B&B Al Sasso is located in Toceno, an authentic corner of the Vigezzo Valley, known as "the balcony of the valley" for its spectacular views. Nestled between the Lepontine Alps and a short distance from the Val Grande National Park, our bed and breakfast is the ideal starting point to explore this unspoiled nature. The strategic position allows for easy access to iconic locations such as Arvogno and Blizz, from which to embark on wonderful hikes.
The facility is newly built and offers spacious and bright rooms, equipped with modern comforts and private bathrooms. Guests can choose between a double room with a balcony and a twin room with an extra bed, ideal for families or small groups. The spacious common areas, including terraces overlooking the mountains and a garden equipped with games and deck chairs, offer moments of relaxation immersed in nature. For those who wish to socialize, the cozy reading corner, TV, and music area create a friendly atmosphere. Additionally, a fully equipped kitchen is available for the exclusive use of guests, as well as a laundry room and the availability of strollers, high chairs, and bicycles.
The Vigezzo Valley, also known as the “Valley of Painters” due to its strong artistic imprint, hosts a rich calendar of cultural events, such as the famous International Chimney Sweep Gathering and the Christmas Markets. The painting tradition of the valley, which has seen the birth of artists like Carlo Fornara and G. B. Ciolina, is a draw for art and culture lovers. For pilgrims, the Sanctuary of Re, dedicated to the Madonna del Sangue, is located a few kilometers from our B&B and is an important spiritual landmark.
