We stayed at the B&B Mare di Santa Lucia for 9 days and arranging the details for our arrival was very easy and Nunzio, our host, was very helpful with regards to information about bus services. We were greeted by his sister who was also very polite and helpful. The room was quite spacious and clean. However, there are many smaller details that were subpar. For example, the side door of the shower was broken and it was 'fixed' by closing the gap with an additional shower curtain.

Spacious rooms but one facing the street is noisy from early morning, well located property for walking and discovering the city, possibility to park at the bottom of the property, lovely owners. A bit expensive for the services in low season.

It is a very welcoming structure, located in a tactical crossroads both for moving around the city and for making trips outside Syracuse. From the B&B Mare di Santa Lucia, you can easily reach any attraction in the city on foot. The owner, Nunzio, was very kind and helpful, highly recommended.

The property is in a good location close to Ortigia, the historic center of Syracuse, and close to the archaeological park. Both are within walking distance or by bus. I did not receive a response through the site but I had to call to book.

Located just a short walk from the bus station, ten minutes from the Archaeological Park and Ortigia. Very pleasant and clean structure. Hearty breakfast and helpful, friendly, and polite managers. An excellent "base" to enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in Sicily!
