Il Sogno di Tino is a fascinating historic residence located in the heart of the village of Cabernardi, within a building that dates back to the 1700s. This structure, an integral part of local history, has always been owned by the Caverni family and offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the colors and scents of the Marche region.
The facility overlooks the main street, while at the back lie the family grounds, a refuge of tranquility that allows for an appreciation of the link between past and present. The historical significance is also evident in the basement, where an ancient wooden wine press recalls the winemaking activities that once animated the residence. The two upper floors served as the main living quarters, embodying the daily life of past eras.
During the economic boom of the 1950s, linked to the mining industry, part of the ground floor was transformed into commercial spaces. However, with the mine's closure in 1956, the residence fell into neglect, experiencing a period of decay until Tino, one of the heirs, initiated the first renovation works in the 1980s. After his death in 1991, the building remained uninhabited until Loredana and her nephew Sergio decided to continue the recovery work, giving new life to this place steeped in stories.
Today, Il Sogno di Tino is a welcoming accommodation that combines elegance and comfort, with restored spaces that preserve the original furnishings and the authenticity of the wine press. Currently, there are two living units available: "Le Stanze della Lavanda," a complete apartment featuring a living room, kitchenette, and double bedroom, and "La Stanza del Glicine," a double room that offers a nook of serenity.
The residence is not just a refuge but also a starting point to discover the village and its surroundings. Located in the town center, guests have easy access to the Church, the Mining Museum, and local establishments such as Chicco and Fabiola's Emporium. The beauty of the Marche countryside frames a stay characterized by the combination of history, culture, and nature, inviting visitors to live an authentic and unforgettable experience.
