We stayed at this property at the end of September, specifically in the studio apartment, and there were four of us (two couples of friends). It could not have been a better choice. First of all, Joseph is uniquely sweet, helpful and kind; for any doubt or problem he was always ready to meet our needs, giving us great advice and being available at any time. The property is welcoming and perfectly located for all our activities, so it is excellent both in the warmer season and in winter, since it is close to ski slopes (just over half an hour from Gran Sasso for treks with spectacular views), very close to L'Aquila and many other magnificent villages such as Santo Stefano di Sessanio, then on to Calascio and its evocative fortress; in short, the possibilities are endless. In ten minutes by car you can also reach the industrial area with a wide choice of high-quality supermarkets. Even though there were four of us, the studio apartment is excellent in terms of space and the value for money is absolutely right. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary and there is a space entirely dedicated to breakfast, huge and delicious, which is included in the price: coffee machine, milk, juices, yogurt, herbal teas, croissants, biscuits, cereals, snacks and I could go on for a long time, considering that the four of us still couldn't finish it all. The beds are comfortable and, in complete silence, we slept very deeply. The patio door and another window made everything very bright; the bathroom also has a window overlooking the private little garden and is equipped with a shower, hairdryer and bidet spray. The private little courtyard of the room also allowed us to enjoy moments of relaxation, although the property has large common areas where you can barbecue. We will definitely return to discover more beauties of Abruzzo. A hug to Joseph, thanks again for everything.

Welcoming accommodation in a strategic location. The host is welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He also gave us a list of nearby restaurants and a simple map of places to visit. The property is in a quiet area with parking in front; motorcycles can park inside the gate. The breakfast is plentiful, although it includes many packaged snacks. It is possible to cook. We had a good stay.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. Clean rooms, peaceful location. Everything was perfect, just one minor note: breakfast consisted of pre-packaged products. If we are in the area again in the future, we will gladly return to the Aurora property.

Rooms neither remarkable nor bad, with services commensurate with the price paid; they are in an excellent location to visit both the Gran Sasso attractions and the Majella side. The accommodation website clearly lists the services available (and not available) with plenty of images and descriptions. Camere Aurora is a very peaceful place to rest and feel at ease. It enjoys an excellent location for reaching places of interest,as it is situated between SS17 and SS261. The attic apartment is welcoming,comfortable and clean. The rooms are spacious and each has its own private bathroom. The living area includes a kitchen with everything needed for a pleasant meal. The host is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed with Joseph and his wife for a week. The apartment is comfortable, large, clean and in a strategic location for visiting Campo Imperatore and the nearby villages, about 15 minutes from L'Aquila. We were given numerous tips and ideas for things to see, all very interesting. At the same time, the owners' discretion allowed us to feel free and 'at home'. What can I say, Abruzzo pleasantly surprised us, and the property did too! See you next time!

Our stay at the property deserves a review for anyone considering visiting this area of Abruzzo. It is located in a strategic and excellent position to reach both Gran Sasso and L'Aquila, the villages, and many other worthwhile points in Maiella. Ideal for families as it is welcoming and equipped with many comforts. The owner is also a valuable guide and an excellent advisor on things to do, excursions, festivals, and much more. We felt very comfortable and it was truly an excellent choice in terms of practicality and comfort. You will be safe!

We stayed for an entire week with our two Siberian Huskies (without a fee). And we had a great time. They offer a packaged breakfast but there is everything and a fridge available with milk and water, fruit juices, butter and cheese slices, yogurt. An automatic machine that grinds coffee on demand. You also have a kitchen available. A barbecue in the garden and a small pool for children, but we were given permission to use it. The manager Josef is very kind and available for any problems. When booking by phone, he immediately informed us that the room was the smallest and in the attic (air-conditioned) with two single beds (attached) and yet it was fine, with two cushions for the dogs on the floor there was space to walk. The structure is nice and colorful but the furniture is a bit old and the shower. But clean. You cannot expect more for the fair price offered. Quiet place and close to tourist destinations to reach.

The property is very nice and clean. From the windows (apartment on the top), you have a beautiful view of the mountains. There are nearby villages with supermarkets and much more. The property is managed by a husband and wife and they are both very helpful. We went with several people renting multiple apartments and none of us had any problems with the property. Just a few steps behind the B&B there are also small gardens with playgrounds for children. Joseph pointed us to places to eat and also things to do and visit. We had a lot of fun. I recommend the property.

The value for money is more than excellent thanks to the conveniently low price. The quality could be higher if the removal of dust bunnies, especially under the beds, were more careful. During the stay, the instability of the toilet seat was reported, but it remained the same. Aside from that, we recommend the property and would gladly return.

Good morning! I stayed in this structure from August 22 to August 26 with my boyfriend. We chose the option of a room with a balcony and shared bathroom and kitchen on the same floor, and we had a great time. The manager has always been welcoming and kind to us, and always super helpful (we even forgot a couple of shoes left behind in the rush to leave, and he promptly sent them back to us). The kitchen was very useful as we could store our food in the refrigerator and cook at any time. The bed and breakfast is located in a nice position that is also strategic for visiting L'Aquila and its province. In short, we hope to return soon to this structure and thank you for everything Joseph.

