17th century estate only a few minutes away from the most picturesque coastal villages in the world: the Cinque Terre.

The Baron Massola and his family formerly spent their summer holidays here, in the ancient agricultural estate Villanova, where tenacious farmers worked hard to produce the particularly fragrant olive oil and the quality wine of the Ligurian Riviera.

The farmholiday offers accommodations in the elegantly furnished baron’s villa, the ‘old ‘ priest’s house adjacent to the chapel and in the charmingly restored historic stone farmhouse.

Rooms and apartments are individually designed and restored by Baron Giancarlo Massola himself. He paid special attention to details in his effort to maintain the historical characteristics of Villanova. Antique furniture and family paintings give the guests the sensation of a journey into the past.

The rooms include standard doubles, junior suites and suites; they all have private bathrooms with shower and hairdryer and some have a kitchenette (studios). They are equipped with all modern amenities: WIFI, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, in room safe, heat, and some with air conditioning.

The apartments and studios, all with fully equipped kitchens, are suitable for those who wish to spend a more independent holiday. Modern amenities are included such as oven, WIFI, satellite TV, telephone, in room safe, hairdryer, heat, and some with air conditioning.

A delicious breakfast buffet with organic and local products, served indoors or outside on our flower filled terraces, is included in the price of the rooms, but is also available for our guests who stay in the apartments.

All rooms and apartments have terraces or gardens with panoramic views. Tables and chairs, lounge beds, umbrellas and barbecue pits enable our guests to enjoy the “open air” life or a romantic dinner “under the stars”.

Our guests can park their vehicles safely in our private parking lot.

Beautiful place, amazing views, very spacious and elegantly decorated room (we stayed in the Baron's suite). The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Not too far from Levanto, easily accessible even by walking but in a quiet countryside area.

Villanova is ideally located. In the peaceful atmosphere of the 15 hectare estate, surrounded by untouched nature, the Cinque Terre National Park can be easily reached by foot, train or by ferry. Only 1, 5 km. away lies the town of Levanto and its sandy beach. Levanto has a beautiful historic center with many good restaurants, bars and cafes, elegant shops and a buzzing weekly market. Pisa and Genoa airports are only 90km away and can be easily reached by car or train.
