The breakfast was amazing! Guila made sure there was plenty of food and served local specialties. She was very kind with our children and made sure they got what they wanted to eat and made us feel very at home. The room was perfect, nicely heated and with everything we needed. We speak no Italian and they spoke no English but we had so much fun with the family and the hosts were very helpful in getting us what we needed and giving us tips on what was happening around the area and how to get to places. You need a car to get around this area, taxis are hard to get to and from the property.

We had a delightful stay at La Casa della Nonna. Warm welcome from Giulia and her family (the magnificent smile of her daughter Cristina!). The beauty and tranquility of the environment rested us from the bustling and polluted atmosphere of Rome. We didn't have time to explore all the artistic treasures of the region, we will return to La Casa della Nonna if God grants us life and gives us strength.

We had a great time as guests of Giulia. Spacious room, decorated with great care and equipped with air conditioning, very comfortable bed, large bathroom. In addition, a plentiful breakfast and the kindness of the hostess, in an oasis of peace and nature.

Great welcome from Giulia and family, you have the feeling of being at home, especially for the nice chats with Giulia. The place is in my opinion ideal to escape from the city's frenzy.

Very beautiful, clean and well-kept structure in every detail by the owner. Amazing breakfast: every day Mrs. Giulia had a typical product, a cake, a different sweet to let us try. Top! We felt welcomed and pampered just like a very welcome guest. Not to mention the Tuscia platter with local products and Mrs. Giulia's homemade delights, a must try! The Tuscia territory deserves to be visited and the B&B La Casa della Nonna is very convenient as a starting point for many beautiful excursions. Last thing: the road to reach it is not at all as bad as described in other reviews, it's a country lane that becomes narrow in the last 100 meters. Totally doable.

B&B located in a quiet area surrounded by olive groves just a stone's throw from Viterbo. Clean and comfortable room. The owner, Mrs. Giulia, is courteous and helpful. Delicious breakfast. When we return to Tuscia, we will not waste time looking for accommodation on the internet but we already know where to go.

Located outside the city center, in the countryside, suitable for those who want to unwind from the city. I would recommend this place to everyone +++.

We stayed only one night in this fairy-tale place: everything here is perfect, starting from being immersed in nature and silence, being welcomed by Mrs. Giulia, full of attentions and advice on places to visit, always available and kind, up to the care in the details of the furnishings that make you feel immersed in a magical and welcoming place to the functionality of the rooms equipped with a kitchenette for a herbal tea or to heat small meals for the little ones. While our friends were staying with their child in a beautiful room also equipped with the old-style mosquito net that delicately and romantically rested on the bed, we had 'the old barn': the height of romance. If you have in mind a romantic weekend you absolutely must book it. Last note on breakfast: there is everything and above all everything is of excellent quality, taste the local hazelnut cream, to be left speechless.

Although not in the center of San Martino, but only a few minutes away, the location of the structure allows you to move around the delightful centers of the Viterbo area and the surroundings of Lake Vico while at the same time enjoying a relaxing time in the hilly greenery. Good taste, class, and availability are the primary factors of the management, comfortable well-furnished rooms, not to mention the exquisite breakfast based on local products. The only downside: not having stayed longer.

Simple and clean room, as well as the services. There is a beautiful well-kept garden. It is located outside the town, perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday. In a few minutes by car you can reach interesting places like Lake Vico, Bracciano and Bolsena. In an hour you can reach Terni, where you can admire the Marmore waterfalls. The Park of Lake Vico is interesting. The capital, Viterbo, is very close and offers the opportunity to visit several museums, the Papal thermal baths and a botanical garden where university courses are held. The town (San Martino al Cimino) is small but has all the necessary services: pharmacy, bakery, deli, fruit shop, newsstand, doctor, etc. The shops are like the old days, managed by friendly people. The inhabitants, including those of the capital, are very helpful and ready to help others. I changed restaurant almost every day and I enjoyed everywhere.

Too bad we could only stay for one night. It's the first time I find a bed & breakfast that leaves me speechless for its beauty. It's cozy, very clean, furnished and cared for in every detail (from the towels put together with a raffia ribbon, to the scented and organic soaps, to the decorations with hearts on the pillows and blankets). Mrs. Giulia was delightful and friendly. Not to mention the magnificent breakfast, also very well taken care of. All the pastries were delicious. Definitely a place to go back to as soon as possible to stay a bit longer.

It was a bit of a problem getting there due to the road not being visible from the main road, but it was evening. The place is enchanting, immersed in greenery. We stayed in the ancient barn, a very well-kept apartment with attention to detail, especially the bathroom, apart from a problem with the shower but nothing serious. Ideal for a romantic getaway but also for a family trip away from the noise of the city. Availability, friendliness, kindness. Abundant and varied breakfast. We will return.

The B&B is an ancient farmhouse renovated with love and passion. Nothing is left to chance. The rooms are taken care of in every detail, everything is perfect, from the soft towels held together by a raffia ribbon and fragrant fresh flowers, to the wooden trunk with the extra blankets, to the volumes and guides from which one can draw inspiration to enjoy everything that this splendid part of Italy has to offer (and it really is a lot). And what can I say about Mrs. Giulia? Simply splendid. She is endowed with a courtesy and attention towards her guests that is truly exceptional. The breakfasts she provided us in our room every day were abundant and delicious. A very pleasant surprise, the daily tidying of the room also includes cups, plates, cutlery, etc. used for breakfast. A B&B with a four-star hotel service. Thank you for everything.

This is not the first time that my wife and I take advantage of La Casa della Nonna to spend, unfortunately, only a little time away from the routine, the confusion, and immersed in the healthy nature that surrounds it. What can I say about the owners, friendly, welcoming people who are willing to give you advice and guide you to nearby places to visit, rich in history and art. The B&B is really well cared for in every detail and this is certainly the work of Giulia, attentive to everything and to all her guests. I highly recommend a stay.

To begin with, we fully confirm what has already been said in previous reviews. As soon as we arrived, Mrs. Giulia even provided us with a proposed itinerary (day by day) with the most interesting places in the Viterbo area, created specifically for us; truly essential. The place was excellent for both resting and excursions, which we alternated during our stay. The idea of combining the August package with entry to the thermal baths was very appreciated. The chats on the terrace with the managers were also very pleasant; it felt like we were not customers, but guests. And what are you waiting for?

I have never seen a bed and breakfast like this. A delightful and clean room with a four-star hotel service. Just one example: very fresh seasonal fruit for breakfast. And the empty tray was immediately filled with new homemade typical products for the next morning. The place is in the middle of the countryside, although just five minutes by car from the center of Viterbo. Ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the silence and tranquility.

It is a pity to have stayed only a few days. The B&B is welcoming and clean, taken care of in the small details (furniture, flowers in the room, scented soaps, delicious breakfast corner) and in the most important aspects. The location is quiet but convenient to the city. The breakfast is plentiful with typical pastries and the idea of the coffee maker that wakes you up with the aroma of coffee is excellent. We hope to return soon.