My family and I stayed for a week in the three-room apartment on the second floor. For us, the stairs are not a problem and we appreciated so many little conveniences: the double bathroom, the coffee machine with beans, everything we needed at hand (detergents, sponges, paper towels, coffee, salt, liquid soap in the bathroom). It is equipped with a fan, microwave, oven, mosquito nets, Wi-Fi, TV in the living area and in the rooms, parking in front of the accommodation, video surveillance, and a small outdoor pool. The manager is available and the Facebook page is updated with trips and excursions. We felt at home. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Camere Aurora which is about 15 km from L'Aquila for a 7-day vacation to visit Abruzzo. The area is very quiet and peaceful and the owner is attentive and caring. Provides information about the area and places to visit. The studio where we stayed was on the ground floor, with a reserved outdoor space, equipped with armchairs and a small table to enjoy evening relaxation after a busy day. Kitchenette with fridge, oven, gas stove, toaster and everything you need to cook. Detergents included. There is a washing machine and an espresso machine for coffee. The owner provides breakfast products even in the apartments (never found such a service). Milk, various types of croissants, biscuits, jams, etc... In the fridge we found yogurt, water, cheese, sliced bread, and processed cheese. The structure is equipped with every technology. Thanks to Joseph and his wife for their availability and welcome.

We stayed at Camere Aurora for one night, comfortable room, rich breakfast and very good coffee. Convenient parking just outside the building, there are some internal stairs to climb but otherwise the structure is very comfortable and welcoming. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I stayed two days at Camere Aurora and I had a great time! Being alone, I found the structure very comfortable, ideal for exploring the Campo Imperatore area, Gran Sasso and all the beautiful nearby villages like Rocca Calascio, S.Stefano di Sessanio, Navelli, Castel del Monte etc. Despite not being a luxury facility, it offers an excellent value for money. It is very clean and the manager is very kind and helpful. Moreover, the entrance is automated, allowing me to enter and exit whenever I wanted. Breakfast is included, with packaged products but with a wide variety of choices and always available. I would recommend this property to anyone.

I stayed at Camere Aurora for 6 days in a single room because I was on a solo motorcycle vacation. I had a great time! The facility is extremely clean, equipped with everything you need and the shared kitchen available to the rooms proved to be very useful to avoid dining out every evening, and to prepare a glass of warm milk even in the middle of the day for a snack. Joseph, the owner, is a lovely person who gave me lots of advice on what to visit, and was always by my side at every moment of the vacation keeping the facility in order and constantly asking me if I needed anything. The location is strategic to reach Campo Imperatore with beautiful bends, the Stiffe Caves and just a few kilometers from L'Aquila, which is always great to not feel completely isolated in some remote village. In short, I found Camere Aurora almost by chance on the internet, but now I can say that I would choose it among a thousand others, considering everything I have written! If you go to those areas, definitely stop by Joseph!

We stayed in a triple room with en-suite bathroom, spacious room, abundant breakfast with the possibility to use the kitchen equipped with various tables and chairs plus a small sofa and TV, upon return from the ski slopes it was also an excellent relaxation area. The manager is super helpful and attentive to the needs of the customers, ready to satisfy our requests. Also recommended for excursions in the area.

My partner and I came to this B&B for the first time in 2007. Today, after a gap of 16 years, we returned for the Epiphany weekend with our little boy and found again the warmth, hospitality, and availability of Joseph who, over the years, has made this structure very comfortable thanks to the technology with a magnetic card for entering and exiting without time constraints, free access to the kitchen with a living room where you can cook if you wish, and also a rich buffet for breakfast. The location is optimal because in just 20 minutes you can reach the cable car to Gran Sasso to go up to Campo Imperatore and in 15 minutes you can reach the beautiful Stiffe Caves. I really recommend this property for the excellent value for money and proximity to many points of interest, as well as, of course, for the kindness of the manager. Excellent location, all the excursions we did were between 15 and 30 minutes away. Quiet place and owner ready to meet our every request at any time. Rich and varied breakfast. Also worth trying in winter given the distance from the facilities (cable car to Fonte Cerreto for Campo Imperatore in 15 minutes). We will be back.

Excellent availability of both managers, courtesy and almost maniacal cleanliness of the environments. Equipped kitchen. Breakfast with a wide choice. Spacious, functional and well-lit rooms. The structure is strategically located to reach the most interesting naturalistic, environmental sites and mountains (Fonte Cerreto - Campo Imperatore, Lago di Campotosto, Rocca di Cambio, Rocca di Mezzo). Well served by FS and TUA's bus lines. A serene and efficient family management enlivened by the beautiful, friendly, and sunny daughters. We will return as soon as possible.

We were satisfied with everything. Location, cleanliness, ease in reaching the structure with the satellite navigator, but there is no sign on the main road indicating the structure, good value for money. The breakfast very plentiful, personally I would have liked some local bread - in fact we ate the ferratele and the bread, more than the sweets. But nothing to complain about. The welcome was also courteous.
