La Maison de Marta is a very nice and new property located in the Prati area a very stylish, neat and safe neighborhood just a few blocks away from the Vatican Museums and the St. Peter's Basilica.

The town house is in a strategic position, just a stone throw away from Castel Sant'Angelo and about 50 meters from Piazza Cavour and not more than 500 meters to Via del Corso - Spanish steps !
Very good conection from Rome Fiumicino airport with the shuttle bus which stops in the front of our door !!!
You can easily reach all the main historic and cultural sites in Rome since this lovely town house is ideally situated 200 meters from Lepanto metro station: you will reach the Spanish steps, Trevi's Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo, Trastevere and the Vatican as rapidly as snapping your fingers! There are plenty of affordable trattorias and gelaterias on all sides so you can try a new place every day.

Our rooms are completely air-conditioned, with Free Wi-Fi Connection
The multilingual staff is at your disposal 24/7 so feel free to ask for luggage deposit, a free city map, some relevant suggestions about tours and events of the Eternal City.

The Italian breakfast, not included in the room price, is served in the Café (Bar) next to our guest house without time restriction and a very nice view to the new Piazza Cavour.

Friendly, helpful, clean, convenient, character. Good AC, elevator. My only comment would be the there is just a handheld shower in a tub, rather than a full shower, but that’s what I would expect from a historic building. Loved our stay here!

Great accommodation! The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. The location was central and close enough to walk to a lot of the sightseeing spots in Rome. The Cafe across the street has great cappuccinos!

Excellent location very near the Vatican and many other attractions. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Our host was so helpful, providing us with a detailed map when we arrived, along with recommendations for bus routes and how to get around, places to eat, and things to see and do. Our room faced the courtyard so it was relatively quiet, although the street is not especially busy/noisy. At first we opted not to purchase the breakfast ticket (which was to be used at a cafe across the street) because we wanted to try different places. However, after remembering that Italian breakfast is normally just a pastry and coffee no matter where we went, we opted for the very economical tickets which provided a hot drink and pastry for the two of us for just 4 euros. Without the ticket the same breakfast cost us 9 euros. So do purchase the tickets as you will get the same breakfast for less than half the price. Internet connection was very good here, which was not our experience at many other places we stayed. All around excellent value for the money, and we would definitely return to stay here again.

The Guest house was in an excellent location for all Rome especially the Vatican and surrounding areas Oveidio was an excellent host with plenty of tips.

Nice rooms, next to the river. Marta was really kind and we also got a lot of informations from the guy at the reception (traffic, restaurants, maps). Breakfast is for plus 2euro/person in the next bar...a croissant and a coffee, it was nice but we needed to eat somewhere else too.

A perfect place in a perfect location with a perfect host (thanks Ovidio). Great for strollin' around, only a few minutes from St. Peter and Castel Sant'Angelo. A supermarket just on the opposite side of the street is super pleasant and practical. The accomodation was absolute silent with a room to an inner court. We had the smallest room, but absolutely sufficient with a good bed/mattress and everything in working condition. We had a great time and we totally recommend it! :-)

Its a wonderful palazzo very close to piazza cavour. You can walk to Vatican and Navona, Pantheon all in 15-min by foot. Ovide is very charming and helpful. the romms are charming and the house is just magnificent. Rome at its best. looking forward to come back - Peter (Berlin)

Quand nous sommes arrivés à la maison de Marta, nous avons été époustouflés par la grande porte en bois et l'entrée majestueuse. Puis un ascenseur à l'ancienne plein de charme. Ovidio nous a accueilli avec chaleur et bonne humeur. D'ailleurs, il a été aux petits soins pour nous et nous a bien aidé lorsque notre flixbus a été annulé et que nous sommes restés une nuit de plus. Il parle un français parfait et nous a conseillé sur nos visites, le trajet à effectuer...Nous tenons à le remercier chaleureusement pour sa gentillesse et nous remercions aussi ses collègues qui ont pris soin de notre chambre. Chambre avec beaucoup de charme et la clim ! Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Quel plaisir d'aller prendre le petit déjeuner tous les matins à la terrasse du Grand Café face à la splendide piazza Cavour ! La Maison de Marta est idéalement située, près du Castel Sant'Angelo et pas loin du Vatican et de la piazza Navona. Nous avons fait toutes nos visites à pieds, sauf pour le Colisée. La Maison de Marta est à 30 minutes de l'aéroport en navette. Nous sommes rentrés en France des étoiles plein les yeux et une chose est sûre, nous reviendrons. Ciao !

Super séjour. Nous avions la petite chambre, malgré tout nous étions très bien, chambre très propre, clim’ fonctionnelle, de quoi recharger les batteries pour repartir ! Quartier idéal, au calme des touristes, et fréquentés par les Romains. Nous avons tout fait à pieds. Idéal pour Vatican. Petits dej pris dans lés café voisins, c’était super ! Encore bravo pour la qualité de vos chambres et votre gentillesse et disponibilité. Merci.

La maison d'hôte est bien située, à 10-15 minutes à pied de différents sites et bien desservie par les transports en commun. Les chambres sont propres et agréables et la propriétaire et le personnel sont très accueillants et disponibles, merci à eux. Très bon rapport qualité prix. En cas de nouvelle visite à Rome, nous reviendrons chez Martha avec plaisir.

Excelente experiencia en Marta Guest Haouse. Es la segunda vez que vamos. La atención personalizada (de Ovidio y Marta) es espectacular. La relación precio-servicio es óptima. Ni nos imaginamos pasar por Roma y no ir. Ojalá puedan mejorar el servicio de desayuno y volver a lo que era antes de la pandemia.

