We stayed one week in Roma Gianicolence with my 10 years old son. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with air condition, large bed, small fridge and bathroom. There was also a small common kitchenette. The building was peaceful to stay. The location was good! It was easy to travel to Piazza Venezia and Trastevere with tram number 8. We also used bus H from Termini straight to the accommodation. There is a hospital across the street and sometimes we heard the ambulances, but it was ok. The breakfast was served in the cafeteria nearby including cappuccino and sweet pastry of your own choice. Good start for the day. :) The owner was very kind and helpful. We even managed to communicate Italian with Google Translate. Shortly, Roma Gianicolence was worth of price! :)

Roberto is a very friendly host. He is generous in giving information about the neighborhood and public transport etc. He was also very kind to my 11-year-old son. \nBreakfast is not served in the apartment, but in a very nearby bar. However, our schedule made us skip it every day. That's why we can't give a rate to breakfast.

Great place to stay for a few days in Rome. They were so welcoming and helpful, especially Roberto who came to show me everything and they also promptly replaced a broken key on the first day. I would definitely stay here again. It's also in a good location. Trastevere train station is only a 15-minute walk and the 8 tram is one block away so it provides great access to the rest of the city.

Positive: You can easily get to the city with bus line 8. The accommodation is very clean. Trastevere is a great neighborhood. Negative: The apartment is covered with scaffolding with a visual barrier, you can NOT look outside at all, thus extremely dark. Right on the main road, due to the proximity to the hospital, there are a lot of ambulances with sirens in action. Breakfast consists of a croissant and a cappuccino in a cafe, if you want another cappuccino or a toast you have to pay for it separately, they might as well say that it's without breakfast. So more of a joke. But the cappuccino there is sensational.

Complete disaster. Here we were sold a single room as a double room. The photos on the internet and in the brochure are so retouched that one has the impression of being in a double room. This is misrepresentation. The size of the rooms was 8.5 to 9 sqm. There was no natural light either. If you opened the window, you looked at a scaffolding that was in a kind of atrium. Many disconnects in general. First of all, the room was different from the one chosen, much smaller and with a small window. Also, two or three days before arriving, they communicated that if the check-in is after 9.30 pm, an extra charge of 20 euros would be applied. This was not specified anywhere on the page, otherwise I would have taken precautions to arrive on time. They also asked me if I wanted to pay in cash or by card, I chose cash to access a discount they had mentioned to me. A day later they write to me saying that it was not possible because the website where the reservation was made did not allow this option. None of these things are a problem if communicated on time, and that was precisely the inconvenience, the poor communication. The room is adequate, clean, without a wardrobe but with an included bathroom. Regarding the common area, the kitchen is ok, the reception seems stuck in the 90s full of papers. The location is ok, not great but very close to the tram that takes you to the center in about 30 minutes. My recommendation: be clearer in communication. Regards!

Carissimo cliente le consiglio di leggere attentamente quando prenotate perché è specificato sulla prenotazione gli orari di check in e check out, quindi se legge che il check in è fino alle 21. 00 vuole dire che dopo non è possibile accedere oltre quell' orario, e mi sembra che lei non ha comunicato nessuna richiesta del genere al momento della prenotazione, non siamo noi che dobbiamo comunicare questo ma voi che dovete leggere gli orari di apertura e chiusura per tanto chi vuole entrare dopo quell' orario non solo lo deve comunicare prima ma anche deve chiedere se è possibile perché non sempre è scontato che possiamo, e oltre quell' orario diventa un servizio notturno a pagamento per la persona che viene appositamente nell'orario da voi richiesto per tanto dovrebbe essere lei a capire che è normale pagare un supplemento non essendo un hotel con la reception fissa. Per quanto riguarda le immagini della camera rispecchiano perfettamente la camera, forse lei ha visto altre foto delle camere più grandi e non ha capito quale era la sua camera prenotata.

