The Bed & Breakfast Ancora del Chianti offers double rooms with private bathroom in the heart of Chianti Classico. Our farmhouse is situated on a hill top near Greve in Chianti (5km) and it is surrounded by our vineyards and our olivegrove as well as by a panoramic and peaceful garden that invites you to relax and regenerate. The hammocks will do their part..and you will be grateful.

Laura will be happy to prepare breakfast in the morning on the terrace under the pergola and serves homemade cakes, fruit juices, cereals, muesli, cheeses, meats, jams, biscuits etc.

All the rooms are on the ground floor and have a private area with table and chairs to enjoy the garden and peace. In addition, each room has tea & coffee facilities and a little surprise..Each room has its own style and dominant color even if the flowers and the watercolors by Laura are the common thread.

Guests will also find a co-use practical kitchen with stove and fridge if you want to prepare a lunch or a dinner by candlelight in the garden. In fact, around the house there are large areas with tables and chairs separated for relaxation and privacy.

Our stay was wonderful. It's a beautiful property with a very kind host, Laura, and I will never forget her beautiful mama opening the shutters in the early morning while I was taking photos of the sunrise. She leaned out and said 'good morning' (in Italian), blew me a kiss, and I blew one back. Unforgettable moment. I loved every moment! 😘💛

Really enjoyed our stay. Laura was a very welcoming host and made our stay very enjoyable. She also booked us on an olive oil tour and tasting as well as a tour of a castle owned by a family that produces very fine wines (Verrazzano) and they served us a fantastic lunch.

The ex Farm is freshly redecorated in style. Laura charms everyone and is very knowledgeable on the surroundings.\n\nAlexandra serves the best breakfast at one big table and entertains the guests so that everyone starts talking. The best B&B we stayed at.

This haven of peace, ideally located to discover Tuscany and especially Chianti, is run by Laura who knows how to warmly welcome you and give you advice. What a luck to be able to come back in the evening after our excursions to the quiet of this beautiful property with a breathtaking view of the olive trees and vineyards.

Although the hotel's location is somewhat far from the town, it is situated in a wonderful place, with spectacular views where you can enjoy nature and the tranquility of the countryside. The lovely treatment of its owner Laura, who is always attentive to your needs, is remarkable. We will definitely come back!

The garden is very beautiful, with some very panoramic areas, and well equipped with tables, chairs, benches, deck chairs, sunbeds, distributed in different areas, so that each guest can choose whether to isolate themselves from others, or socialize on the terrace also used for breakfast. The road to get there in some stretches is very narrow, but fortunately it is rare to meet other cars.

We unfortunately stayed only one night at this property but it was a spectacular experience that we will definitely repeat very soon. Laura and Debora were very kind and professional, the room and everything in general extremely clean, well furnished, and nothing left to chance. Breathtaking view, and a very suggestive breakfast in a veranda outdoors immersed in the quietness. To reach the property, you have to take a dirt road, but nothing impossible, it's worth it. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Excellent facility in the heart of Chianti. The owners and Alessandra were very welcoming and helpful. Alessandra's cakes for breakfast were fantastic.\n\nTo reach the B&B, you have to drive along a long dirt road but it's worth it considering the magnificent view you enjoy once you arrive.

Ciao da Laura

Laura takes care of the B & B and guests. In her spare time she likes to sew colorful fabric bags with remnants and recycled materials and paints watercolors for over 20 years. Her passions are cooking, reading and gardening. Filippo is devoted to vineyards and olive trees and play the trumpet in the marching band Banda Filarmonica of Panzano in Chianti. On Tuesday evening you find him at the soccer field.

Ancora del Chianti B&B is in a central location, perfect for exploring Tuscany. The art cities (Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Cortona, etc.) are easily accessible and can be visited in one day. From Greve in Chianti starts a convenient bus to Florence and you will get to Florence...with the chauffeur! Without problems of traffic and parking. In the area we suggest you visits the medieval villages through scenic country roads as Greve in Chianti, Montefioralle, Panzano in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti and farm visits with wine tours and oil tour as well as visits to the manufactures of cotto of Impruneta. But most of all, after the visits we invite you to relax in our garden with a view of flowers, olives and vineyards.