Nos alojamos con mi esposo durante cinco días. La estadía fue maravillosa. El espacio tiene todo lo que se necesita para pasarla confortable: aire, excelente internet, frigobar, caja fuerte, sin dejar de lado la ubicación inmejorable: tranquila, llena de lugares para comer, tomar algo, comprar y cerca de donde uno quiera, si no caminando con colectivos a una cuadra de distancia, incluso el que llega al aeropuerto. Felicitar a Marta por su hospitalidad, a Sonia por su trabajo y atención y a Ovidio (quien habla varias lenguas) por todo lo que hizo para que nuestra estadía fuera perfecta: indicaciones, consejos, generosidad. Ama lo que hace y eso le da un plus al lugar en que trabaja. Como sugerencia: no dejaría de efectuar tareas de mantenimiento a algunas partes del alojamiento que lo necesitan por la época en que fue construido y mejoraría el desayuno, sea en el hotel o afuera. No cabe duda de que lo voy a recomendar a quien vaya a Roma, incluso a la agencia de viajes que donde compré los pasajes. ¡Felicitaciones y, otra vez, gracias!Nos sentimos en casa.

Fantastico. Molto pulito e i gestori davvero gentili e premurosi. Mi hanno guidato passo passo per gli autobus, per cosa visitare ecc. L'ultimo giorno addirittura mi ha accompagnato alla fermata dell'autobus portando lui la valigia e aspettando finché non fossi salita. Che dire, davvero consigliato. Posizione strategica proprio in centro.

Ho utilizzato la struttura per un impegno lavorativo ed essendo praticamente accanto alla Corte di Cassazione per me è stata una soluzione comodissima. Il personale è gentilissimo (la sig.ra Marta ha addirittura atteso per strada che arrivassi tenendomi un parcheggio che si era nel frattempo liberato) e le stanze, anche se piccole, sono ben tenute. Soluzione ottimale anche per chi volesse trascorrere qualche giorno a due passi dalle mete più turistiche della capitale.

Camera matrimoniale di dimensioni giuste, eccezione per il bagno alquanto ristretto, ma per il resto la camera è vivibile, se poi si considera che a Roma in camera si va solo per riposare... Collocato in una posizione perfetta e dotato di tutte le comodità: parcheggio a 50 mt, bar, fermata dei bus, trattorie e supermercati praticamente ad un passo e situato in pieno centro, il che permette di visitare tutto andando tranquillamente anche a piedi. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo e accettano gli animali, noi avevamo un cagnolino di piccola taglia. Considerando tutte le comodità a portata di mano e la posizione in pieno centro, i prezzi sono più che ragionevoli. Credo proprio che lo terrò presente per i prossimi viaggi nella capitale del mondo.

Credo che i punti forti della Maison de Marta siano la gentilezza, l'accoglienza, la disponibilità dei gestori. Questi aspetti riescono a diventare prioritari rispetto a tutto, in quanto davvero unici e speciali. Gli arredi e soprattutto gli infissi sono un po' datati e forse anche con risorse limitate potrebbero essere migliorati offrendo un impatto migliore, ma pavimenti, lenzuola, asciugamani e bagno sono in ordine, pur nella loro semplicità. La posizione è davvero molto comoda. Non ben segnalato invece il fatto che il B&B si trovi all'interno di un palazzo e non vi siano targhe o insegne esterne (esse sono oltre il portone che di sera viene chiuso), forse si potrebbe rimediare con facilità. Ribadisco l'impagabile cordialità dei gestori (proprietari?), capaci di farti sentire davvero a casa e coccolati, non solo trattati con professionalità (e questo fa davvero la differenza!). Eccellente B&B praticamente in centro, appena dietro Castel Sant'Angelo e la Corte di Cassazione, eccellenti camere arredate con gusto, gestori cordiali ed efficienti. Assolutamente da consigliare ed in caso di ritorno a Roma, sceglierò sicuramente ancora la Maison de Marta! Unico piccolo "difetto", la colazione effettuabile in un bar convenzionato e non nel bel B&B. Dulcis in fundo, accettano animali, cosa che purtroppo ancora in parecchi non accettano, quindi un motivo in più per dare un ottimo voto alla struttura!

Ho soggiornato tre notti in questa struttura con la mia bambina e devo dire che ci tornerò molto volentieri. La posizione è centrale e comoda a raggiungere i principali luoghi turistici da visitare, con tutti i servizi, negozi, supermercati, ristoranti e bar, metro e fermate autobus a portata di mano. I gestori sono molto disponibili, gentili e ti sanno dare tutte le informazioni necessarie. La camera è pulita e silenziosa. Di notte non si sente alcun rumore. Direi assolutamente da andare se si vuole visitare Roma comodamente!

Posizione ottima, con una passeggiata di pochi minuti si possono raggiungere Vaticano, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi e numerose altre mete turistiche. Ovidio è molto gentile e disponibile a spiegare come muoversi nella città e cosa visitare. La stanza era ampia e pulita, bagno ok. Grazie alla posizione ottima siamo riusciti a visitare tutte le principali mete (musei, monumenti ecc) in soli 4 giorni. Consigliatissimo.

Il personale è complessivamente gentile, ma non è così per la signora che lo gestisce. Il lavandino non scaricava bene l'acqua e l'asciugamano trovato era sporco e bucato (detto al personale, è stato subito sostituito). La carta igienica era appoggiata al porta-asciugamani e non aveva un suo porta-rotolo. Inoltre mancavano piani d'appoggio per beauty/accessori bagno. Di notte si sente molto rumore. Io non ci tornerei più.
