Our B&B is situated in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the historic heart of the city called The New Venice. "Dogana D'Acqua B&B" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, elegant design with attention to detail, a building of the past where the magic of history blends with modern amenities.

Travellers staying with us will be able to stroll and shop in the shopping streets, explore tradition and culture along your own delicious fine food and wine trail, explore cultural events and exhibitions.

Massimo and Annalise work really hard to make their guests welcome and ensure they have a great stay. They recommended things to do and how to get the best from our visit. We really enjoyed their company and the cutest son ever, Eugenio. The property is in a great location on the canals and is close to some excellent restaurants especially for fish dishes. The residence serves excellent breakfast with home made bread, yoghurt and cakes. We loved Livorno and the Dogana D'Acqua and would happily go back in the future. Thank you for an excellent experience.

The location is very central and within walking distance of all of the main things to do in Livorno. From the train station, it is a very short ride on the #1 bus to the Piazza Mazzini, and then a 7-10 min walk from there to the B&B. Property is very clean and well-kept, and Annalisa and Massimo were both very hospitable and gracious hosts. Thank you for opening up your home to travellers like me.

We had a nice week at the accommodation. It is worth mentioning that each room has its own bathroom with toilet and shower. Most of the beds were comfortable. The location is very quiet with a beautiful view. A supermarket is right nearby and the center is only a ten-minute walk away. A morning visit to the very nearby bar "Il Pontino" is highly recommended! The kitchen could be slightly better equipped. Also, a note that the second payment and deposit must be paid in cash only (and not by card) would have been good. Honi soit qui mal y pense. It's not pleasant to walk around with over 2000 € in cash. Otherwise, a completely successful stay.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung in guter Lage. Verkehrsgünstig sowohl zur Stadt, als auch zum Fährhafen. Besonders freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieter! Gemeinschaftsraum, Kühl- und Gefriermöglichkeit, Mineralwasser, Tee zum Empfang, Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Etwas teurer als B & B`s in anderen italienischen Orten.

War zwei Nächte im Mai 2016 hier: Die beiden Betreiber sind ganz zauberhafte, liebenswerte Menschen, die ihre Zimmer und ihre ganze Wohnung mit großem künstlerischen Verstand gestaltet haben, und sich riesige Mühe mit allem geben. Nachts sehr ruhig. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Auto kann vor der Haustüre geparkt werden. Würde jederzeit sehr gerne wieder hier sein! Großes Kompliment den beiden. - Die Fremdsprachen der beiden sind Deutsch und Englisch, es muss also nicht italienisch gesprochen werden.

Sehr saubere und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft in idealer Lage zur Fähre. Massimo hat uns überaus freundlich aufgenommen und sehr wertvolle Tips gegeben (Strand, Lokal, Fähre,...). Sehr liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück mit selbst gemachter Marmelade und Brot! Lieber Massimo, vielen Dank für alles. Wir kommen wieder.

Unfortunately we had some problems, like the burnt hairdryer that no one came to replace. I had to walk around with wet hair together with my baby to dry ourselves in a bathroom of another room. The towels were malodorous, like when you take out things still damp. But on the other hand the girl is very kind and the structure is really nice. Located in a fabulous place with the possibility of moving around without means for anything.

Grazie Michela per la recensione. Ci fa piacere che le sia piaciuta la nostra struttura, facciamo del nostro meglio per mantenerla sempre aggiornata. Ci spiace per il phon, sono apparecchi professionali da parete e non capita tutti i giorni che si bruci il motore. Essendo noi assenti per motivi familiari e vista l'ora serale, le abbiamo indicato la soluzione più immediata, cioè andare in una camera vicina quella sera libera ad asciugare i capelli e considerando che il 9 settembre non è pieno inverno ci sembra un disagio alquanto limitato...per quanto riguarda gli asciugamani, li abbiamo cambiati tutti quest'anno e vengono sanificati e messi in asciugatrice ma può essere che fossero rimasti un po' umidi, diremo alla nostra collaboratrice di prestare più attenzione. Siamo state a Livorno solo per una notte di passaggio. Il gestore ci ha accolte a tarda serata con estrema gentilezza. La mattina dopo, la moglie, ci ha accolte con ugual cortesia nella sala, bellissima, della colazione. Colazione squisita, camera molto bella e molto pulita. Consigliatissimo!

