At n° 53 in Calata Trinità Maggiore, close to piazza del gesù nuovo, you can find, among the chiseled stone of the prestigious sixteenth century building Pignatelli di Monteleone and the slight buzz of the street.

Our structure is located on the 3rd floor of the Pignatelli di Monteleone, now a national monument: here lived the painter Edgar Degas, a leading figure of French Impressionism.

Maison Degas has all the comforts you need for a relaxed stay: bar, 24-hour front desk, non-smoking rooms, express check-in/check-out, safety deposit box, heating, luggage storage, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower.

We have 6 double rooms available in our structure and a triple/quadruple superior room: it is possible, on availability, to book a room that overlooks the striking P. zza del Gesù Nuovo, in the heart of the historical centre of Naples which UNESCO declared a Cultural Heritage site, or a room facing the courtyard of our prestigious building.

Parking is available in our courtyard or in an exterior garage not far from our structure at the cost of 20 euros per day. If you're coming by car, please contact us at least 2 days before your arrival to reserve the parking lot.

The historic city is characterized by many churches. You often find several of them in one street among Baroque style palazzi of aristocratic families and antique residences. Naples’s most important church is the San Gennaro (St. Januarius) Cathedral, where each year the famous Miracle Blood ceremony takes place. The Gothic churches, the Santa Chiara Convent, San Lorenzo Maggiore and San Domenico Maggiore, as well as the Baroque church, Gesù Nuovo, are worth a visit.

The historic city offers numerous places to do some shopping, above all, for crafts, antiques, and souvenirs. You should definitely visit Via San Gregorio Armeno, the famous street of the nativity scene makers.

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

The penalty varies depending on the time of cancellation
- from time of booking to 7 days before the check-in date, no penalty is charged;
- from 6 to 1 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the booking;
- A penalty of 100% of the entire cost of the stay is applied for failure to show or cancellation on day of arrival;

For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Posizione meravigliosa, camera essenziale, il ragazzo del check-in impeccabile, tutto bene fino alla colazione. Ho gentilmente chiesto di anticipare la consumazione, prenotata alle 8: 30, e la reazione della ragazza mi ha raggelata. Premetto che ero sola e che la sera precedente avevo visto la sala già apparecchiata per le colazioni, quindi ritenevo la mia richiesta accettabile, non voglio mettere in difficoltà chi lavora. Invece la cosa ha fortemente irritato la ragazza in sala, che ha cominciato a fare spallucce e a parlarmi in maniera seccatissima. Avrei preferito un "no, non posso accontarti" detto gentilmente piuttosto che "si sieda" detto con quel tono decisamente poco accogliente e con quel linguaggio del corpo quasi rabbioso. Avrei dovuto girare i tacchi e andarmene, quindi la colpa è parzialmente mia. Ho enorme rispetto per chi lavora mentre io sono in vacanza e non sono solita dare recensioni negative, ma credo che si debba sempre rispondere con cortesia, e che la professionalità sì misuri da come si reagisce agli imprevisti. Metto un voto basso perché mi ha messo di malumore e ne sono ancora dispiaciuta.

Il nostro intento e' accogliere sempre l'ospite con premura ed immedesimazione per offrire le soluzioni piu' appropriate per rendere il soggiorno , nella struttura, nella citta', un esperienza piacevole . Mantenere la costanza di atteggiamenti virtuosi necessita di una continua vigilanza : evidentemente la sua segnalazione ci invita , ad un maggiore impegno in tal senso . Gradiremmo averla ancora nostra ospite ... siamo certi che non ricordera' piu' l'amarezza del primo incontro cordiali saluti la direzione

Il B&B mi è stato consigliato da una amica che vi aveva soggiornato. Personale cordialissimo e molto disponibile. Ottima colazione con sfogliatelle e paste freschissime. Collocato in un palazzo storico in angolo con piazza del Gesù nuovo. Posizione strategica per visite turistiche: un centinaio di metri da Santa Chiara e Spaccanapoli. Poco do più per arrivare alla Metro. Lo consigliamo.

Abbiamo appena trascorso un piacevolissimo weekend a Napoli presso questa struttura, che si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare le meraviglie del centro storico e del lungomare. Stanze gradevoli, accoglienti e pulite; ottima colazione. Ma il punto di forza del Maison Degas è il personale che ci ha accompagnato dalla prenotazione al termine del soggiorno con estrema gentilezza, professionalità e disponibilità come mai trovate prima. Un grazie caloroso a Roberta, Antonio e Nicola. Siamo determinati a tornare presto e soggiorneremo sicuramente ancora nella stessa struttura.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti e la posizione centrale della struttura ci ha permesso di sfruttare al massimo il tempo disponibile, ottima l'accoglienza, gentile e preparato il personale che ci ha consigliato cosa e come visitare la città. Ottima posizione rispetto al centro, personale gentilissimo e affabile, stanza pulita e confortevole. Unici due difetti che abbassano il rapporto qualità-prezzo: la colazione (migliorabile) e la rumorosità, non tanto con l'esterno (seppur l'edifico si affacci su una piazza alquanto viva è provvisto di buoni infissi isolanti), quanto tra le varie camere e il corridoio (separati tra di loro da cartongesso).
