The Tenuta Donna Rosa - WELCOME
Otranto, called the "Gateway to the East" for its oriental charm, is rich in historical, artistic and natural course as the beautiful beaches of Baia dei Turchi and Alimini, they are easy to visit by bicycle, to discover throughout tranquility is the typical landscape of Salento. The vast expanses of olive trees, the typical rural buildings and peasant, sweeten your walks. At about 2 km you will find the beautiful historic city of Otranto.

The Tenuta Donna Rosa is a particularly good place for tourism, a haven of peace in the countryside, away from the hustle of the city and the tourist crowds, yet close to everything that can make your stay more memorable with its cathedral Otranto, Gallipoli with the old town, the beaches and cliffs overlooking the sea, the lakes of the Natural Reserve Alimini with their lakeside landscapes where the sea, penetrating inland, merges with the lakes and creates a unique natural habitat.

The tranquility of the garden available to the B&B with its colors and perfumes, the renovated structure, the friendliness and the atmosphere of the place, allowing you to relax nicely, and organize the free time between sea, nature, art, history, food tasty and discover fine wines from Salento in addition to the typical products that the farm produces such as in particular the extra virgin olive oil.

Guests of the estate have several solutions such as a room with bathroom, room with kitchen and the apartment, for the most demanding and families.

The most beautiful sea close to the wildest nature make the nearby beach of Baia dei Turchi (about 900m) a unique place.

This was such a lovely experience! Everything was perfect: the property is huge (probably around 3000 m²), lots of old trees providing good shade, a beautiful garden and spacious parking (a nice exception in Italy). The mother-daughter team managing the B&B, the cats and the dog were all very attentive and made sure everyone felt welcome and at home. The breakfast was delicious: fresh fruits from the garden, homemade cakes and coffee you can't get enough of. The location is magnificent! You can walk a scenic path through the trees to the world-famous Baia dei Turchi; look it up, it's even more magical than in pictures! And the beauty of the old town of Otranto will leave you speechless. It has been included in the famous list of the most beautiful villages in Italy,'I Borghi più belli d'Italia', of which only 10% are on the coast. As a solo traveller, I very much appreciated not being charged the same price as if two people had stayed in the same room. Considering the astronomical value of this property, it was a real bargain! Definitely a keeper and something to recommend to friends and family.

It was a pleasant stay,the property is immersed in greenery and close to Baia dei Turchi beach,easily reachable by the bikes provided. Everything was excellent,from breakfast to cleanliness,the rooms very spacious and equipped with essential amenities.

Very quiet family-run B&B ideal for a relaxing holiday. Beaches are easily reachable on foot or by bicycle and not too far from the center of Otranto. Nearby there are various dining options. Excellent pastries prepared by Emanuela for breakfast.

Balanced quality/price. The bidet was broken and was promptly repaired. The location is a few kilometers from the center and in a quiet area. The beaches of Alimini and Baia dei Turchi are easily reachable. The latter can also be reached on foot, but I recommend the shuttle.

Unbeatable value for money. Simple apartments but with everything you need, a nice park around the building where you can relax. Convenient to reach different beaches in the area. Good and plentiful breakfast. Recommended.

Emanuela and her mom are lovely people. They make you feel at home with a super welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is abundant and the homemade sweets are excellent. I highly recommend this structure.

We stayed in July 2022 and had a great time. Impeccable service, perfect bathroom and room cleanliness; very large and fresh room, quiet and peaceful area. Rich breakfast. Manuela and the family's friendliness and availability (family management of the property) are noteworthy. Optimal location to reach Baia dei Turchi (also with the bicycles provided by the property, which were convenient for us as a young couple). A car is necessary to reach the center of Otranto, which can be reached in 10 minutes with the possibility of parking for 5 euros per day. Supermarkets are 4 km away and also typical restaurants are less than 1 km away. We highly recommend it.

I gave high ratings to the establishment because from my first day to the last, I was welcomed by a wonderful family. I just want to say thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality, thank you for the good breakfasts and impeccable service. The structure is located in an enchanting place and easy to reach from the city of Otranto. Fantastic beaches are just a few steps away from the structure. I highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature.

Thanks to Emanuela and her family! They were wonderful! Beautiful place immersed in greenery, close to the most charming beaches and coves of Salento. It's also nice to go to the sea with the bikes provided, complete with seats for the little ones! Excellent breakfast.

Ideal location to visit the Bay of Turks and the Bay of Santo Stefano, the owner was very kind, gave us information and provided us with bikes! Courtesy and availability from the whole family. Comfortable rooms with front patio, convenient parking inside the property. All just a few km from Otranto. Recommended.