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia per quattro notti. Non posso dire nulla di negativo su questo meraviglioso b&b! Annalisa e Massimo sono due gestori piacevolissimi, disponibili e accoglienti. Abbiamo avuto tantissime informazioni su territorio e attività del posto. La struttura è molto bella e ciò che ci ha colpito è l'attenzione a tutti i particolari: camere arredate finemente, biancheria di ottima qualità, complementi d'arredo originali e ricercati. La colazione è stata davvero superba. Ogni mattina ci è stato proposto, oltre a biscotti, cereali, succhi e marmellate, anche yogurt fatto in casa e dolci superlativi sempre fatti in casa. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni a Livorno alloggiando presso il BB Dogana d'Acqua art è stata una bellissima esperienza Massimo e Annalisa ci hanno accolto in modo amichevole ma professionale, ci hanno dato utilissime informazioni sia per la scoperta della riva degli etruschi che per conoscere la città e i suoi canali medicei la colazione è eccellente e molto curata: Massimo fa il pane e i dolcetti in casa la posizione è straordinaria sia per gli imbarchi che per la città ci ripromettiamo di tornare in altra occasione, Ileana e Francesco.

Abbiamo soggiornato in tre adulti per una sola notte, in attesa d'imbarcarci per la Sardegna il giorno seguente. La struttura è proprio vicino all'imbarco, la camera molto pulita, silenziosa e la colazione genuina e ben preparata da Massimo, che è stato anche molto gentile nel consigliarci dove mangiare e cosa visitare in un giorno. Consiglio vivamente la struttura e se capiterà di tornare a Livorno prenoteremo con molto piacere.

Breve weekend Pasquale. Struttura molto pulita e curata, arredamento originale e colazione super abbondante e costituita da prodotti casalinghi e di qualità. I padroni di casa, Annalisa e Massimo molto simpatici e cordiali disponibili in ogni momento per suggerimenti e condivisione. Mi sono trovata benissimo e la zona piccola Venezia è molto carina. Struttura molto bella vicino al centro e alla zona imbarchi. La vista dalle camere è molto suggestiva in quanto si affaccia su uno dei canali navigabili del quartiere Venezia. Camera spaziosa curata nei dettagli e molto pulita. I gestori sono molto disponibili sia per informazioni pratiche (prenotazione ristoranti) sia per anticipare la colazione visti che avevamo imbarco molto presto. Inoltre per colazione vengono serviti pane brioches e yogurt tutti fatti in casa.

A parte la comodità rispetto al centro, alla pace che regna in questo luogo, alla pulizia delle camere, agli arredi semplici ma ricercati, alla cura e qualità eccellente della colazione completata da alimenti da loro stessi prodotti, non posso che recensire l'ospitalità dei gestori come un grandissimo valore aggiunto. La loro "energia positiva" che trasmettono con naturalezza non può essere ignorata e non farti pensare che avrai piacere a ritornare da loro nella prossima visita a questa città.

