Terrible experience.We booked a double room with two beds.On the website there are only photographs of double beds. We knew that a sleeping area was on a mezzanine but assumed it would be usable. We found ourselves with a very low mezzanine where you can only move by crawling, with two small children's beds, uncomfortable and unstable one after the other, without bedside tables, without electrical outlets or light, with the air conditioner aimed at one of the two beds. The hostess initially did not show us the room and when we complained she said she had never considered the problem. That usually children stay there, even though when she saw us she did not mention it. The hostess is certainly a kind person, the breakfast was basic but the homemade cake was good. However, I don't think it's right to rent a room with two unusable beds. I repeat, terrible experience.

Really a splendid structure with all the necessary comforts, everything well taken care of in the smallest details, maximum privacy and magical and quiet place, suitable for resting and relaxing. \nA beautiful exclusive service in this bed & breakfast is a very convenient fountain in the garden that gushes drinkable water, very good and very fresh 24h a day, so anyone staying here, can stock up on water for the whole day!\nThe only flaw, unfortunately, is the breakfast, because it is all 'do it yourself with packaged products and a coffee machine. However, there is a splendid kitchen available with everything you need to have breakfast as you like.\n\nI absolutely recommend this B&B, because the quality/price ratio is unbeatable!

At the Ancient Village, a wonderful, welcoming and well-maintained structure. The lady welcomed us very warmly, nice and cute she made us feel at home. A quiet place to spend a weekend or even longer periods, given the proximity to cultural places of interest and not only. In fact, the structure is about 42 minutes from Lignano Sabbiadoro, an hour and a half from the famous Vajont dam, about half an hour from Udine and Palmanova, an hour from Redipuglia and an hour and a quarter from Trieste. Excellent starting point for trips to discover the history and natural beauties of the area.\n\nBut, back to the structure, It is a renovated village, maintaining its rustic beauty, with interiors like a chalet, all in light wood. Out of respect for the guests and to preserve the interiors with wooden stairs at their best, it is requested not to wear high-heeled shoes when going up or down the stairs. There is a specific place at the foot of them to leave them. The rooms are equipped with a TV, air conditioning, and private bathroom. The room with an internal staircase also has a wonderful private wood sauna.\n\nAvailable on the ground floor, kitchen and refrigerator, also on request it is possible to have bicycles.\n\nThe breakfast includes a coffee pod machine that dispenses coffee, cappuccino, tea, and other hot drinks. Packaged croissants, toast, jams, honey, single-serving Nutella, and apples are available. To be honest, from such a place I would have expected some homemade cake and a variety of fresh seasonal fruit... but on the other hand, you can take advantage of the kitchen available if you want something else for breakfast. Thank you for the pleasant weekend, we will definitely come back in winter to test the sauna!

For a Friulian from the diaspora, it was like going back to the grandparents' house. Welcoming, very well kept and renovated, a true Friulian house. Moreover, equipped with every comfort. There are even sheets with embroideries, like in the past. It is a self-managed structure, the managers are not visible (I don't know if it's better this way or not, maybe a visit at the time of check-in should be done) and hence the not very high rating. We booked a family group of 6 people to attend a wedding in San Vito. Mrs. Maria Grazia was extremely cordial, very kind, and extremely helpful in providing us with all the information we needed (restaurants, shops, etc.). The structure is wonderful also because it is beautifully furnished, almost entirely in wood (load-bearing structure, furniture, and furnishings) made by the lady's husband. In short, we had a great time and I think that when we come back to visit my brother-in-law, we will gladly return. Congratulations! Regards.
