We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Degli Uccellini. Marilù is an amazing host and provided us with all kind of information to make our stay more comfortable and to explore the surrounding area. La Casa degli Uccellini is such a great place, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The building and the rooms are carefully renovated and very beautiful, the breakfast is delicious with fresh and local products. The garden invites you just to hang around for hours. And Marilù is a wonderful host! Thanks for everything, I wish I could have stayed longer. I absolutely recommend this place!

The word 'agriturismo' should not be misleading: only breakfasts are served here (really excellent ones, by the way). But you can use the kitchen to prepare meals. Allow at least 20 minutes to get to Martina Franca, along a road - this is the main drawback - which is ugly as it crosses a half-industrial, half-commercial area. That being said, it's a pleasant place to stay, with beautiful rooms.

Merci pour votre avis à peine suffisant mais permettez-moi d'apporter quelques précisions. Notre maison est située dans un cadre enchanteur entouré de bois et heureusement encore non anthropisé. Pour rejoindre Martina Franca, qui est la ville la plus proche et se trouve à 7 kilomètres, il est possible d'emprunter deux routes, la S.P. 53 qui traverse sur les 500 premiers mètres la zone industrielle et serpente ensuite à travers les bois et les champs cultivés et le S.P. 56 qui traverse des fermes historiques, des champs cultivés et des bois. Je ne comprends pas ce qui a pu perturber son chemin. Je suis désolé que vous n'ayez même pas aimé notre maison du 17ème siècle, savamment rénovée dans le respect du style de l'époque et avec des matériaux de construction écologiques. Je suis rassuré que vous ayez apprécié mes petits déjeuners. Je vous remercie encore et j'espère que vous aurez envie de retourner dans notre belle terre des Pouilles. Marilù

This is a dream place to spend a few quiet days just steps away from the beautiful sites of the Istria Valley. A beautifully appointed room and bathroom in an old stone building (trulli) providing natural thermal insulation. Sumptuous breakfasts prepared with farm products. And what about Marilù's French advice that made us wish we had stayed longer in Marina Franca. Thank you again, Marilù, for your hospitality and kindness.

Very well maintained, quiet and pleasant, La Casa degli Uccellini gave us the feeling of being "at home", with a welcoming kitchen, a self-service vegetable garden, some little cats, and above all a perfect owner. We stayed for 3 days with our children at Marilù and her husband's place and what can I say, we felt at home. We wanted to experience staying in a trullo and we were not wrong. It's fantastic to immerse yourself in complete silence and in the evening only hear the sounds of nighttime birds. It was an excellent base to explore and find peace. To start the day well, a great breakfast with both savory, local food and sweet, homemade cakes. Perhaps the only, but truly unique, missing feature is the pool, even if small, but it would definitely complete the unique setting. See you soon.

Grazie Ilaria, per il tuo apprezzamento, per la piscina mi dispiace molto che tu ne abbia sentito la mancanza ma avresti dovuto prenotare in una struttura diversa dalla nostra. Il nostro agriturismo si trova a in un territorio meraviglioso, la Murgia, incontaminato lontano da strade di traffico ma allo stesso tempo a mezz'ora di macchina dalle maggiori attraioni della zona. Facciamo di tutto per mantenerne integra l'identità. Coltiviamo in biologico e in aridocoltura, non mettere la piscina è una precisa scelta. In futuro prevediamo di realizzare un piccolo stagno, che è caratteristico della zona, se ritornerai sono sicura che piacerà ai ragazzi perchè è un rifugio per rospi e altri piccoli animali. Vi aspettiamo.

La Casa degli Uccellini is exactly the place where you would want to stay when you are in Valle d'Itria, an old farmhouse perfectly restored, cared for in every detail both in the beautiful rooms and in the 'common' areas, and immersed in the pristine nature not far from Martina Franca. Marilù embodies the fantastic hospitality of Puglia, a woman who conveys the love for her work and for her fantastic land, always ready to recommend restaurants or places to see. The breakfasts are fantastic with organic savory products from the area (a special mention goes to the delicious capocollo of Martina Franca and salted ricotta) and the exceptional homemade cakes daily, a breakfast with a capital C! The evening is beautiful, you find yourself fully immersed in nature, without noise but only with the singing of cicadas. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a unique experience and the true hospitality of Puglia. See you soon Marilù!

This accommodation is what you can desire from the Itria Valley, close to the main places to visit. Mrs. Marilù loves her territory and knows how to advise you best, she conveys well the love for her land. Every morning a rich breakfast with organic products from the area: capocollo, burratine, ricotta, fresh milk etc. We slept in the 'hayloft', an ancient trullo with a loft. Only downside: the heat in the loft and the absence of a TV. Instead, the Wi-Fi is available.

Grazie Marica, sono molto contenta che abbiate apprezzato l'amore per la mia terra e che sia riuscita a trasmettervelo. Dormire nel cono di un trullo del 1600 è un'esperienza unica e l'oblò sulla cima permette una perfetta aereazione ma nelle giornate particolarmente calde, se minaccia di piovere e non si può lasciare l'oblò aperto tutto il giorno, ci può volere un po' di tempo prima che si rinfreschi, mi dispiace, in compenso la parte inferiore è freschissima. L'assenza di TV è stata una scelta, non abbiamo nemmeno un'antenna come specificato nella presentazione della nostra struttura, questo per permettere ai nostri ospiti di lasciare per qualche giorno le abitudini di casa e riscoprire maggiori momenti di condivisione e di attenzione all'ambiente che li circonda. Siete stati degli ospiti molto simpatici, una bellissima famiglia con dei ragazzi adorabili ed educatissimi. Vi aspetto in un periodo dell'anno più fresco sperando di potervi soddisfare al cento per cento.

We stayed here for a good 5 days, we were looking for a quiet place that would allow us to relax and unwind a bit. This is exactly what we found at Casa degli Uccellini. A beautiful, well-kept and tidy place, surrounded by greenery where cordiality and availability reign supreme. As for our experience, we were able to enjoy everything, from the sea to the beautiful villages nearby, true gems. The property is truly enviable, immersed in total tranquility, clean and excellently maintained, as well as equipped with everything you may need. The breakfast is a real highlight, homemade pastries and bread, jams, juices and much more, with the possibility of tasting local specialties. Absolutely recommended.
