The B&B Casa Mariella is an ancient noble residence located in the immediate vicinity of Via Toledo and about 150 meters from Piazza del Plebiscito.

Casa Mariella has rooms with private bathroom, TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, air conditioning and heating. At guests' disposal: Towel set, courtesy set, toiletries, hairdryer and high chair.

Every morning a rich breakfast is served directly by the owners.

Our breakfast includes: milk, coffee, hot chocolate, barley, American coffee, variety of teas, cappuccino, fruit juices, jams, rusks, croissants, biscuits, butter, Nutella, honey, bread, yogurt and fruit. The B&B Casa Mariella, on request and free of charge, offers its guests intolerant to lactose or celiac very valid alternatives.

All products are served in single-dose packaging.

Places of art
We are within walking distance of the Real San Carlo Theater, the Umberto Gallery, the Maschio Angioino, the Royal Palace, Piazza Plebiscito and the Castel dell’Ovo.

A short walk along the pedestrian area of Via Toledo and in a few minutes you can reach the area of Spaccanapoli where you can visit the Sansevero Chapel, San Lorenzo Maggiore, S. Gregorio Armeno (the street of the shepherds) and underground Naples; the Chapel of the Pio Monte della Misericordia and the Cathedral where you can admire the famous Treasure of S. Gennaro.

Continuing on Via Toledo it is possible to reach the National Archaeological Museum.

From nearby Maschio Angioino there is the stationing of tourist buses that connect the center of Naples with the Capodimonte Museum, the Catacombs of San Gennaro and the Posillipo area.

Transportation
We are close to the main means of transport, reachable on foot and in a few minutes.

We are located just 150 meters from the Toledo metro stop a few steps from the Maritime Station and 20 meters from the central funicular of Naples which allows you to reach the Vomero district where the Certosa di San Martino and Castel Sant’Elmo are located.

With the subway in a few minutes you reach the Central station from where the connections to Caserta depart, where you can admire the Royal Palace of Caserta and the archaeological excavations of Herculaneum, Oplonti, Pompeii. From Naples Central Station you can also reach the Sorrento Coast.

We are also in the immediate vicinity of the maritime station, from where connections to the island of Capri, Ischia and Procida depart.

In the Pignasecca district, not far from our B&B, there is the Cumana station which in a few minutes allows you to reach the Mostra d’oltremare, the Maradona stadium and the Zoo.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Mariella. Great location for a visit to Naples. Easy access to the metro, with lots of great restaurants nearby. Clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. The hosts were the best part of the experience. Warm and friendly, they clearly loved hosting people. Great communication and many helpful recommendations. We would definitely stay here on future visits.

Very quiet and clean. The hosts were spectacular providing multiple options of baked goods each morning (fresh and packaged), having umbrellas available for guests to take as needed, and giving helpful insights for subway and taxi travel.

The host was quick to respond to messages and arranged breakfast earlier than scheduled so that we could go on a day trip. No air conditioning or fan in the dining area, too hot to drink coffee in summer. Maybe it's better to visit Naples in the cooler season.

We turned on the hot drinks dispenser for you the night before, we prepared breakfast for you, but we couldn't turn on the fan the night before for safety reasons. Wonderful accommodation with very kind hosts. The room was large and very clean, it had a nice balcony where you could see Mt Vesuvius. Location was fantastic, close to the port, Main Street and many wonderful sights, with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and hosts made me feel very comfortable and gave great suggestions. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice and big room, central area. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. The host is super nice and polite, always ready to help and give good tips for sightseeing. Breakfast is great, every morning a different traditional pastry, then fruits, yogurt, cereals, jams and 'fette biscottate', which I find quite impressive for an Airbnb. Overall, good value for money, and pleasant and friendly stay. Totally recommend for single travel as well as couples and families.

Rafaele and his wife, our hosts, were incredibly helpful, much like having neighbors next door, as they indeed lived next door. Rafaele was very resourceful, providing tips on where to eat on a budget as locals do, transportation, and answering tourist queries. To compensate for his English, he used his phone to translate. His enthusiastic translation efforts and thoughts were truly amazing. He remembered my request for extra pillows and had them ready upon our arrival. The passage for breakfast was wide, and it didn't feel like we were in a B&B but rather in a hotel. I do not usually tip, but I honestly felt like tipping them. I would love to stay there again. God bless them. The location is central with a good lift, and the best part is the very silent air conditioning. Words could not describe our stay. My wife did not complain but praised, which says something in itself. The atmosphere was lovely. He even had a place for smoking on the balcony without having to go far. The breakfast was the usual Italian style, with fresh sweet pastries.

