We had a couple of nights in La Maddalena staying at Stella Di Mare and the owners were really nice to us - I wish we could have stayed longer to soak up more of what the island had to offer. The B&B itself was very nice, the room was clean and the location was nice and quiet - a 10-minute walk from the harbor. Would happily recommend.

The photos show an inner courtyard where to have breakfast but we did not have access. We could help ourselves in the common kitchen but the choice was good. You have to park the car on the street. The center is easily accessible on foot (5-10 min) and the place is quite quiet. We were greeted by the owner's father who did not care if we spoke Italian. Luckily we managed because he gave us a whole speech on how the B&B works. It really seemed like we were bothering him. However, the location is good and the room, bathroom, and kitchen are more than enough for the holidays!

Pleasant stay.\n\nComfortable B&B, although a bit out of the way, but being out of the way means quiet.\n\nMassimo and Brigitte, the owners, provided us with all the useful information to enhance our stay on site. They even offered us, for a fee, a zodiac boat trip with the other guests for a reasonable amount, instead of just being 'tourist walkers'.\n\nVery generous breakfast. A kitchen available even allows for emergency cooking.\n\nGastronomic tips (restaurants not to be missed):\n- Il Rifugio dei Peccatori\n (below the B&B, good meats and local gastronomy, reservation required)\n- La Locanda del Mirto\n (on the heights, very good restaurant with fresh local products, quality service)\n- La Baracca\n (towards the military area. Unattractive outdoor setting, but a nice terrace inside, very fresh products and local cuisine).\n\nLa Maddalena is extra!

The manager is available and ready to give advice and accommodate requests. The room and bathroom were clean, the only downside being the uncomfortable mattress and pillows, and breakfast with supermarket snacks, bread, and out-of-season fruit like apples and oranges.

Clean and spacious room, well-furnished; large bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast was not included, but Mr. Massimo provided us with a coffee machine, cookies and sweets, water and soft drinks. The property is about a ten-minute drive from the center, parking is easily available in the area.

The structure is good, excellent location with parking in front, cleanliness of the premises is excellent, the manager is very available and attentive to our requests, breakfast is abundant, maybe too much! Value for money? Exceptional! A hug to Massimo. See you soon.
