This was the third time I’ve stayed here and highly recommend it. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The location is easy to find and provides good access to that part of Tuscany. The accommodations are spotless, comfortably furnished, and have a well-equipped kitchen. There was a leak in the bathroom while we were there which was quickly fixed. Great value for the cost. Strongly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights at a room in the owner's house.\n\nPros: the room was comfortable, very clean, well decorated. The yard is peaceful. Most of the breakfast stuff was tasteful. Close to Siena and other worth-to-visit places/villages (there is no other way but car to visit them).\n\nCons: there wasn't a separate entrance for the room access. We should cross the TV room of the family to go to our room (it wasn't mentioned). They didn't change any sheets or towels. They didn't collect our trash not even once.

Dear Nikolaos, we are happy that you find our room confortable and clean even if you give us only a 7 for it! We are sorry about your disappointement about the entrance, change of towels/sheet and trash. In any case the entrance is private we don't use it, and it is true that you have to pass cross the TV room but no other guests find this as annoying thing indeed that is precisely what is required for a B&B, staying in contact with family, otherwise there are hotels... in the web-site is mentioned that the room is in the same house of owner. Sorry we change towels and sheets only one a week, but in the rules that you could find in the room you could read that if you need you could ask to us and we could change them with an additional payment. We loved our stay at the B&B Palazzo a Merse. From the communication with the host to the room. In the middle of nature, just 10 minutes by car from Siena. We stayed in a garden-level room with a private bathroom. There is a communal garden, and also a small area with a table and chairs in case you want to have your little picnic. They prepare breakfast in the garden at the time you request, everything delicious. Croissants, local pastries, toast, jams, Nutella, butter, coffee, yogurt, cereal, milk and if that is not enough, they also offer you cheeses and cold cuts in case you prefer savory (like my partner). An experience to repeat without a doubt, highly recommended. It also has the swimming pool available.

Lovely place, immersed in a private garden a few kilometers from Siena. The room was large, clean, bright, with an outdoor veranda and easy access to the parking lot. We also really enjoyed the rich breakfast, croissants, yogurt, cereals, and if desired, also cold cuts and cheeses. Courteous and discreet owners but always available if needed. Definitely worth repeating, maybe for more than one night.

I found the structure excellent both for the rooms and the exteriors and for the location that allows you to reach the most interesting places in the area, I would also like to add that the breakfast is really abundant and varied, but above all I was impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the managers, always very nice and helpful. In short, the managers you would always want to find on these occasions and who demonstrate how this is truly their mission. Structure located in a charming place, with a really beautiful garden that pleases the eye and invites relaxation. The only downside, perhaps because I stayed in May and in low season, the exteriors are not so well maintained, dusty tables, chairs not too clean which make it a bit difficult for customers to enjoy them. On the other hand, nice and welcoming managers.

The place is splendid, the Sienese hills are magical, the house is splendid, the rooms and the hospitality are wonderful. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely return.
