In the heart of the enveloping nature of Civate, B&B Al Pozzo stands in an ancient farmhouse recently renovated. Located along the route leading to the magnificent Basilica of San Pietro al Monte, an emblematic example of Romanesque art, our agriturismo is an ideal refuge for those seeking peace and rejuvenation. The proximity to Monte Cornizzolo, renowned for its paragliding launches, along with the climbing cliff nearby, offers unmissable opportunities for trekking and climbing enthusiasts.

Our B&B enjoys a strategic location, with excellent connections to reach charming cities like Milan, Como, Bergamo, and Lecco, the latter famous for its enchanting lake, masterfully described by Alessandro Manzoni. The beauty of the lakes of Como, including Pusiano and Annone, further enriches the natural offerings of the area.

Guests will be welcomed into a serene and family-friendly environment. We are a young couple with two children who share a love for the mountains and nature. Our passion for organic farming is reflected in our garden, where fresh and delicious vegetables grow. Our stable, home to around twenty goats, allows us to produce artisanal cheeses that guests can enjoy during breakfast. The breakfast, rich and varied, includes homemade cakes, creamy yogurt, and organic jams, all served in a lovely setting that invites you to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

For your dinners, the family trattoria "Il Crotto del Capraio" offers typical dishes from the culinary traditions of Brianza and Valtellina, prepared with fresh and local ingredients, for an authentic zero-kilometer gastronomic experience. Here, guests can savor the genuineness of our products, including goat cheese, fresh eggs, and a selection of cold cuts, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

With breathtaking views and a particular attention to detail, Al Pozzo represents the ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of Lake Como and the surrounding mountain trails, while enjoying the comfort of sincere and family-oriented hospitality.

Barbara is an amazing host! She will make you feel like you are visiting home. The place is wonderful, located on a quiet hill with an amazing view of the lake from the garden. The breakfast is delicious and homely. The host will also suggest you about the places to see and visit, trust me take it from her and you will have a wonderful time during your visit. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in this part of the country. Thank you, Barbara, for being so kind and positive! The stay was one of the highlight from the trip :)

We can only recommend this wonderful B & B! Barbara is the best host one could ask for and makes the most delicious breakfast! We spent 2 weeks there with two kids and it never got boring. Barbara had so many good ideas what to visit or where to go swimming/hiking/etc. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Charming rustic accommodation with lovely details. Recommended restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was very rich and delicious. Just before the accommodation there is only a 1.80 meters wide passage. Best to park the car downstairs. Great location for hiking. We felt warmly welcomed by Barbara. Great holiday.

Even though the B&B was not easy to find, we were very pleasantly surprised: beautiful B&B with a great restaurant in the same building, located along a fantastic hiking trail. No, I did not exaggerate; impeccable cleanliness and quality/price ratio hard to beat (with the prices as they are now, 40 euros for two in a decent hostel are not enough; a bunk bed and shared facilities...). The location is unique, at the end of the village of Civate and at the beginning of the path (also well maintained, through woods and shade) that leads to the Monastery of San Pietro al Monte, a masterpiece of medieval art (and more). Civate's location in particular is ideal for touring Lake Como, but in half an hour/an hour you can also reach Bergamo Alta, Como, Monza, Milan (the railway line from Lecco is ideal here), and many other 'minor' places (in practice you can stay there for a week without getting bored). The mountains in the area are perfect for various excursions. Owners ready to solve any (remote) inconvenience. The room was practically a studio in a modern-rustic-alpine style, I felt like I was at a friend's house, in the guest room. AMAZING BREAKFAST, well-cared for, abundant, with many homemade items. Another added touch is the typical tavern (crotto, as they say around here), just below: you eat well (all seasonal, almost always typical of the place), you leave without feeling like something is missing, and the bill is ok. Note that in the room you don't hear any noise from the tavern (and at night there is absolute silence). Important note: a narrow passage in the village does not allow the passage of many current cars (at most the Panda and similar, but no more), so there are free parking spaces reserved for guests, and if needed (rain, heavy luggage) there is a shuttle ready to take you to the B&B. What can I say? I've been to many B&Bs and similar places in half of Europe/the world, and this is one of the absolute top. Thanks to Barbara and her husband, we'll meet again!

Lovely place, just what I was looking for. Large room with kitchenette, essential for us (for the picky child). Having two dogs, we were really happy to find a place that welcomed them without any problems. Possibility to do many things, walks, visit nearby villages, lake, etc. Absolutely recommended! Also 100 points for the breakfast! We will be back!

Beautiful structure, very characteristic, comfortable and well furnished. In my room there were exposed beams, a very comfortable double bed, a kitchen area with a fridge and necessary for cooking, including herbal teas, coffee. The breakfast in the (beautiful) lounge downstairs was spectacular! Everything excellent from savory to sweet. The owners are very courteous, helpful, generous with information, and of great human warmth. The atmosphere is very peaceful and familiar. I would love to go back there. Thank you!

Barbara and her daughter are very welcoming. The room is large and also has a kitchen in the room, good for long stays. Barbara's house is located in the middle of nature, you have to park the car outside the property, but not far. Barbara prepared a wonderful and plentiful breakfast, all very good. We will definitely come back in the summer.

Positively impressed by the landscape, the location, the surrounding nature; having said that, it truly feels like being at a friend's house. Characteristic Bed and Breakfast near Lake Civate, with beautiful walks and an excellent restaurant nearby. The owner was extremely kind in meeting our family needs with a young child, well beyond our expectations. The breakfast is superb, with local and fresh products, varied and very abundant, served in the characteristic porch overlooking the garden.

Excellent in every way! A bit hidden, reachable only by foot (uphill) due to some ongoing works (which will naturally end), but for 25€ you even have a cute double room with a kitchenette. Plasma TV, comfortable bathroom, and Barbara (the owner) is a delightful person. Recommended if you have a loved one hospitalized at 'Al Pozzo' in Bosisio Parini (as happened to me) or in any healthcare facility in the area. It's about a ten-minute walk and saves you from spending at least 80-100 € in the area hotels. P.S. Breakfast is provided, but I didn't have time to have it so I couldn't evaluate it.
