We had an amazing stay in Sicily near Scicli. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by an olive grove that makes you feel instantly relaxed. Its location is perfect for exploring the area — just a short drive from Catania Airport and close to beautiful towns like Modica, Noto, Scicli, Ragusa, and the seaside. What truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts. They are some of the kindest and most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet. Every morning they prepared a delicious breakfast along with a perfect espresso to start the day — a simple touch that made the experience even more special. They also have many wonderful stories to share about life in Sicily, local traditions, and hidden places to visit. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for three nights in October with my two friends and had a really lovely time. The property sits in a peaceful olive field, but it’s still close to Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and plenty of small towns to explore. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A calm, cozy base for discovering this beautiful part of Sicily - highly recommend!

Coming from London, I wanted a place where I could completely relax and unwind. What an incredible stay at La Valle dei Carrubi! I booked last minute and was so impressed by this treasure of a property. It’s off the beaten path and is a perfect place to have a moment of reflection, enjoy the open space and be at one with nature. Cinzia and James made me feel so welcome, and took great care of me. Gorgeous breakfast, clean spacious room, the shower/water pressure was fantastic (so important for me). I would absolutely stay at La Valle dei Carrubi again, thank you dears x.

We stayed with Cinzia and James in Scicli for a few days. We are three colleagues looking for relaxation and new bike adventures, away from the Romagna roads for once. We could not have made a better choice. We rented three gravel bikes and from Scicli we explored the entire coast, from Playa Grande to Pozzallo, passing through Modica, Noto, Syracuse and as far as Marzamemi. Each stop was an unforgettable experience: spectacular sea (we even treated ourselves to a swim in Marzamemi and Sampieri), unique art cities and always divine lunches in every trattoria or restaurant we found along the way. The Valle dei Carrubi was our perfect base: very clean rooms, cozy and well cared for in the details. Every morning we were greeted by an amazing breakfast, with every delicacy, which gave us the right energy to set off in high spirits. The hospitality of Cinzia and James went beyond our expectations: always smiling, helpful and ready to give us excellent advice on cycle-tour routes and the most beautiful stops not to be missed. A stay that regenerated our spirits and made us feel at home, if not better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will return soon: the next bike adventure will be towards Agrigento and of course we cannot wait to see you again.

I stayed with my mother at Valle dei Carrubi for two nights and we had a wonderful time. The agriturismo is located in a peaceful setting, surrounded by almond, carob and olive trees, yet at the same time a short drive (15/20 minutes) from Scicli, Ragusa, Modica and the sea. Cinzia and James are welcoming, thoughtful and discreet people who always made sure we lacked nothing. Their hospitality, together with the strategic location, are the strengths of this wonderful place. The breakfasts prepared by Cinzia and served under the porch were particularly special. The rooms are new, very clean, bright and tastefully furnished. We would love to return in spring when the whole orchard is in bloom. Ilaria and Cristina.

A corner of paradise near Scicli. We spent an unforgettable stay at this wonderful B&B surrounded by Sicilian nature. From the first moment, Cinzia and James welcomed us with rare kindness and availability: they are two genuine, passionate people, and you can sense it in every detail of their little corner of paradise. The property is surrounded by greenery, a place where you can truly breathe peace. The rooms are spacious, bright and perfectly clean, cared for with taste and attention. Breakfast? Simply exceptional! Everything was fresh and delicious, from ripe figs picked straight from the trees to the honey they produce themselves: a real treat to start the day with a smile. We stayed two days with Cinzia and James in this brand-new property, immersed in the greenery, with incredible peace, in a strategic location for the wonderful towns of southern Sicily and for the sea. Very clean rooms, a wonderful shower, a super abundant breakfast with local products. We will definitely return also for the pleasure of meeting Cinzia and James again, masters of hospitality and friendliness. Highly recommended.

Enchanting place where you have the opportunity to reset your mind and leave the everyday life outside, to be welcomed in a countryside valley where, almost magically, a light breeze accompanies you even in the hottest hours. The chirping of cicadas, the twittering of swallows, and the starry skies are just some of the elements that characterize this place. Because then there are the olive trees, the carob trees, the beehives, the golden color of the fields, and the blue sky. A special thanks to Cinzia and James, kind, attentive, and always ready to give valuable advice to enjoy the area to the fullest. The green of the countryside, the clean air, and the absolute quiet make this place a true refuge for the soul. Welcoming us with warmth and kindness were James and Cinzia, two extraordinary people. James, originally from England, and Cinzia, with her all-Italian heart, have lived in the UK for a long time and speak perfect English, Spanish, and of course Italian. A true resource for anyone coming from outside! Every morning we felt pampered like family thanks to the breakfasts prepared by Cinzia: a triumph of authentic flavors, with local products from zero kilometers, from fresh ricotta to typical cheeses, to homemade jams made with love and skill. Every detail speaks of care, passion, and authenticity. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic experience, away from mass tourism, in an oasis of tranquility and beauty.
