Charming old farmhouse run by the friendly, cheerful and generous owner Federica. We enjoyed the very charming upstairs "apartment" with three beds. Great location: Close to the city but in a quiet green spot amidst olive trees. You can catch a bus but we preferred the very pleasant and easy 20 mins walk on side roads to Porta Tufi. (We recommend Via del Mandorlo. Strada dei Tufi is very busy and has no sidewalk.) Our dog was very welcome and it was great to be able to let him run around on the land. Federica has a friendly dog, too, but he was kept in a separate part of the yard. Because it was too early in the year, the famous breakfasts which other guests wrote about were not yet available. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it whole-heartedly to anyone visiting Siena. Even in late March the city center of Siena was already very busy and we really liked being able to escape this busy vibe on the quiet walk back and relax in the pleasant room or outside on the patios.

We had a great time here, we went for a vineyard tour and to visit Siena and it was perfect, we always took the bus that is right in front of the location. The owner was lovely.

We spent one night and I wish we could have stayed longer in this charming bed and breakfast. The host was lovely and the breakfast was a treat from their garden. The location was perfect for visiting Siena and local wineries.

Federica is a lovely host and very helpful. The property is located within a 20-minute walk to Porta Tufi, however, part of the walk does not have a designated pathway so I wouldn't want to do it in the evening. We found the walk enjoyable. There is a bus, but we did not use it. The property is very clean with lovely surroundings. The washing machine is very handy. We found the bed to be very hard - not comfortable for us. The website stated that breakfast was included, however, it actually costs 5 euros per person - Federica said she will have the website updated. The breakfast was disappointing, coffee or tea, a few slices of bread with jam, some homemade cake, an apple, a nectarine, and some small figs. There were some pastries, however, these were the "long life" type in plastic bags. Maybe it's a cultural thing but given the photos and description on the site, it was not what we expected.

It’s a beautiful place, green and well maintained. It’s around 20 mins walk to the Piazza del Campo in Siena. Federica was kind and did a great cake for the breakfast. Except for the noise coming from a highway it was a perfect stay. Thanks!

We loved spending a few days in this unique country home that was once a farmhouse which has been lovingly restored. Family owned and operated by Federica, who is proud of her Siena heritage, very helpful sharing information about her city and culture, and in getting to know her guests. We enjoyed staying outside the city, and found it easy to catch the local bus into Siena. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, with the extra wool blankets the heating was adequate for April, and with the windows closed we heard no traffic noise from the nearby highway. Internet is available, though sometimes it can be intermittent. If you decide to eat breakfast there, Federica makes really delicious coffee. We like a substantial breakfast (photo did not reflect what was offered on our first day), and so decided to eat in Siena instead.

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay. The sheets and towels smelled clean. Federica is an excellent host with an incredibly warm and genuine laugh. Extremely comfortable place to stay. Quiet. Easy bus to catch for five minutes into town. We took the bus into town and walked back. Walk back easy 15-20 minutes.

This is a delightful traditional farmhouse located close to Siena. The farmhouse is located down a driveway some distance from the road. The rooms are spacious and bright. Breakfast was delicious with our hostess providing a choice of homemade cakes and fresh coffee. Breakfast could be taken in the garden in warmer weather. The proximity of this accommodation to Siena makes it especially appealing.

Everything was perfect. The family is very welcoming, very friendly and very helpful. The B&B is only 20 minutes walk from the center of Siena. The breakfast was gorgeous, lovely coffee, homemade cakes and jams and plenty of fruit, hams and the rest. Definitely a place to come back to.

Superb welcome by the owner and good contact with great advice. Breakfast for 5 euros per person very good, with fruits, homemade cakes, homemade jam/bread and excellent cappuccino. Charming house among the olive trees. Pleasant room with beautiful view of the countryside. Just in the morning and evening we could hear the people in the neighboring room due to poor insulation. Consider double curtains for the morning light. Close to the Porta Tuffi of Siena, a bit dangerous to walk because it's along the road, by car 2 minutes with parking at 1.5 euros/hour from 8:00 to 20:00. I recommend this guest house.

To visit Siena and its surroundings, it was a great starting point here. The house and the rooms are wonderfully spacious and quiet. Everything very clean. Moreover, the nice landlady is very helpful. Bus connection directly in front of the property. Sweet breakfast was ok. Delicious coffee ☕️.

Very convenient location for Siena (walking distance to the old town about 20 minutes) with plenty of parking space for a large car. The owners are very friendly and offer a homemade coffee for breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not with a new design, yet very authentic. Price-performance ratio is very good for Siena! Clear recommendation!

