Ancient Courtyard St. Augustine, a residence for tourists completely renovated in 2010, is located in St. Augustine Road at number 25, in the heart of the historic center of Mazara del Vallo recently undergone numerous restoration and renovation to be part of 'Municipal Administration, two steps from the "casbah", ie from the historic center characterized by an urban structure characterized by an intersection of narrow, winding once made to better defend themselves from sun, wind and from their enemies, blind alleys overlooked characteristic courtyards with wells for water and sinks (the cd. stacked stone), the Islamic urban fabric can be seen today. The guest accommodation is in private apartments of various sizes, equipped with comfortable, bright and tastefully decorated and semplicità. Very charming accommodations, we had a room with balcony facing the courtyard. Great central location, good selection for breakfast options and super friendly host. Heed the host's warning not to try and drive to the property if you have a large car or SUV. Vito will come and meet you and advise on where to park.

We booked the suite, which was really outstanding. The breakfast offered is really good. It is rather difficult to reach the location by car, especially if you drive a bigger car. The way to the location is sometimes extremely narrow and you should not be a scared driver.

The Cortile Sant'Agostino is particularly beautiful and comfortable and the welcome by Vito and his mother is very friendly and warm. Our room was large and quiet, and the staff attentive. Everything is close by, restaurants, seaside, also the train station. The breakfast is very abundant, with yogurt, fruits, sandwiches and cake slices, a blood orange and a lemon jam, all delicious. A truly exceptional accommodation!

Beautiful place. Great hospitality. The room is very good. The breakfast is very abundant, varied and very good. The only difficulty is navigating the extremely narrow streets of the historic center. A very small car is needed to access the accommodation. We really enjoyed this city.

The courtyard Sant'Agostino is a delightful accommodation in the historic center of Mazara del Vallo, between the Giudecca and Cashba areas, next to the church of San Michele. Perfectly located to reach places of interest on foot in a few minutes. It is a fifteen-minute walk from the bus station to Palermo and to the airports. The structure is meticulously cared for and furnished in all its environments; enchanting are the colorful ceramics on the walls in Tunisian style and also the always ceramic objects that decorate the environments. Delightful is the small courtyard at the entrance. Comfortable beds for the back and a room with air conditioning. The breakfast is excellent and varied and also offers healthy products like fruit, kefir, and dried fruit. Available to guests, in a common room, coffee and tea. The host, Mr. Vito, is kind, helpful and very welcoming, in the most genuine Sicilian tradition; he is often assisted by his young daughter who is ready to provide suggestions about visiting the town and the best restaurants in the area. Specifically, Mr. Vito also lent me his bicycle to reach a not close beach in less time.

Very nice property that reminded me of Moroccan Arab-style houses and hotels with a courtyard. The rooms are clean and new, we were welcomed and guided to the property by a very kind manager, parking is available very close to the property. Breakfast with typical sweet and savory products is very good. Mazara is a fascinating city worth a stop, the regret is that it is not valued.

Splendid bed and breakfast in the center of Mazara del Vallo. Excellent welcome from the manager, who advised us on what to see and where to eat. The structure is a little gem with majolica decorations everywhere and last but not least, the amazing breakfast, the best of my 10 days in Sicily. Highly recommended.

We are recommending this beautiful Bed and Breakfast to all our acquaintances. Starting from the friendliness of the manager, everything in this establishment is perfect: the sense of hospitality perceived through small-big courtesies towards the guests such as the possibility of using a refreshment area inside the Bed and Breakfast and the water in the room's minibar. The meticulous cleanliness and attention to detail in the furnishings and last but not least the varied, abundant and typical breakfast: more than up to the photos published. Overall excellent rating, the management is attentive and punctual, nothing is left to chance, impeccable cleanliness and full availability from the managers. The only advice is to extend the breakfast time beyond 9.30 or give the possibility to those who wish to have breakfast in a nearby bar with a possible voucher.

Central location, new, clean and welcoming structure. Kind and helpful owner. He helped us in choosing the restaurant providing excellent advice. I point out the possibility of accessing the breakfast room 24 hours a day with the possibility of having a coffee, a herbal tea and eating excellent pastries, a sign of hospitality and trust towards the guests. Highly recommended as a structure!

Well-maintained structure down to the smallest detail, clean, fragrant, welcoming. The breakfast is excellent: quality and typical local products. The welcome is also top-notch: they offer guests daily dry pastry sweets, coffee, tea, water, and Marsala to their heart's content. The owner Vito, assisted by his staff, is always attentive to the guests' needs and available to provide advice on what to see and where to eat. Absolutely recommended!

We had a great time, only downside the dimensions of some of the alleys to cross to reach Cortile Sant'Agostino Suites & Rooms, at least until you get familiar with the city.