This room is located in a spacious 4th floor apartment in the Quartieri Spagnoli. Area is a bit noisy, as you are in the middle of everything in Naples. Beds are comfy and ensure a good night's sleep after long walks in the city. Plenty of restaurants and popular brand shops in the surrounding area. The hosts are very friendly and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You also have a side view of Mount Vesuvius. Breakfast mainly consists of sweet products, so, for those not too keen on sweets (like us), this is a downside. Overall, it's a place I would recommend if you want to experience the vibe of this city.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful time staying here! We stayed for 2 nights and I wish it had been more. The hosts Raffaele and his wife are so kind. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. We were there after Naples won the soccer championship and it was very busy! Raffaele called multiple taxi services for us when we were leaving and taxis were nowhere to be found! Great place!

Direct access to via Toledo within 5 minutes walk from the subway station and 10 minutes to the port. The bedroom is clean with minimal equipment but it is very functional (hair dryer, kettle...). Hosts are very helpful and very kind. They spent time each day to give us advice regarding visits, restaurants and transportation. Before coming, they were very reactive on each question we had and booked for us the pick-up from and to the airport. Good breakfast with new and fresh pastries waiting for us every morning. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed my stay. Raffaele and Serafina were really welcoming hosts and provided all of the information and help I needed. The location is right in the middle of the Spanish Quarter. Toldeo metro station is a short walk away. You can also walk to the archaeological museum, the marina, Pignasecca market, the Old Town and the funicular railway very easily. The room had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. Really recommended.

The B&B Casa Mariella is an amazing place to stay in Naples. The location is perfect and very convenient, the bedroom and bathroom are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is incredible! Wonderful hosts! We stayed at Raffaelle and Serafina’s place at the recommendation of some friends who had visited a few months prior, and were extremely happy with our stay. Raffaelle was extremely kind and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely, the room was large and spacious, with high ceilings and a view of Mt. Vesuvius! The location was fantastic (and very safe), and I just cannot recommend this place enough. The AirBnBs that we stayed at later in our trip could not compare. This was a real BnB, and we felt welcomed into Naples and Italy like we were old friends.

Reiterating what many people have said before, the hosts at Casa Mariella are some of the most welcoming people we’ve met! They gave us personal recommendations and tips based on our itinerary and also upgraded us to the bigger room. Breakfast was great and the rooms themselves were well decorated and comfortable. Location was unbeatable as well—right off via Toledo.

Serafina and Rafaelle are warm, friendly, and helpful hosts. Their Casa is splendid, very spacious and clean, and right in the heart of the city. Close proximity to the pedestrian road for shopping, incredible cafes and wine bars, the Galleria, and the Bay of Naples (where you can lay out in the sunshine on the spectacular boulders and/or swim). Breakfast each morning was incredible, with much to choose from. I would absolutely recommend anyone stay here.

Our stay at Casa Mariella was a great experience! First, Serafina and Raffaelle were wonderfully kind toward our family! They made us feel at home and tried to help us enjoy our stay in Naples any way they could - directions, great restaurants, etc. Their B&B is in a great, safe location in Naples' Spanish Quarter (about 50 yards from the delicious pizzeria Ciro di Santa Brigada), and is next to the foot traffic of the busy Via Toledo. We were so comfortable at Casa Mariella (and the breakfast spread was delicious!) we wanted to stay in Naples longer. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds, and we even had a distant view of Mt. Vesuvius. Again, Raffaelle and Serafina make this place special and comfortable! We felt as though we were visiting old friends rather than staying in a hotel or B&B.

Everything is very good, the best is the location and the dedication of Raffaele, the person in charge. The only thing to correct might be the mattress of the bed. But it is a minimal detail and is highly recommended. Thank you Raffaele!

Great property! Located in the city center, very close to Piazza Plebiscito. Convenient also because near the Metro at Via Toledo (one of the main streets of the city, where you can shop). The owners were really very kind and helpful, they welcomed us warmly and courteously. The rooms were spotless and equipped with everything necessary, including a mini-fridge and kettle (with everything needed to make tea in full relaxation). The breakfast, although it didn't include savory items, was really very rich, starting with a fresh pastry and hot drinks of all kinds thanks to a professional machine, continuing with jams, snacks, cereals, fruit juices, bread to toast in the toaster, yogurt, rusks and much more; all presented and arranged with care and attention by Raffaele. In short, we felt pampered! Another plus, I asked for help to arrange a small surprise for my wife and Serafina went out of her way to accommodate me. Highly recommended!

