I stayed for a week with a friend in the Il Salentino structure of Francesco located in L'Aquila. As for the location, I found it excellent, 10 minutes from Lecce where there is a lively nightlife, 25/30 minutes from Gallipoli as well as Otranto, the Grotta della Poesia. It's a great solution if you can't find anything in Gallipoli or nearby. The room is small but it's fine for two people, the only downside is that it has no windows, in fact it has two but they are very small so even if you eat a pizza, the smell remains due to poor ventilation. You can park your car outside as the area is very quiet. Francesco has been very helpful and kind from the beginning and throughout the stay.

B&B The Salentino Fabulous. We liked everything, Francesco and Serenella were great, we recommend it to everyone, excellent hygiene, service, courtesy, hospitality, kindness, all the comforts in the room are there, they don't miss anything, super breakfast. Maurizio and Anna Rita - Rieti - Italy.

Located in a particularly strategic position to quickly reach the most beautiful places in Salento, the bed and breakfast "Il Salentino" allows for a truly pleasant stay thanks to the structure and the highly efficient managers. "Il Salentino" offers modern, well-arranged, clean, and meticulously cared for rooms. The managers, in addition, are exquisitely courteous and welcoming people who make the stay in the wonderful Salento even more enjoyable by providing every morning a super abundant five-star breakfast rich in exquisite local specialties. Finally, I conclude by emphasizing the more than satisfactory quality/price ratio since Francesco and Serenella have thought of truly affordable prices for everyone to enjoy a delightful stay in one of the most admired beauties of Italy.

Certe recensioni non possono che farci piacere, superfluo ogni commento nel merito. Siamo partiti da pochi mesi e leggere queste righe ci motiva a fare ancora meglio. Non sappiamo se offriamo realmente un “servizio a 5 stelle” ma non è su questo che puntiamo come nostro primo obiettivo. I nostri sforzi sono maggiormente concentrati sull'accoglienza e nel far sentire ciascun ospite a casa propria, convinti come siamo che questo deve essere lo spirito principale che deve muovere chi cerca alloggio in un Bed and Breakfast. Se, in più, come in questo caso, gli ospiti sono anche rimasti contenti del servizio e del rapporto qualità/prezzo, lo devono a quella buona predisposizione presente in loro fin dall'arrivo e al feeling instaurato proprio per mezzo di un rapporto di accoglienza familiare che siamo riusciti ad offrire e che, evidentemente, é stato gradito. E dopo tutta questa pappardella. Non ci resta che dire grazie a chi ha impiegato il proprio tempo a scrivere queste righe per noi e per chi legge. Francesco e Serenella IL SALENTINO B&B.
