Beautiful farm-style accommodations centrally located in Friuli. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Nice country walks all around, and great terrain for biking. Only issue is weak internet for calls or video.

The host is rude. The location is wonderful with panoramic views. Our double room was very small and basic, which would have been ok if we could have enjoyed the expansive property to sit, look at the beautiful view and spend time. Unfortunately for us, the owner was hosting a private event on the property for about 80 people when we arrived, and the people and the event took up the entire property. We could not enjoy the beautiful, normally quiet setting due to this event. Parking upon arrival was nonexistent. People were milling all over the property, so no space was maintained separately for the guests. It was, basically, a very bad experience. They should have told us about this event when we booked the room, to give us the opportunity to decline to book. The event was going on from early afternoon - check in - until at least 8pm when the last event guests started to leave. So almost the entire time we could have enjoyed the property, it was full of people milling around, eating and drinking. We thought we weren't even going to even be able to have dinner there, but the owner moved all the people from the inside event to the lawn area, which then just made that area full of people - so instead of looking out at a beautiful view and peaceful lawn and setting, we were surrounded by people. It was a chaotic, noisy and a very bad experience, but the owner was unapologetic. I would recommend this property only if you check on whether an event is being hosted on the property the dates you are booking and if so, don't book. It completely spoiled the experience for us. Alberta, the staff, is helpful, friendly and provides excellent service. The owner, Allessandra, is rude, was totally unapologetic for the experience of her guests on that day of the event, and should probably not be in the hospitality business.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Casa Rossa, the wonderful view from our very nice room, the large and pleasantly landscaped gardens with their olive trees, the tasteful breakfast on the terrace and, last but not least, the dinner in the restaurant. Casa Rossa is a great find. It is located on a hill overlooking Ragogna and has a great view. The owner is very helpful and keeps the grounds and the rooms clean and up-to-date. Our every needs were fulfilled. We have stayed here 3 times and will return in the future.

The accommodation is very (!) quiet, clean, well located and has the charm of old houses (e.g., real wooden floor). Those arriving by bicycle will probably have to push the last (few) meters. This is the price for the wonderful view over the Tagliamento valley. \nThe staff is extremely friendly and speaks some German (but otherwise it's easy to manage). The breakfast is plentiful, varied, with locally produced specialties (e.g., various cakes). Coffee and eggs are prepared fresh and to order.

The accommodation is highly recommended. Unfortunately, we had to wait before we could check in, no one told us beforehand. The restaurant was also closed, and you can only get something to drink if someone is in the house (only from 17:00????). It's a shame because one would like to linger there with a drink. The location is truly unique. We were also very surprised that there were no olives for breakfast, even though the accommodation is an olive production. We would have liked to taste them.

From the hilltop, you have a great panoramic view of the countryside with olive trees, the mountains in the background, and the village of Ragogna with the Tagliamento River. The structure is very beautiful and well-kept, a treat to indulge in from time to time to escape the daily hustle and bustle. Excellent, tasty and varied breakfast. If I have to find something that I liked less, I would say only the mattress was a bit too soft. The most beautiful thing instead was the interior furnishings and the absolute kindness of the staff who welcomed us! A stay that I would recommend and hope to return to soon.

Criticism: the food was really very good, but there was no wine on the table before the meal, the staff never asked if anything was missing from the meal. Empty glasses in 2 hours. The dessert was not even offered. Simply they did not take care of us.

Really a beautiful Agriturismo, located on a hill above the town of San Giacomo with a panoramic view of San Daniele del Friuli. Great for a romantic summer weekend or for a bike excursion on the Arzino. The hospitality is excellent and the prices are below the quality of the stay. With the possibility of an exclusive dinner on the outdoor lawn surrounded by the green of the olive trees, and the breakfast, included in the overnight stay, really excellent with delicious homemade pastries. There is also a bike storage facility, which is the ideal way to enjoy the spectacle of these not yet very well-known places. The only note I feel like making is about the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, if needed the staff provides fans. Otherwise, we can't wait to go back, highly recommended!

Beautiful structure in a panoramic position with a view that extends from the mountains to the Friulian plain in front of San Daniele. You can taste excellent dishes prepared by the Chef with accuracy and using local products accompanied by a nice selection of wines. On the front lawn, it's possible to enjoy the cuisine and the panoramic view. The rooms are very cozy and well-kept. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of quality products also for people with gluten intolerance.