Exceptional structure, right in the center, a few steps from Via Toledo and the main attractions. There was no need to take the car to visit the city. The owners were fantastic and very kind. They made themselves available for everything, making us feel at home. Raffaele is a delightful person, and they also paid special attention to my 1-year-old daughter by putting the crib in the room and the high chair at breakfast. We were pampered by the attentions: water always replenished in the room, the kettle, the welcome with limoncello and taralli in the room. In our case, we also received a bottle of sparkling wine and almond treats for the private New Year's toast. What can I say, we stayed 2 nights at Casa Mariella and we couldn't find a single flaw. Spacious, bright and clean room, excellent breakfast with typical products, perfect location to explore almost all of Naples on foot and a quality/price ratio that is hard to find elsewhere. My wife and I stayed for five nights and it was like staying with a friend. The property is located right in the center of Naples, convenient for exploring the city on foot and for access to restaurants, bars, etc. It is about a 5-minute walk from the Toledo metro stop. The room is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything necessary. The hosts, wife and husband, were very kind and attentive in providing all the necessary information regarding Naples and its surroundings. Breakfast always includes a typical Neapolitan sweet, different every morning, which definitely starts the day off well. Unfortunately, however, the rest of the breakfast consists solely of packaged products (croissants, cookies), while as for the drinks (coffee/cappuccino) there is only the presence of a classic automatic machine. But this is the only "sore" point, if we can say so, that we have found. Definitely a structure where we would stay again if we were to return to Naples.

I stayed at Casa Mariella in April. I had a great time. The structure is clean and well-served. The breakfast is abundant, the manager is friendly and super helpful. The bedroom has a TV and air conditioning, the bathroom has everything you need. Provided us with directions on what to see and how to reach the destinations, providing us with the city map. The structure is located in a well-served area, reachable by metro line 1 at the Toledo stop, directly from Napoli Centrale station. You can easily walk to reach some characteristic places of the city: Piazza Plebiscito, Castel dell'Ovo, Castel Nuovo, the Vomero and the shopping streets, as well as the Spaccanapoli area. The structure is located in the heart of the Spanish Quarters, in a side street of the central Via Toledo, a stone's throw from Piazza del Plebiscito and the "Toledo" metro stop on line 1. We stayed in this property for 4 days, we had a great time, Raffaele and Serafina were exceptional hosts, with their advice and care towards us they made us feel the welcoming atmosphere of this city from the very beginning. The property is very clean and well organized also for Covid regulations, located on the central Via Toledo, it is 5 minutes from Piazza del Plebiscito, from Spaccanapoli and from Maschio Angioino, 2 minutes from the Galleria and is practically attached to the funicular for Vomero. A true bed and breakfast with a plentiful breakfast. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

The welcome from the owners made our stay very pleasant, very clean B&B, the breakfast is great. Our room was tastefully furnished. I stayed with my daughter and the little dog during these Christmas holidays and I felt like a guest at a friend's house, pampered by the discreet and heartfelt care of Serafina and Raffaele. The location is strategic, as it is located in a traffic-free area and just one block from Via Toledo. The Italian breakfast is abundant and varied. The room reflects the hospitality of the hosts: in addition to everything needed for a peaceful stay (including an iron, which is not at all obvious), there was also everything needed to make yourself a hot tea outside the canonical breakfast time. First time in Naples for me and my friend and we stayed at this B&B for two nights, what can I say, the hosts were really hospitable from the first day, where Raffaele showed us what is worth visiting and always ready and available for every need. The B&B has only two rooms and is cared for in every detail, perfect cleanliness (even if we, two girls, left the room a bit messy), abundant breakfast with everything you need. The very large room is spacious and in the bathrooms the two hosts provide everything necessary, even a toothbrush and toothpaste. The location is also very central, a stone's throw from Piazza del Plebiscito and despite being a very busy area, being close to Via Toledo, it is very quiet. Also to deny the rumors about the Spanish quarters that have now become a tourist and commercial point, full of pizzerias, restaurants, and trattorias. In short, my friend and I had a really great time and if we come back to Naples we will definitely return here. We recommend this B&B to everyone! Thanks again Raffaele and Serafina for everything.

We found this Bed and Breakfast following the reviews and I must say we were very satisfied. Serafina and Raffaele made us feel at home. The room was very nice and clean. Great location just steps away from the metro, Piazza Plebiscito, and the funicular station to go up to Castel Sant'Elmo. We will definitely come back.

Holiday in Naples with a group of friends, destination this B&B. I must say that what is the highlight of Casa Mariella is the welcoming and human warmth shown by Sara and Raffaele from the moment of our arrival. Advice on what to see, where to go, and itineraries we hadn't even thought of. The cozy rooms where everything needed for a peaceful holiday is truly present. Going in a group as we did gives you the opportunity to have the entire property at your disposal, which made our holiday even more beautiful.

A fantastic stay. Taking advantage of an event at the San Carlo Theater, we also visited the city. The B&B is located in a truly fantastic position. Everything is reachable on foot or by metro and funicular, which are very close by. The room is really beautiful, it's hard to find an iron available to use in case of emergency. We were greeted with warmth and cordiality. Happy to have been there and hopeful to return soon.

For work reasons, I found myself staying at the Casa Mariella B&B. I felt right at home, with exceptional hospitality and warmth. The room was beautiful and had everything, I even found shaving foam. In the morning, I was served a breakfast that resembled a buffet from a large hotel. At least in my case, I appreciated the proximity of the subway, which was essential for me as I was in the city for work.
