Alessandra, the landlady, is absolutely charming and welcoming. The house and garden are beautiful and breakfast is a dream, especially the homemade cakes. We enjoyed our stay very much. Unfortunately, there were many (and aggressive) mosquitoes, so sitting outside, especially in the evening, was quite uncomfortable. The rooms had mosquito nets on the windows, though. We used the bikes of Ca'Barbona (not high quality, but OK for the purpose) to get to the beach. It takes about 15 minutes along a busy street, but the bike path is separate, so it's alright. At the beach, you have the choice between a "free"/"wild" beach and the typical Adria-style beach with sunbeds and umbrellas.

We had an amazing stay at Ca' Barbona and loved our time there. Alessandra is a great host and was always helpful and ready to provide us with recommendations on what to do, eat and drink. Everything was very clean and the breakfast is great. A lot of love is put into this B&B!

Alessandra couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. The property is charming and homely, with easy access to the beach and train station. We upgraded our room to the larger one on the ground floor with its own bathroom. This is at the back of the house rather than the front (if you’re sensitive to occasional road noise as I am). We chose to skip car rental for this leg, so we rented bikes from her (€5 per day) which was great. Also, she really helpfully gave us lifts to and from the local train station. She was so helpful with tips on local attractions and looked up train times for us, saving us some potential time lost with long waits. There was a lovely convivial atmosphere with the hosts and fellow guests; we enjoyed chatting with them all. Breakfast was more of a typical Italian fare, mostly cakes and bread, etc., but we did get scrambled eggs a couple of mornings which helped. There are screens on the windows which was fabulous for fresh air and no mosquitoes. Overall a lovely, friendly, and homely stay!

Best Airbnb we have ever been, the location, the service, the house, the breakfast. Alexandra gave us the tips on where to go and to eat. You feel like staying with friends. I love the sound of the cicadas outside and the beautiful beach close to her house, Lido di Classe. We will absolutely come again!

Charming and whimsical decor, lovely setting. Hosts were great. They were gracious and set us up with bicycles to ride to the beach. Accommodations small but comfortable and clean. Loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely return and recommend to friends.

During our trip we arrived in Parma and Bologna at Alessandra's and stayed for five nights. First of all: It was very nice and Alessandra is a wonderful person and a great host. The property stands out for its individuality, for its almost artistic design. You can feel that someone has put thought into it and also incorporated the history of the house and the area into the B&B. The location was very good for us. We had our own bicycles and explored the area with them. A round trip to the salt pans of Cervia or to the nearby natural beach... everything was no problem. Ravenna - a must for people interested in history and art - is only half an hour away. For all activities, you should always ask Alessandra. She has the very best tips, whether it's the best parking spot or the best trattoria, the best ice cream, the best bar. It's a joy! Our room was very nicely designed and the beds were very comfortable. The refrigerator in the room is priceless. You can also borrow dishes, everything is very uncomplicated. The garden is beautifully designed and there is a small pool for refreshing. The breakfast is also worth mentioning. Everything is very tasty and fresh and made by Alessandra herself. We loved it. If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay at Alessandra's again!

For being a Bed and Breakfast, we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent hospitality, availability, and professionalism. Truly detailed research of the details for a rustic environment but equipped with all comforts. Super rich breakfast for every need. All of excellent quality and local products at zero kilometers, prepared with dedication. Close to Mirabilandia, a few minutes away, and to the sea. Detailed recommendations on restaurants and places to visit where we ate well. Recommended for families with children and without. Surrounded by greenery and, despite being reachable by a main road, no noise at night. The owner is very helpful and prepared. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful place, where the true philosophy for which Bed and Breakfasts were born still exists, like when I go to England. Alessandra and her partner are wonderful and very kind. Slept wonderfully in their beautifully decorated rooms with care and harmony. It's really nice, recommended. A few minutes away there is the sea and at the same time we are in a pine forest. Thank you Alessandro, we will be back in April as already booked.

Cà Barbona is not just a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, it is the cozy home of a friendly family, a large garden with fruit trees and centuries-old plants where you can read in the shade, sunbathe or cool off in the small pool, a trampoline to try new acrobatics, a romantic and quiet room to rest and wake up gently among cicadas and little birds. The breakfast served in the garden is rich in homemade sweets, jams, cereals. The wild Bassona beach reachable by bike is unique and surprising (on the crowded Romagnolo coast), with transparent water and forgotten shells. I hope to come back soon.

A unique place! Alessandra, Mirko and Filippo (their 6-year-old son who made friends with my children after a minute and a half!) have transformed this old farmhouse (a former stable) into their home and a dream B&B. Their hospitality, the choice of furniture and furnishings, some of them vintage, purchased on their travels around the world, make every environment pleasant and relaxing, full of colors and scents. Nothing is already seen, everything surprises you in its original simplicity. Immediately you get the feeling of being comfortable as if you have lived there forever. Our room was very clean and welcoming (a detail: the shower with the blue resin floor and stones that massage your feet!). The breakfast served in the patio is curated in every detail: the dishes, the glass jars with cereals, yogurt, homemade jams and cakes! The garden surrounding the farmhouse is equipped with the most beautiful games, also different from the usual ones: the trampoline, archery, a small pool, football field, and skateboard ramp! And of course the swings and the slide. In short, to experience a holiday of relaxation for you and fun for your children, this is definitely the right place.

Our stay, albeit short, was really very nice. The structure is well-kept in detail, clean, and definitely comfortable. The outdoor space is enjoyable and a treat for children. Alessandra and Mirko, the managers, are truly welcoming and warm people, who made us feel at home. The property offers everything from books to toys for children (their 3-year-old son Filippo is wonderful and shares everything!). But a special mention goes to the breakfast prepared by Alessandra: there is everything, delicious homemade cakes and jams, yogurt, cereals, cookies of all kinds, and always hot coffee! My family and I really thank you!