Great value for money. Clean room with a private bathroom and excellent cleanliness. Located right in front of the San Camillo hospital. Tram stop just below the building and many shops of all kinds nearby. Don't expect luxury but it has the essentials and for a stay in the capital it can be more than adequate. No private parking; you park on the street where you can find a space. Breakfast is arranged at a good pastry shop 100 m away. In addition, the property provides cards for "affiliated" restaurants within walking distance. P.S. I would suggest the owner review the agreements or write the agreed discount on the back of the card because, by mentioning the property where you are staying, the restaurant does not give discounts, but it is well known and I confirm that "Dar bello de nonna" is top-notch.

Great accommodation for those who need to use the San Camillo Hospital or go to the city centre by taking the very convenient tram 8 that stops below the house and reaches Piazza Venezia, an important transport hub in the city. The owner, Loredana, is always kind and helpful. Having tried other accommodations in the same neighbourhood, I can safely say that in terms of location and cleanliness this is probably the best in the area. Recently she renovated the kitchen, showing a willingness to continue investing in the property and making the common areas even nicer. Highly recommended.

The structure, although not brand new, has that characteristic that makes it feel like home. Normally, I don't sleep well on the first night away due to changing beds, travel fatigue, etc., but here I must say I felt at home. Loredana is a wonderful, welcoming, smiling, and very empathetic person. Highly recommended.

For me, this is the second time I come to this B&B. I found it even better, renovated. I must say that I was very well and calm. The owner is always very kind and helpful. I had a very good experience in this establishment. The owner Loredana is friendly, kind, and very helpful. The room is very welcoming. We stayed in a group of five, two adults and three children. There is also a shared kitchen available. The place is a bit far from the center, but it is easily reachable by various buses. It is also feasible to walk, it takes about fifty minutes on foot from Trastevere. Regarding breakfast, the establishment is affiliated with a pastry bar two minutes away, where the food is excellent.

Perfect location, cleanliness and efficiency. However, being a Guesthouse, breakfast should be managed differently from a bar voucher, with a wider selection. The furnishing of the rooms could be improved and modernized.

I am super happy to have chosen the B&B Roma Gianicolense. The lady is very helpful, the cleanliness is excellent and it is close to the station. What can I say, more than satisfied! Excellent value for money.

Non mi è piaciuto per niente. Non è un B&B come si presenta, ma affitta camere. Tutto molto vecchio e non è tenuto bene. Eravamo in 3 e non ho potuto aprire nemmeno la valigia, non sapevo dove farlo, la stanza era molto ristretta. Inoltre, per la colazione bisognava andare al bar, compresa nel prezzo, ma al bar. Già non va bene. Sconsiglio.

Buongiorno signora nessuno dice che e' un b&b ,mi dispiace non gli sia piaciuto nulla dell'alloggio ma se non sbaglio come e' entrata mi ha pagato il pernotto e mi ha fatto anche i complimenti per la camera,rimango perplessa da quello che sta dicendo!la colazione al bar viene molto apprezzata dai miei clienti,invece di mangiare il solito mottino confezionato che danno tutte le strutture!inoltre il mobilio e' di ultima generazione e tenuto benenon e' niente vecchio,non so cosa intende per vecchio?diciamo che non avendo avvisato e risposto al telefono che andavate via prima non credo sia stato un comportamento corretto nei miei riguardi in quanto io devo sapere chi alloggia.

Structure in standard, clean and the owner easygoing. I allow myself a small note because it seems fair compared to other structures where maybe I have given higher ratings, the downside is the towels which, even if fragrant, were very old and blackened by time, I emphasize that they were clean but perhaps it's worth replacing them and buying new ones when they are very worn out. Regarding the bar where breakfast is served, they are very kind, I had seen previous reviews that said abundant breakfast... I would say that 1 cappuccino and 1 croissant is not abundant but normal, however, I commend the quality of the croissants which are truly fantastic, excellent choice of the structure in opting for the bar/pastry shop which is of quality, we also had lunch separately at our own expense and we were satisfied with the choice.

We really liked the 'Roma Gianicolense' not only for its very convenient location to reach any place in the city but also for everything it offered.