Sono tornato a Livorno dopo 8 anni di assenza in qualità di "Turista", questo soggiorno mi è stato donato in occasione del mio.. esimo compleanno dalla mia attuale compagna ed insieme a lei ho trascorso questa vacanza. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla scelta da Lei fatta perché l'esperienza vissuta al B&B Dogana D'Acqua la porterò con me come qualcosa di "Bello". Ho conosciuto due persone veramente "Speciali" (i gestori) che ci hanno accolto con cortesia. ospitalità, familiarità tanto da farci sentire a casa. La struttura è ben arredata, la camera molto ampia ed accogliente oltre che comodo il letto, la vista dal balcone da su una Livorno Antica con i suoi "Fossi" e la Fortezza Nuova sullo sfondo. La pulizia e la colazione sono altresì punti di forza di questa "struttura", abbondante e buona con i dolci, il pane, le marmellate "fatte in casa" e tutto quanto servito con musica di sottofondo ed apparecchiatura veramente curata. Grazie di cuore.

Soggiornato la notte del 29 maggio con mio marito. La struttura è molto curata, pulita, accogliente e in posizione centralissima. Per noi ottima la vicinanza al porto di Livorno dal quale dovevamo imbarcarci la mattina successiva. I proprietari sono molto gentili, disponibili e ci hanno consigliato un'ottima trattoria dove abbiamo mangiato tipicamente livornese ad un prezzo decisamente conveniente. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questo B&B.

La mattina, al risveglio, prima ancora di aprire la finestra mi colpiva la pace del luogo: non vorrei sembrare retorica, ma sentivo solo il cinguettio degli uccelli. Poi, aprivo la finestra e vedevo il luccichio dell'acqua del canale e le barche e, finalmente, potevo espandere lo sguardo e nulla si frapponeva tra me l'acqua e le case colorate seppure stinte: così è Livorno, luogo dai grandi spazi, da qualunque prospettiva la si guardi. Lo sguardo si espande e il cuore l'accompagna. L'immagine era perfetta. Amo molto Livorno e la sua bellezza dimessa e consiglio il "Giro dei fossi in battello" previa un'occhiata alla storia di questa città così particolare. Ma il giro spiega molto. Via dal turismo di massa, alla ricerca di qualcosa da scoprire e, Livorno, è tutta da scoprire. La Dogana D'acqua è Livorno: accogliente, rispettosa della privacy, gentile, interessante, questo è l'ambiente nel quale ho soggiornato. Vi consiglio questo luogo, città e struttura, con calore. Ancora ringrazio Annalisa e Massimo e abbraccio il piccolo. A presto. Ida, Ezio e Gilda.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene, i proprietari sono cordialissimi e veramente gentili, la colazione è super, tutto fatto in casa, molto molto buono. Lo consigliamo vivamente anche perché vicinissimo all'imbarco navi e perché ha un ampio parcheggio comodo.

È stato un brevissimo soggiorno ma ottimo. Annalisa è molto gentile e cordiale. Mi ha fatto un'ottima impressione non avendo mai usufruito di un B&B. Ottima posizione per chi come noi doveva prendere traghetto per la Sardegna. Dista solo 10 minuti dagli imbarchi. Purtroppo per il tempo ristretto non abbiamo potuto usufruire della colazione. Consigliatissimo.

Ho soggiornato presso questa struttura 4 giorni. Il B&B si trova in una posizione ottima che permette di spostarsi anche a piedi. La proprietaria è fantastica e l'ambiente molto familiare. Mi ha consigliato ottimi ristoranti e conosce molto bene il territorio. La pulizia e l'accoglienza meritano il massimo dei voti. Sicuramente se ritorno a Livorno la mia prima scelta andrà al B&B Agli Archi.

Sono solito girare per tutta Italia, e spesso anche all'estero, a causa del mio lavoro (faccio il fotografo) e so bene quanto la cortesia e l'accoglienza siano punti importanti nel giudizio di una struttura. La cortesia dei proprietari è veramente lodevole, così come la pulizia dell'ambiente. La casa è bella, accogliente e be curata e fare colazione con dolci e pane fatto in casa è stata una bellissima esperienza, che credo ripeterò molto volentieri se dovessi tornare a Livorno. Il motivo della mia visita era quello di passare un paio di giorni di relax con la mia compagna e direi che l'obiettivo è stato assolutamente centrato. Consigliatissimo.
