We had lovely and relaxing two days. The family was very nice and welcoming and helpful. This is at the countryside, and therefore we choose to dine on site. As soon as we started to get the food out on the terrace, they came with tablecloth and light for the table. We also enjoyed the homemade cookies. The pool was clean and very refreshing. First of all, I want to thank this lovely family for the great attention they provide. It is a place that has all the conditions: nature, beauty, cleanliness, a lovely structure, the house, and its surroundings. The place is wonderful and well located for visits in the surrounding areas or just for relaxation. The structure is very beautiful and excellently maintained by Alessia's dad. As for hospitality, for Alessia and her parents, it is a particularly important aspect: you are greeted in a very friendly, polite, and never intrusive manner. Super breakfast in terms of abundance and quality, considering that Alessia's mom has never let us miss homemade sweets. We have just returned and already we have a desire to return again to this beautiful property. Alessia, the owner, and her parents welcomed us into their farmhouse making us feel like family; available to chat amiably under the pergola and to provide many useful indications on places to visit and restaurants where you can enjoy traditional local dishes. The property is in the countryside, near Castel Rigone, ideal for spending days in complete relaxation using the pool but at the same time a strategic point to visit the numerous locations that the area offers. We stayed at this splendid, meticulously maintained structure immersed in the countryside, welcomed by a lively and sweet little dog, joyful at every arrival! The landlady welcomes guests as if they were members of her family, assisted in this by parents full of energy and eagerness to be together. The room was large, rich in fragrant and refined details. The surrounding environment is uncontaminated and we enjoyed it from the much appreciated pool. What struck us most was the warm welcome and feeling at home. The breakfast was good and varied, the evenings under the shooting stars unforgettable, which we "city dwellers" had literally forgotten, accompanied by pleasant chats on the veranda. Wonderful stay, it is rare to meet special people like Alessia, Ida, Fabrizio and of course I also include their "little dog Tad". The structure is beautiful and well cared for in every detail, with attention to small and large details (very clean and fragrant rooms). In this old farmhouse you constantly feel pampered, and you would like to stay and chat with the owners for hours. With my wife Gianna, it is the second time we choose this facility in the span of 2 months. We were looking for peace and tranquility, and we found it in this beautiful farmhouse, 10 minutes from Lake Trasimeno. The surprise, however, was the welcome. Wonderful people of rare kindness. Alessia, the owner, precise and always present, her father Fabrizio generous with advice and directions. Followed like a shadow by his Breton "Tad", and finally excellent and varied the cakes of Ida. To see in the area, definitely Passignano 15 minutes away, Castiglion del Lago 25 minutes away, Cortona 30 minutes away. Two small notes: I would put mosquito nets in the rooms as well, and the Wi-Fi up to the edge of the pool.

Just for the cakes offered at breakfast, it is worth any trip to reach a place where everything is "exceptional". We wish to emphasize the kindness and welcome of Mrs. Alessia and her family, who allowed all of us, including our little dog, to feel at ease. The mattresses, cushions, and the silence of the surrounding countryside were for us the rest from the journey and the tourist trips in Umbria. The farmhouse is fantastic and the managers are fantastic. I have rarely encountered courtesy, kindness, and professionalism like at Antico Casale Umbro. It was a nice surprise because for us it was a stop on a trip from Sicily to Milan. Now that we know it, we recommend it warmly and we will certainly revisit it in the future for a vacation. A dive into the peace of the Umbrian hills. We take this opportunity to send a hug to Alessia and the whole family.

The attention to detail not only of the structure but also of its surroundings fully conveys the passion that the managers have for hospitality. It feels like being at home and it is a pity to leave. I recommend it to those who love to be immersed in nature surrounded by human warmth.

What can I say, if not that I felt perfectly at ease from the moment I arrived. Timeliness of information, availability beyond the norm from the manager, Fabrizio, a very friendly person and of a correctness that is rare today. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the nearby places, including Lake Trasimeno, without feeling suffocated by mass tourism.
