Our short staying in B&B Marina Mergellina was wonderful and our hostess was helpful and made a lot of suggestions to discover Naples. The room was very comfortable and not noisy even during the Napoli football night on May 23/24. The breakfast was in a very nice place on the terrace with attractive views (seaside, Capri, Vesuvius). Thank you again Marina for such comfortable accommodation.

The host, Marina, is a very nice and interesting person who can provide a local perspective on Napoli as well as practical information for your visit. The breakfasts were just as I wanted and were worth it just for the view from the balcony. \nI found the location convenient for all my travels, including to Pompeii. Highly recommended.

Italy, and Naples in particular, is a place I have a love/hate relationship with. I grew up with a strong interest in Italy and Naples ignited by the book Education of Love, but I was also worried about the bad rumours about the mafia etc. But this B&B has allayed almost all my fears and made me feel at home in Naples. On the first night of my stay Marina Mergellina gave me a detailed tour plan and patiently marked it on a map so I had a scientific yet relaxing tour the next day. I must also praise the additional service of Marina Mergellina who printed my Ryanair boarding pass for free. The location of the room was perfect, with a metro station and supermarket nearby, and close to the beach and park, with easy access to all the infrastructure. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a microwave and fridge included. The balcony in the room also made me very comfortable. For breakfast, I was impressed by the clean and fresh breakfast which included tea, coffee, milk, jam, bread, cantaloupe, biscuits etc. Enjoying breakfast on Marina Mergellina's balcony facing the sea was probably the most enjoyable moment of all my trip. There are many more little details to boast about. I am a stickler for details and I loved how strict and attentive Marina Mergellina was to the covid so that I felt at ease, I also loved the power converter that Marina Mergellina provided and she always helped with all the difficulties. I hope to come back to Naples and stay at Marina Mergellina again!

Marina is a very friendly host and the apartment is small but nice. You feel like a local and after just a short walk you are at the promenade in the heart of the city!

The structure is located in a strategic area, in a well-maintained condominium, close to the metro station. The room with bathroom is well kept and clean. The balcony in the room does not provide a sea view. Excellent the presence of a microwave and fridge. The furniture is a bit dated. A small repair intervention wouldn't hurt. We reported a towel holder that needs to be fixed in the bathroom. Mrs. Marina is very kind and hospitable. She provided us with all the advice on places to visit and where to eat. She informed us in advance that in her absence breakfast would only be offered on holidays.

Proprio per questo ho 2 PREZZI: con e senza colazione, infatti chi viene da me paga la colazione solo se effettivamente la riceve (molti scelgono la formula senza colazione anche quando questa è disponibile, ad esempio), come voi che infatti ne avete pagata solo 1. L'appartamento è stato ridipinto a settembre 2024, la manutenzione, così come le innovazioni, vengono fatte costantemente nel tempo: se mi segnalate cosa c'è che necessita di riparazione, la riparazione viene effettuata immediatamente (come è avvenuto per il portasciugamani). L'arredamento è datato ma di design: sono tutti pezzi di valore, no Ikea.

COVID-19 UPDATE At B&B Marina Mergellina neatness has always been a point of pride. . following the "Covid-19" emergency, the meticulousness in cleaning has become even more rigorous. At each guest change the structure is disinfected and sanitized as follows. - Bed linen and towels are washed at 90°C with sanitizing detergent - The washable surfaces are treated with disinfectant products, with particular attention to handles, switches, remote controls, dispensers, shutters, drawers - Bathroom fixture are washed and disinfected, toilet roll is replaced - The floors are washed with disinfectant - Spaces are ventilated - Cleaning is carried out wearing gloves and mask Guests will find hygienizing gel and soap. You can relax and enjoy the B&B safely, because we really take care of everything!

Located in a quiet, central neighbourhood (Chiaia, area of Mergellina) and in a silent, elegant building, B&B Marina Mergellina is the perfect place to stay in Naples and the ideal starting point for exploring the city.

All main interest points may be reached on foot or by bus/subway/railway: “Mergellina” subway station and “Corso Vittorio Emanuele” cumana railway stop are both within 250 meters. Therefore Pozzuoli and the Phlegrean Fields, Pompeii and the Vesuvius are all easily reachable by train. Mergellina harbour, where the hydrofoils for Ischia leave, is about 10 minutes away on foot.

It is easily accessible by public transports (bus, subway, Cumana railway) and by car (it is outside pedestrian zones). Several garages are very close, and parking spots can be easily found right outside the B&B (free at night).
