Il Glicine stands majestically within a large garden, immersed in the tranquility of Valtenesi, a hilly region of the lower Garda famous for its wine and food traditions. This charming house from the 1960s represents a perfect retreat for lovers of peace, located in a strategic position between the waters of Lake Garda, just eight kilometers away, and the historic art city of Brescia, sixteen kilometers away.

The property offers various accommodation solutions designed to welcome guests with every comfort. On the ground floor, an independent apartment extends over approximately 50 square meters, equipped with a fitted kitchen, a cozy double bedroom, and two single beds, as well as a bathroom with a shower. On the first floor, three spacious and comfortable bedrooms welcome guests, with a triple room equipped with a private bathroom and two double rooms sharing a bathroom. Guests in the rooms can also take advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, exclusively for their use, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.

We spent 2 nights at Lucia's place and she pampered us and gave us many tips about the area. The B&B is in a great location not far from Desenzano. The good breakfast was accompanied by conversations about the day we spent, it was very pleasant. We felt at home.

Mrs. Lucia is a perfect host, always present and precise. The accommodation is in a convenient location by the lake, a spacious room with a bathroom, vintage but well-kept decor, internal parking, and wifi included in the price. Very pleasant contact and conversations with Mrs. Lucia who personally prepared a varied and abundant breakfast. Good value for money.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend two nights near Lake Garda to be able to take some trips and see some characteristic places on the lake. We couldn't have chosen better, the owner Mrs. Lucia made us feel at home, also giving us excellent advice on places to visit and where to eat! I have stayed at this B&B for various periods over the past few years, enjoying it in all seasons. I highly recommend it in spring, when the magnificent garden of the B&B is at its peak splendor but also in summer, when you can enjoy the cool evening (the breeze comes from the lake) under the gazebo. Il Glicine is a special place that easily stays in the heart, primarily for the extraordinary hospitality provided by the owner Lucia, who not only limits herself to handing over the keys and giving minimal directions, but welcomes you with the cordiality of bygone days (without ever being intrusive) and provides many precise recommendations on places nearby to visit as well as other useful tips (for example, for getting around or eating in the surrounding area or Lake Garda zone). Il Glicine is arranged on two floors: on the ground floor there is a mini-apartment with fairly modern and functional furnishings. Upstairs there are several spacious and elegant rooms. The furnishings of the upper floor, classic and tasteful, largely originate from when the whole family permanently lived there and immediately give a pleasant sense of family warmth. The living room is very large and bright, with a large sofa and several armchairs, where you can spend time with TV, library, and board games. There is also the possibility to use the kitchen, which has all the necessary utensils (as well as a fridge with a freezer compartment, a very convenient option for organizing your stay). Lake Garda can be reached in a 15-minute drive. Finally, the rooms are always clean and the B&B is located in a very quiet area, there are no noise problems.

E poi la vita ti mette di fronte ad incontri con persone che, dopo tanta frequentazione, fatichi a considerare nella categoria quasi riduttiva degli ospiti. Come nel tuo caso, Marta. Entrata discretamente nel tessuto affettivo della famiglia, della casa, del giardino, anche se dopo anni che venivi ancora non sapevi dov'era piantata la salvia (...), sei diventata via via una presenza ineludibile. Grazie a te per la tua vicinanza in tutti questi anni, per la tua gentilezza, l'ordine nella tua camera e negli spazi comuni (non sono ironica) e per l'amore che hai dedicato anche ai nostri animali, i mici Pelér, Balì e Ghibli (detto Ghiblino) e la gallinella Vinessa. È pleonastico dirti che ti rivedrò sempre volentieri.

We found a reception from a bygone era, Lucia (and her husband Mario) are people who host you in a friendly but above all nice, clean and classy atmosphere. Breakfast abundant. The furnishing in the breakfast room is commendable, you can admire paintings and furnishings very in tune with the style of the house. Congratulations again to the managers Lucia and Mario for having understood the true spirit of the B&B.

It's like being with family. I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for four days and I was immediately welcomed with the utmost courtesy and kindness by the manager Lucia, who is a fantastic and brilliant woman. I found myself in a quiet and noise-free house. There is a convenient and safe private parking. There is internet. I had lunch and dinner at home because there is a kitchen available. There is a beautiful elegant living room to watch TV and where an excellent and abundant breakfast is served. It is located a few km from the beautiful city of Brescia and near the castle of Sirmione. Returning home one evening, Mrs. Lucia invited me for a post-dinner offering me a dessert and an excellent glass of local wine. The next day she also took me to a well-known winery to buy some wine. In short, I felt like I was at home. I highly recommend the Bed and Breakfast Il Glicine to everyone.

The B&B Il Glicine is a comfortable and quiet place to stay for a weekend or even for weeks and months! The warmth of the place is comparable to that of a home! Lucia is always very kind and helpful. In addition to the good taste of the premises and the various comforts, the village where it is located offers peace and tranquility while being close to livelier towns and Lake Garda.