The b&B is conveniently located near the highway and right in front of the gates of Siena. The proximity of the highway is not a problem due to the very good soundproof windows. The city is reachable on foot in 20-25 minutes - or you can take the city bus (stops right in front of the accommodation) and be in the city in 10 minutes. Federica and her mother are very nice and accommodating hosts. We felt very comfortable and will gladly return.

The property is in a great location and just a 5-minute drive from Porta dei Tufi. The lady was very kind and helpful in explaining how to get around Siena and also made our check-in flexible. The issue that lowered the rating of the property was the cold. Upon entering (at 7 PM), we were welcomed by a nice warmth. We went out shortly after for dinner, and when we returned (around 10 PM), the room was cold and it was even colder during the night. In the morning, it was "difficult" to get up as getting out of bed gave the distinct feeling of being in the Himalayas. When we mentioned this circumstance, while leaving the property (at 7:15 AM), the owner responded by shrugging her shoulders.

We did not have breakfast. The structure and the farmhouse are very beautiful and the location is quiet, somewhat isolated (especially in the evening) but still close to the gates of Siena. It is functional and simple, the heating is active (remember to notify before arriving, only in winter) with hot water. The rooms need improvements. Thank you very much.

Located just over a kilometer from Porta Tufi, it allows you to reach the city on foot but is also close to the bus stop. Very pleasant and quiet location (you forget you are close to the city and the main road). Very kind managers, abundant breakfast. If I had to find a flaw, the bathroom in our room was a bit small. If I were to return to Siena, I would book again at Podere Le Vigne.

Ideal place to visit Siena, you can reach it on foot in 20 minutes. The house is immersed in greenery and silence, which is why I chose this B&B. Clean structure in typical Tuscan style. The garden was much appreciated by our little dog. The 4-bed room had a sofa bed which was quite comfortable. The kind owner provided us with necessary information. The breakfast was basic, I enjoyed the homemade lactose-free sweets. The position is excellent since in Siena you cannot enter by car, it's great for moving around, either 5 minutes by car or for those who prefer public transportation. We will come back. The only flaw is the lack of a POS.

Podere Le Vigne is located just a few minutes from the gates of the city of Siena. It is a fabulous place to spend a pleasant overnight stay. Podere Le Vigne is splendid, surrounded by nature but just 2 steps from the city. Great for exploring the area. The room is comfortable. We stayed for two nights with my girlfriend in this establishment, very kind and hospitable the owner, excellent the structure, excellent location from the center of Siena, unfortunately the only flaw was the cold that didn't let us sleep well because the heating was turned on for a very short time!\nI'm sorry because with a little more effort a difference could have been made and a better service could have been provided.

The B&B is immersed in greenery, the area is very quiet and is strategically located near Porta Tufi, you can reach the historic center on foot or by taking the bus, the stop is a few steps away but at the same time it is also very close to the highway. We stayed at this Bed and Breakfast with our daughter and the true Tuscan atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The location is convenient for visiting both Siena and the nearby villages. The service is really kind and attentive, the cakes served at breakfast are delicious, maybe a bit more variety was missing. The room is spacious, while the bathroom was a bit small. Overall we had a very good time.

We stayed for the first time in April and returned at the end of August: the property is very beautiful, in the countryside but only a few minutes from the center of Siena. Excellent location and easily accessible from the highway exit. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Also excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and jams. Federica, the owner, is very kind and helpful. We had a small problem and without asking anything she gave us a discount on the room price. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed for 4 days at the beginning of May 2018. The owner was very kind and very helpful in recommending restaurants, parking lots, and places to visit. The breakfast is plentiful and above all they serve homemade products that in my opinion make the difference. The atmosphere is very familiar and clean. The structure is just outside the center, but very close, and I recommend taking the bus that stops right in front of the structure and runs every 15 minutes; in 5 minutes it takes you to the center for 1.20 euros! We recommend the structure to everyone.

The place is very beautiful (both the internal structure, the garden, and the greenery in which the B&B is immersed) but the real gem of the place is Federica and her mother: simply fantastic! They manage Podere Le Vigne with passion and are very attentive to the guests' needs. Breakfast is a special moment, eating homemade sweets, the girls immerse their guests in the Sienese atmosphere, telling city anecdotes with sympathy and lightness. I stayed with my family at Podere Le Vigne during the December 8th long weekend and I must say we had a great time. Federica and her mom are very welcoming and helpful towards their guests. The farmhouse has an exceptional location, being immersed in the green countryside but just outside the walls of Siena, which is therefore also reachable on foot. The furnishings are typical Tuscan style, very warm, and the breakfast is abundant and rich in homemade specialties such as various types of cakes and delicious jams. The advice from our hosts was invaluable for enjoying the beauties of this wonderful territory.
