The stay at this property was wonderful. The host was very kind, hospitable and welcoming. The room, although not spacious, was very clean and equipped with all the comforts. The breakfast was plentiful and I especially appreciated the homemade pastries: they were finger-licking good. We felt at home!

Mrs. Maria Grazia is truly an exceptional host, kind and attentive. The breakfast with homemade pastries is excellent and plentiful. The only drawback is the stairs to access the upper floors, which are not suitable for people with mobility disabilities.

My husband and I stayed for one night at La Dulcamara and it was a very pleasant experience, the place is warm and welcoming just like the B&B manager. Mrs. Maria Grazia was kind and welcoming from the beginning, she gave us various information about the trekking routes we were interested in. The room was clean and warm, the bed comfortable. We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast, just a short walk from the center, for 4 nights from December 29th to January 2nd in room number 1 on the first floor out of two. The room was small with rustic and essential furnishings, the double bed was quite uncomfortable being composed of two single beds with three worn and heavy blankets stacked on top of each other. The bathroom was very small with a shower without a box, but with a curtain that tended to stick to the skin due to steam and water. The hairdryer I had requested was changed the next day without explanations with an outdated and malfunctioning one. Breakfast, served with makeshift cups and jugs, consisted of tea, coffee, milk on request, rusks, single portions of jam/honey/chocolate, a prepackaged croissant heated on the spot, all of poor quality, and a homemade sweet (the only positive note). The buffet was complemented by two bottles of yoga-type fruit juices. In the room, every kind of noise could be heard, not only due to the type of structure but above all because the owners were unable to manage some rude and noisy guests, so we were abruptly woken up by shouts and noise every morning around 7:30. Last but not least, on New Year's Day, after the cleaning, the owner seems to have left the door of my room open, and upon returning to the room around lunchtime, I found the guest of room number 5 sleeping on my bed. Waking up suddenly and in an obvious state of confusion, he justified himself by saying he thought he was in his room upstairs. Shocked by the surreal situation, I immediately called the owner, who could only apologize and change the linens. Despite the owner being a kind person and the room being very clean, my experience was not positive at all; finding a stranger in your room among your personal belongings was a very serious episode.
