Very accommodating and friendly! Nice breakfast and there were some very cute kittens living here that were our lovely breakfast pals. They did our laundry for 8 euros which was very reasonable and allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours between check out and our train departure. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice garden (former small shipyard). Attention: canal water (and stench) from the walls (should improve after summer when heating is on), abundant mosquitoes/gnats (no surprise in a lagoon/former swamp). Read tick 'near station' below as: very close to the vaporetti station. Missing tick (positive feature): it is in a residential area, just outside the crowded areas/paths.

Great place, very good location. First stop from Marco Polo airport, just far enough away from hustle and bustle and close enough to all the interesting places. Nice host who gives you a warm welcome and good advice. After fifth visit to Venice I think this is the best area to stay. Nice small restaurants at reasonable prices. Perhaps some cheese with breakfast and I would give Andrea and B&B Allo Squero even a 9 for breakfast. But perhaps this is a desire I have being of Dutch origin.

Very nice welcome and assistance from Andrea, attentive in giving us advice. Very nice room overlooking a small canal, and breakfast in the small inner garden, it's really a joy for lovers. All the charm of Venice, close to the center but away from the tourists, in short, highly recommended.

What to say about our short stay at B&B Allo Squero with Andrea and his charming wife? Only good things. We have been to Venice at least twenty times, and it is the first time we actually slept at a Venetian's home, living in his childhood house. A little corner of peace at the end of a small alley, with a beautiful garden and the canal passing right outside the bedroom window, reflecting the water on the ceiling at night. A fantastic bathroom, everything is comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is like rarely found in Italy, abundant (with real bread, a very rare thing), served in the garden. In short, we loved it! Loved it a lot. Thanks to Andrea and his wife and see you in two years for the Biennale.

I spent 4 nights in this house with my husband. The host picked us up at the station, showed us the house, provided us with a round trip ticket to Venice, and gave us great tips to enjoy our stay. He offered us a bottle of prosecco. He also offered to drive us to the airport for a fee for our departure, which we gladly accepted. We are very satisfied.

Very good welcome easy exchanges in French (practical for non-bilingual people!), very pleasant accommodation, well located in Venice, in a quiet neighborhood. It would be nice to have an electric kettle and cups in the room to be able to have a hot drink in the evening.

Very pleasant room, quiet, very well located in Venice. Friendly owner. Is it possible to provide in the rooms a small electric kettle and powdered tea and coffee please? (like in some hotels and B&Bs in other countries). And a small Venetian "dolce" for breakfast, at least once? Thank you.
