We had a very, very pleasant long weekend at Lo Djoua de Toueno. Everything was impeccable, flawless, the website does not lie. The breakfasts were very varied, we were spoiled. The decoration of the house is a chapter in itself: Lucrezia has a lot of taste and an eye for detail. The house is located in a quiet place, near the stream.... Arvier is a 10-minute drive away. Beautiful accommodation in a dreamy valley at about 1200 meters above sea level for those seeking peace and quiet. The owner speaks only Italian and French, but is very attentive and bakes magnificently. The rooms are unfortunately very noisy, otherwise everything was perfect and we would have liked to stay longer. Even the smaller room has a large bathroom, the space was more than enough.

Very well-kept B&B, clean and finely furnished, with a skillful use of wood and stone that conveys a homely feeling. We spent one night in the room with a veranda, which was also magnificently furnished and equipped, with a view of the garden. The style of the B&B faithfully reflects its owner (Mrs. Lucrezia), a distinguished and hospitable lady. The breakfast, personally prepared and served by Mrs. Lucrezia, was exceptional, with typical local products.

Staying at Lo Djoua de Toueno with Lucrezia and Antonio was an unforgettable experience. They managed to transform a dilapidated house in an abandoned village into an extraordinary place that transports you into a real fairy tale: a house in a valley surrounded by mountains on the riverbank with a beautiful bridge. They took care of every single detail of the structure to make it unique and unrepeatable: the structure, the furniture, the ornaments, the outdoor spaces, etc. Perfect balance between traditional Italo-Valdostan spirit and modern comfort. Impeccable cleanliness, abundant and exquisite breakfast with freshly made cakes by Lucrezia and the possibility to adapt to your needs. It's a pity that you cannot cook for other meals. The ideal place to rest and immerse yourself in nature. We can't wait to go back.

If I could have given higher ratings, I would have. Location immersed in greenery. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made our stay beautiful. Lucrezia with her breakfasts introduced us to the flavors of Valle d'Aosta with cheese tastings and delighted us with her homemade pastries and jams. The presence of Antonio and the little ones Vittoria and Flora is a plus. Absolutely recommended!

Perfect B&B for a relaxing break surrounded by nature. Also ideal as a starting point to drive to Valgrisenche and from there start beautiful walks in the mountains (Chalet de l'Epee refuge, Bezzi refuge, San Grato lake). Mrs. Lucrezia was always very kind and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, with top quality products. The room, furnished in a mountain style, was very clean and welcoming (too bad we couldn't use the fireplace, we'll have to come back in winter!). There is a large garden available, with sun loungers and benches to relax listening to the sound of the nearby stream. There is also a beautiful wooden gazebo closed by glass windows, in winter a stove is lit.

My partner and I have just spent two nights at this property, located about 20 minutes from Arvier. The house and rooms are wonderfully well-kept and clean, the alpine-style details dominate and make the atmosphere very welcoming. However, there are some aspects that, in our opinion, detract from the property or do not justify the price. First of all, not being able to be in contact with the outside world is a downside. It is true that one comes here to rest, but for those who wanted to stay here for work reasons, the property is not recommended. Not being able to make or receive a phone call, not being able to rely on wifi connectivity, we believe is quite penalizing. The second aspect concerns privacy. We stayed in the basement room, which has an external bathroom that is only divided from the stairs by a curtain that, as much as it can "shield", does not represent a real separation from the rest of the house. Acoustic isolation, first and foremost, is a problem. The last aspect to highlight is related to breakfast, which for the cost of the room per night is definitely not up to expectations. Mostly packaged products and a lack of choice of savory foods. The property is still very welcoming, the basement room is wonderful, and the owners are kind.

We stayed only for one night, unfortunately, but the welcome we received was excellent. The room is spacious, with a French bed, very comfortable even though it is slightly smaller than traditional beds. The bathroom is equipped with every comfort. Guests also have access to the large living room with a fireplace and TV where they can spend the evenings and where breakfast, which is excellent, is served. Mrs. Lucrezia is full of advice and attentions for guests. It feels like being at home.

I spent a weekend in December at Lo Djoua de Toueno. I think it is the most fairy-tale place I have ever seen. The exterior was all a blanket of snow dotted with animal tracks, which was fun to imagine which tracks belonged to whom. In the evening, it is possible to come across foxes and fawns, this is the most exciting aspect for me: the landscape in which the B&B is set. As for the house, you cannot expect a warmer, more charming, and quieter environment. The managers were very helpful. Nothing disappointed expectations; quite the contrary. I highly recommend it for a getaway in peace and nature. Ideal with a loved one!
