers Orazio, Maria Teresa and the grandparents are simple, exquisite and very helpful people, the twins Sveva and Dario are two splendid children. Super breakfast, well managed and curated despite the current Covid situation. Fresh homemade products. We didn't miss anything during a blackout: Orazio took care to bring us hot cappuccinos directly from the bar. They even provided us with umbrella and sun loungers for the beach. They even made sure to inform me that I had forgotten some pants! I don't know when but we will return.

Staying at this property was truly enjoyable. Horace is a attentive and caring manager towards his guests. Fantastic breakfast. The presence of animals is also a little extra, especially if you are traveling with a child! Very welcome the courtesy set... for the child! Hospitality like this is not always found. A spectacular structure located in the village of Caranna in front of Cisternino. Everything is extremely well cared for by the owner Orazio who is extremely attentive and makes the stay very pleasant. The proposal of the service "let's visit Murgia" was very interesting and I recommend it. Two hours of walking through the woods until you reach the belvedere from which you can admire the descent of olive trees down to the sea which is just a few km from the structure. Val d'Itria is exciting and Masseria Trulli sull'Aia is the ideal point to plan the visit to all the villages. Thank you Orazio and Maria Teresa.

I have visited many Bed and Breakfasts in various places, but the charm of the place and the structure have really satisfied me, so much so that I give it a rating of 10! Very precise and friendly family management. The breakfast is delicious! The structure is new and the trullo we stayed in is stunning! I practically felt at home! Actually, even better! I highly recommend it! There are also animals and horses for those who love them! In short, I am extremely satisfied! Furthermore, the location is great for reaching all the best places by car like Ostuni and Alberobello. What else to say... if you choose another Bed and Breakfast, know that you are making a mistake! A thank you to Masseria! I will definitely return! Oh... Structure, top management. A trullo expertly renovated in the countryside of the Itria Valley. The Olive room is composed of two trulli. Simply furnished but with extreme taste. Equipped with all comforts but without air conditioning because not necessary. The breakfast is exceptional. Products mostly fresh like croissants, cakes, yogurt and organic honey, homemade jams. Everything perfect. We stayed comfortably in five in the Trullo Limone, beautiful, quiet and peaceful, cool (at night a blanket would even be needed), new, very clean, excellent breakfast with local products to choose from, kind and very helpful owners, shaded internal parking. Perhaps, just to nitpick, for lunch a bit more shade in the patio would be needed, but it's really a detail in a perfect structure. Absolutely recommended!

We stayed in the trullo "L'ulivo" for two nights. Fantastic structure and recently renovated, as fantastic as the breakfast room. Orazio and Maria Teresa are very nice and hospitable, preparing homemade cakes every morning and taking great care in sourcing products (bread, yogurt, jams). The outdoor space is also beautiful, the surroundings are very relaxing and a perfect spot to visit Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Polignano, Monopoli and all the lovely villages nearby.

We stayed 1 night in the Lemon trullo. We were 3 adults and a child. We had a great time. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised because it is a beautiful structure, the trullo that was our home for a day, had all the necessary comforts: towels on every bed, plates, glasses, refrigerator, everything in order and very clean. There is also Wi-Fi connection available immediately. The owners are very kind and pleasant. Inside the structure, there are also animals and it was wonderful for us to wake up with rabbits, chickens, horses. Their presence in the courtyard was very pleasing to us as we are nature lovers. The breakfast was also very pleasant, delicious pastries and fresh yogurt to consume. Everything perfect. If we were to come back to those parts, we will definitely call Orazio because the structure is conveniently located to reach the main attractions of the area in no time. Highly recommended.

Extremely positive experience. Characteristic accommodation (Trullo) in a charming place 25 minutes from the sea and 5 minutes by car from Cisternino. Clean, welcoming and above all original being a trullo! Thanks to the welcome and hospitality of the manager and his very nice family. The structure is located in a countryside village and is immersed in nature, with bikes you can freely roam the landscape. I recommend the itineraries suggested by the manager and well illustrated in the rooms. Excellent location to reach: Alberobello, Locorotondo, the Castellana Caves, Ostuni and the crystal clear sea of Puglia, all within a 30-minute drive. For those with children, it's the best! The manager indeed has several animals in the courtyard that will surely attract the attention of the little ones and not.

These are real apartments made from trulli. Completely renovated while maintaining the characteristics of the trullo. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and welcoming. Above the beds, we found towels tied with a raffia string to which a floral arrangement was attached. Perfect cleanliness. The outdoor veranda is beautiful. The breakfast is abundant with various types of cakes, cookies, fruit, croissants, juice, milk, coffee, and yogurt. The location of Masseria Trulli sull'Aia is very convenient for visits to Fasano, Castellana, Ostuni, Locorotondo, and the coast. The courtesy and hospitality of the managers are exemplary. You feel welcomed and pampered like old friends. Excellent in every way.
